Me: when you discover what rap you do, when you don't need a second opinion, when you know and are certain that you know this shit is what you wanna do, then and only then can you bring your material to me for audition. Right now it seems you're only rapping because it is cool, because you hope to blow up over night. Rap is probably not for you, but you're into the music. You are probably a manager in the making, a show promoter, anything else related to the music but an artist. But don't give up yet, keep rapping til either you get tired of it, or til the right call bites you. Take your time, it'll come. I din't start with Podtape since being a teen, took a good ten years of listening to the industry, paying attention to detail. Eventuall in 2009 my calling came around. I don't rap anymore, but that's where it started for me.

HYPE HYPE HYPE, social network hype got me onto this one. Via twitter and facebook I got wind of the coming. Khwezi’s qwerty keys were getting punched and retweeting as follows:

I was hooked, investigated by spying Nomadic’s timeline and the writing was on the wall. Past midnight the link dropped, downloaded it, dipped in my iTunes and been bumping.
Good music to my ear, as would be expected when the above mentioned dually open up their oesophagus' on a record. Shouts to Motswaki Vic, my first listen to dude and he sounds familiar along the lines of real being recognized.
I foresee this getting spun on radio, the producer Spryt made lovely music of an instrumental beat. Has a subtle melodic grasp, pleasant sounding, easily eavesdrop worthy from the first listen. Type of rap music, when bumped really loud, neighbours wouldn’t complain, after the third replay listen.
This is dope by all means audible, Podtape would approve.

Ever since podtape, it is one thing for me to hear my kind of music while in passing. You know, kids screwing faces bobbing heads to their smartphones bumping beats made by themselves, at a skate board-meeting on an empty car parking lot. It is totally another for me to have music sent to my inbox, by those that believe I "needs to hear this right'chea sun!!!"
Sources will not be named, I came across this joint, amongst the plenty I keep brushing aside and thought... and am still thinking... my dude The Boogie's all good.
I personally dig this due to how it sounds not like anything that saturates what is now termed 'music', and more so am happy with my Capetonian companion Boogie Black Keys, still making my kind of music that I enjoy to let shift my ambiance... "it ain't always gotta be about house music ya'll" - unknown.
Word has it, or rather the info that came with this instrumental via my inbox states there will be a full project with more tunes by Boogie - The Project Ep. I look forward to that.
