Amazing commission by @siriusdraws!

I gave myself an I-Survived-2021 present, and commissioned an illustration for “No War Should Be Fought Alone” - Chapter 48: The Capture of Cirith Ungol from the highly talented @siriusdraws​ - who was incredibly detailed and patient with my obsessiveness and reference-bombing, and a total joy to collaborate with!

I’m delighted to share the glorious artwork by @siriusdraws​ illustrating this scene:

The kiss broke and Ratbag slid down to stand grinning up at Talion: all fangs, wide and wicked. “Get that piece-of-shrakh Overlord!”

Talion’s smile in return had its own sharp edge; his eyes narrowed in a look of grim promise. His only response to Ratbag’s avid cry was an acknowledging nod.

Yes, because walking in my own house is different than walking class to class at school. I don’t carry a heavy backpack at home. I’m not on a tight schedule at home. I can sit on the ground at home. I can ask my parents or siblings to help me at home. I can crawl on my hands and knees at home. I can lie in the middle of the hallway at home. I can sit on counters and tables at home. I can bear a lot of pain at home. I can show that pain at home. I can collapse in the middle of crawling up the staircase at home.

Don’t tell me or anyone else where or when they need to use their mobility device

i feel like im in the sims where it takes 5 hours to make pasta and then u have to immediately go to bed

living with chronic pain is at any given time being one 10 on the pain scale away from questioning your entire existence

yes “some of us have to work” but also some of us have to deal with daily pain and sickness that is so severe we are unable to keep up with our most basic human functions properly 

so maybe we shouldn’t be comparing our daily struggles, yeah?

Why is it our job as disabled people to educate our doctors on our conditions and tell the what medication, treatments and specialist referrals we need? Why do we have to research information before seeing a doctor if we want the right help? With the amount they’re paid shouldn’t they do their own damn research?

I'm only really coming back here and these to grab a few more off-site urls and to block spam bots following me, but judging by those spam bots this ban is not going to remotely fix the issues. All but one of the bots had switched to either extremely benign photos like landscapes, or risqué but allowed photos of women.

Congrats Tumblr. You didn't fix your problem and still managed to drive people away

Did everyone just…. forget how to create, all of a sudden? Disney pumping out the fourth remake in a row? Movies are like 70% sequels? Stories in games being just bad if they exist at all? Haven’t had a book get hyped in like half a decade? Are we okay? What’s going on?
