Embarking on the journey of the Musaquito Banish-Wax, anxiety set in as we grappled with the complexities of cost structures. The numbers felt like an insurmountable hurdle, threatening to derail our dreams. As the final exam approached, my teammates and I underwent meticulous revisions, refining our pitch deck with precise structural cost estimates that laid the foundation for our ambitious venture. Miriam's connection with Jonel, a friend since high school currently in his 3rd year of Business Management, became a pivotal point. His insights into structural costs mirrored the collaborative spirit that defined our journey. The profits, investment, and the total cost of our product were finalized during our last meeting, marking a crucial step towards the awaited pitch day.

Thursday, our last meeting. Miriam and Chelsea took charge, presenting the refined cost structure to our group. The once-daunting numbers now carried a different weight, one infused with cooperation. Everyone actively participated, offering suggestions and contributing to the discussion. Leaving the meeting with a clear path ahead, we envisioned three years of continuous production, paving the way for a successful future.

The day arrived, filled with a mix of excitement and nerves. Chelsea, in a gesture of camaraderie, even did my makeup to boost the group's confidence. The pitch, led by Chelsea and Kuya Renzon, navigated through inquiries with a job well done, showcasing our meticulously crafted cost breakdown to the panel's satisfaction.

Reflecting on our journey, I am struck by the seamless integration of individual narratives into a collective entrepreneurial symphony. The Musaquito Banish-Wax and the journey through cost structures are unique notes contributing to the universal melody of entrepreneurial pursuit. Each encounter, whether at KnK where they met Jonnel or during the final meeting, became a thread in the tapestry of our shared success. As we celebrate the culmination of our hard work, we stand united by the lessons learned, the bonds forged, and the determination that propelled us forward. Even if our journey ends here as wax crafters, I'm still thankful for all of the memories we shared, ideas, and support. Thank you my dear teammates; Juhannah, Miriam, Leonard, Chelsea, Honorah, Kuya Renzon, Charity, and even Kaye who help us during her hardest time. In the past two weeks, my team and I embarked on a journey to conquer some metaphorical hills in our quest to enhance our product. Our adventure began with a pivotal group meeting centered around creating a three-minute video. We assembled a diverse team, including actors, a camera operator, a scriptwriter, a props maker, and an editor.

Amidst the brainstorming session, our enthusiasm led to an earful discussion from Honorah, who scolded us for our noisy distractions. However, undeterred, we pressed on and, much to our delight, successfully crafted a 3-minute promotional video. The highlight? Leo's endearing antics in front of the camera during the final moments. That joyous creation didn't stop at three minutes; we recycled it into a concise 30-second advertisement.

Our journey extended beyond the realms of our creative studio. We virtually attended a riveting talk series on Zoom, featuring accomplished speakers with captivating presentations. Dr. Gamaliela A. Dumancas delved into the intricacies of "Intellectual Properties Rights and Technology Transfer," emphasizing the importance of trademark patents. Alice Therese L. Caballeda explored the "Start-up Ecosystem," illustrating how a supportive ecosystem is important for the diversification and growth of future products. Doreen Elsie Jane Gersava shared insights on the "Start-up Journey," seamlessly connecting diverse aspects of initiating a business.

In that span of two weeks proved to be a valuable chapter in my journey, expanding my understanding of entrepreneurship and equipping me with insights on creating impactful change through business. The hills we conquered were not just physical, but symbolic steps towards a brighter and more knowledgeable entrepreneurial future.

Pedaling Towards a Greener Future: CMU's Rent-a-Bike

Hello friends ! 👋 Have you imagine being a student at Central Mindanao University (CMU) or in any big universities, eager to learn but facing difficulties every day to go to school. Look familiar right? Guess what, you're not alone! 😐

Our Journey 🌟 began with a deeper dive into the lives of CMU students during the 113th Founder's Day celebration. We spoke with 13 biology students and let me tell you. Their story serves as a highlight of the challenges they faced. Delays, inefficiencies and safety concerns due to limited transportation options are all too common. It's like looking into a well of collective frustration. Transportation was not the only problem they addressed, some addressed the flood, littering, but transportation is their greatest problem among all.With the stories fresh in our minds, we had a lightbulb moment 💡:What if we could come up with a solution? We put our heads together and came up with a hypothesis: a bike rental service, tailored to CMU's unique needs, accessible through a user-friendly app. 📱🚲 This service could be the answer to transportation problems, providing students with a reliable way to get around campus at an affordable price.

We've learned a lot on this journey, like how open conversation and collaboration can bring about real change. It is thanks to this team spirit that we decided to create the revolutionary Bike Rental service.After much discussion and teamwork, we made the decision: We are launching a Bike Rental service to solve CMU's transportation challenges. 🌐♻️ Our goal? To give an efficient, environmental friendly and affordable means of transportation for the CMUans who's having a hard time in transportation.

In short, Our journey taught us a valuable lesson: when we actually listen to the folks at CMU, magic happens. 🌟 We heard their struggles loud and clear, and it hit us - we can't just sit around. We gotta roll up our sleeves, work together, and cook up some cool solutions. Teamwork makes the dream work, right? 💪 So, here's to action and solving problems as a community! 🙌
