i can’t take this update anymore.

Lilia went through so much pain in not only dealing with Meleanor’s death but also with the discrimination he faced against both humans and fae. 😭 The Senate of Briar accusing him that he failed, and that he doesn’t deserve to hatch Malleus because of his origins. Humans, who discriminated him for being fae.

It’s actually so painful to see the segments of his travels 😭 we know that Lilia likes to talk about his travels. To see that he went around the world because of Malleus, because he was trying to find a way to hatch him… it’s so painful to just watch, knowing that for 3 motherfucking years of Twst, he would always talk about his trips in a fond manner.

And then the part when Malleus hatched, when Lilia fucking cried 😭 I am personally ruined. His ideal dream, being the dream where he carried the grief of watching his dear friend die, dealt with all the discrimination from human and fae alike, and yet he got to hatch Malleus and we hear him crying the happiest tears you’ll ever see. Like, that’s love. That’s true love right there. That’s the kind of love that true love’s kiss can’t just give. 😭
