John Burb starts his day as usual by wanting to call everyone that isn't his own daughter. He had a very interesting and totally hypothetical conversation with Alexander that had something to do with 'coming up with an alibi' and 'breaking into the Simcity jail if things happened to go wrong'. What an eccentric goofball of a guy.
Meanwhile Jennifer slept in.
John went on a hike before work. He had a successful one. No bees this time.
And Darren was passing by and taking Daphne for a walk! Tartarus got to spend some time with his mom aww :)
Jennifer was awake and ready to face the day by now. She wanted to throw a party, which I decided was a good excuse to have her catch up with her late brother's children now that they're adults.
She also spent some time chatting with Desdemona, which considering the fact that she and Lucy are still engaged and it doesn't seem to be stopping, is a good plan. They get along very well.
She also sneaks in a few flirts with Florence upstairs. All according to plan.
However, disaster strikes and John runs into a comical situation at work. And then loses his job. Fortunately we didn't see a repeat of the Pleasants, because Jennifer had the good sense to not go beyond a few pickup lines before he got home.
Tybalt Capp started taking a shower at their house, which is pretty unhinged. And in the bathroom John was desperately trying to use. He managed to avoid a party accident on top of everything else going wrong in his life right now.
Meanwhile the party went swimmingly. Everyone watched sports, talked about normal things, ate some soup, and I don't think Dustin was even invited but he did show up at some point.
The party ended and Tartarus did what he always does: watch them sleep.
And at the very end of the round, Luna was born! John, despite lifetime-wanting 6 kids, didn't want to have a baby and so now he's even worse off than before. Hopefully he can recover from this whole situation.

Dirk has got to find a job. The Natural Science career was hiring, so he started his first day as a clam wrangler.
i love the little shuffle shy sims do it makes me giggle every time.
Boodles manages to make the time pass while she's home alone.
immediate promotion. they took one look at this man wrangling clams and went "boy do we have a job for you" and handed him the poop shovel. let's goooo
Mercutio happened to be strolling by so Dirk greeted him and his awful orange asshole cat.

They don't really talk to each other much. Mercutio just lets his cat destroy shit and climb all over the counters while ranting about the burglar from a while ago.
and then mercutio breaks the fucking bathroom sink. absolutely no manners. fortunately Dirk knows his way around plumbing and fixes it right before bed. between him and dustin this round they've fixed a whole bathroom.

consort sleeps peacefully among the gnomes. but this isn't about him
IT'S MALL GOTH'S BIRTHDAY! YAY! she has to go to school before she can party, but spends the morning before school making barbies kiss. of course i'm keeping this image safe for later use as well.
for one, we know it is Rosalind Capp. plus in character cassandra goth decision making. she's about to start a whole new feud.
After everyone gets home it's time to party. all of her friends (and Cassie's) were invited :) Her aspiration was in the gold when she aged up thanks to being able to talk about hobbies with her guests.
mall goth the sim you will be purchased new clothes next round... we have a theme to stick to come on now
Consort immediately starts engaging in homophobia. I don't even know what Kevin Beare could have possibly done to him. Alex I get because he's an unforgivable asshole that interrupted his peaceful afterlife, and Kent was already unpopular to him, but Kevin has done absolutely nothing. Everyone else starts to socialize and eat cake.
a completely off-the-wall intense round of kickyball starts. Mall gets free entertainment for her birthday. half the party crowded around to watch. people were hooting and hollering. birthday party of all time
consort got trapped in the dining room with all those that fucking hate him. the tables turned. pride has ended they have entered wrath month
I kept scooting between the kickyball tournament and this because they just kept fighting. i have no clue what anyone else got into. I know a few different people became best friends. let the wolf eat his jello stop distracting him with fights.
I did manage to check the upper floors to find the crowds of people desperately trying to steal the gnome goldmine. Overall, the party was a raging success. Mall's a teenager now, Consort has further gained enemies, Cassandra and Darren are happy in their marriage, plus next round is Darren's birthday so we're not even done here.
so it seems a prank war will begin.

Nina brought John Burb home again, since she does that every day, and finally seduced him. Part two of my devious plot has begun. She finished the deed and thought about a nice meal.

he is now named trevor. yippee. Everyone in this household works or has school at the same time, so the entire afternoon is pretty empty.
YAY!!!!
Dustin gets home from work long enough to stand around and then walk back. Oh well. He was going to fix the shower that's been broken for several days, but work is more important.
Since they're raking in cash, a porch expansion was justified.
Trevor arrived home and brought Joseph with him. They had a ticke fight while the local zombie walked the family cat around.
Dina called up the college kids after work to chat about future vacation plans.
he got a chance card and failed. whuh oh.
Trevor then wanted to throw a sports party and why not? So the house and its newly expanded porch fill up quickly. Brandi had to work on her friendship with Cassandra, too, so she was also invited.
NONE of these people are watching the fucking game. come on guys its a sports party. you have to watch. meanwhile Dustin still can't get around to fix that shower because the bathroom is full constantly.
Mercutio walked by and witnessed a werewolf transformation in the distance. Dina greeted him and invited him. The party was a big success.
why are you playing fetch in the fucking HOUSE dustin. you are blocking the only hallway. people are yelling and screaming about how they can't reach the bathroom. he DID manage to finally fix that shower though. maybe now they'll stop crying every time they step into the bathroom.

Malcolm becomes best friends with Malcolm over potty training.
they have so much in common.
They have a butler, but she likes earning skill points and took care of the clog herself.
I decided that Malcolm should have control of the local grocery store since it's apparently a popular place, plus it gives an excuse to have Joseph working an actual job. Look at him running that register like a champ.

The Ramirez family had a normal day. Since Lisa's once again unemployed, she's running the household. And greeting guests. She tries to not bring up everything she saw when she wandered in on Kent's housewarming party.

Armando is the easiest sim baby I've ever dealt with. He literally never wants or needs anything he's just chillin all day. Tessa came home and got herself a job as a nanny because all she wants is to make money.

Martin's predestined hobby is science. He wanted a telescope and the family certainly had the money to spare.
