Unfortunate timing in which i woke up today feeling violently awash in memory and feeling barely half awake half like a person at all not in a particularly bad way just in a very pervasive all consuming way. and then had to spend the next 5hrs traipsing around the forest with a bunch of sort-of-friends-sort-of-acquaintances i was just in the small talk gauntlet but barely able to string a coherent sentence today. rewatching early avenger movie is funny because there was a direct inverse relationship btwn how hot slash fun a character was and how effective they were in their stupid little battles. its like blah blah iron man just vaporized 50 dudes and 3 buildings in one blast, boringly, meanwhile i estimate black widow and captain america killed a combined like 12 robots in the whole movie. but they served the whole time

friends are currently in the process of collectively adopting someone into our group which is great but its reached the stage where i think new friend feels pretty comfortable doing 1-on-1 hang out w everyone in the group except me and thus keeps trying to initiate 1-on-1 hang out with me but unfortunately i am not at the 1-on-1 hang stage so im just constantly frantically looking for any available other friends to be buffer people its gettingkind of ridiculous. normal way to navigate the world

A girl I went to high school with but wasn’t really friends with was murdered last year and it shocked me how deeply upset I was I was crying multiple times a day for about 2 weeks and when I first heard I didn’t get out of bed fir 2 days. And I felt so guilty because I didn’t know her that well but my reaction was so big. But even if it feels silly because you didn’t know the person that well you should still let yourself grieve. You knew someone and their life was far too short, that’s horrible and upsetting and there’s not a way around that. Sorry I know that’s not a great answer but it’s the truth. Sending you love ❤️
