Jynx is based on a valkyrie (you've probably seen these) and a yama-uba (however since you probably would never have seen this mythology I understand your confusion). Mountain hags are old ladies who, due to being immortal, have jet-black skin (black is associated with lack of change, like black belts, so long life = black) and light hair (Japanese people don't usually gray so they often confuse blonde normal hair and silver/blue old hair). The live in snowy mountain caves and often eat humans.

WHO LET IT GET SWALLOWED UP BY ITS TAIL??? If ever there was a Pokémon that you can CLEARLY see the anxiety on, it's Mega Slowbro. Look at its face it has all the anxiety!!!Change it. Yesterday. Preconception. Back to the drawing board. Cntl+Z. If they HAD to keep it (which was a mistake) then here's a thought; integrate it like a symbiotic relationship. The shell and Slowbro merge more, giving Slowbro more of an "armored" look to it, and then give it a bit more of an attack/special attack boost. Shell Armor is okay, but Sheer Force could also work. Slamming into opponents with raw power in Trick Room. Make it the monster it deserved to be. It didn't need to be a wall. We don't enjoy stall battles GameFreak. ~ ModGruntcleAlso, side note, WHO LET SLOWBRO LEARN AERIAL ACE???

Another thing i think gamefreak did wrong is create spinda i know other people might disagree but i thought it look uninteresting and usless. that's my opinion.

I respect your opinion, and understand you have a dislike for it. It's understandable and I appreciate that you feel that way. To be fair, I don't feel that way, and it's unlikely we'd agree on that point. I'll try to give it a few things to improve it if I can. - More spot varietySpinda are known for having a variety of spots, but I feel they could do more with it. It's spotted to hide in areas and to create a somewhat dizzying pattern. Which brings me to my next thought. - AbilitiesI'm surprised that they didn't make an ability called "Dizzying Form" that whenever it attacked, there was a 5% chance you'd confused your opponent. That would've been a bit much but even so that could've been SO COOL. Contrary works though, and I approve of it alongside Own Tempo. - StatsBump them up. Make them flat 70's and you're good. More viability that way and still can be used in a variety of ways. And yeah. The dizzy Spot Panda Pokémon. I love it and I wish they could've made it a little bit more pandaish too XD ~ ModGruntcle

My poor Midnight form Lycanroc.... I had such high hopes but with shit defense and health I was devastated.

I *squints* 85 health isn't bad at all. It's good actually. Hell all of its stats aren't terrible; just not what I personally expected from a Rock type - but in a surprisingly good way. No, it's the abilities that throw me off. Keen Eye/Vital Spirit. HA No Guard. No Guard is the hidden ability for Midnight Lycanroc. I - GameFreak? Friends? You okay? Like I know you love your evasion but most of Lycanrock's moves are over 80% accurate. That's NOT bad! Sucks when you miss but still!Hell, Midday form is better for then Sand Rush alone. It has base 112 speed!!! I mean things outspeed but holy shit! Excadrill is base 88 and I just "HUH???" I feel Midnight form would've made good use of that ability, just saying. And if not, then I feel Hustle could've been an interesting ability for it. Also why does the Midnight form not learn Accelerock? Seriously GameFreak, I don't get it. ~ ModGruntcle

You talking shit about my pancake child? I'll admit it needs work but this Pokémon does have some things going good for it. And...I like goofy things, and this Pokémon is a goofy Pokémon so I DO like it. - Design Like I said, it's goofy and I like that. I can work with it and it's just a smiling goober. If you were to improve it, Wimpod isn't too far off from a good reference; eyes front, smile on the bottom. Makes it more aesthetically appealing, while allowing it to keep a more "fish-form" like that one fish I think it's based on...at least I think it's based on a fish? What are you pancake child? You're... a trap? The Trap Pokémon? Hm. - StatsA little more attack wouldn't hurt, but otherwise it's a Trick Room Pokémon clearly. - Abilities Okay here we go. First and foremost; what the SHIT GameFreak? Limber? And when electric types couldn't be paralyzed you didn't change it? And why in the hell is Sand Veil and option - EVASION IS SO DUMB AAAAAAAAH. Here, educate yourself with this list; Static, Water Absorb, HA Sheer Force. It practically lives in water and you remove a weakness. Plus you can run it on a Sand Team and people won't know if you're Water Absorb or Sheer Force. One you can switch in and stop a Pokémon from dying to a Hydro Pump, the other can drop pain on them. As for Sheer Force, it gets access to a lot of special moves with secondary effects; let it make use of them will fill power! Thank you. So, how's that for an improvement?~ ModGruntcle

*SKREM INTO THE VOID UNTIL IT IS UNCOMFORTABLE AND FUCKS OFF*Okay, DESIGN, beautiful. I love it. Mega Pidgeot is a BEAST. Stats? What the fuck where you thinking GameFreak? No Guard and Special Attack? I - I - WHAT? No Guard; all one-hit-KO moves will hit, Thunder, Zap Cannon, Stone Edge, Blizzard...they can never miss. Ever. Special Attacks: Heat Wave and Hurricane, Air Slash, Ominous Wind if you're being cheeky. This Pokémon could've been a more mixed attacker. Give it a different ability like Guts or Sheer Force and make it more balanced like it was before; Attack AND Special Attack boost. Also widen its Move Pool a little? Let it learn some other moves because it's pool seems a little short and that's really kinda sad like "why this"?~ ModGruntcle

Send in ONE Pokémon that you think GameFreak could have done better on and I’ll give my opinion on it and how I think it could be improved.

Please remember this is completely opinionated…but also I’ll try to be helping keep it balanced. So, let’s begin.

Alolan Meowth & Persian. Honestly this design id so funny looking I can't take it seriously. I wanna hear your thoughts on it.

I have 2 different thoughts actually!Alolan Meowth: I like it! It's still a Meowth, but it's so SASSY and I love that. This is a more wild Meowth that's just "I'm better than you and I know it". It didn't stray too far from the Meowth design, just its attitude and color, and yet it worked well. Alolan Persian: "Please cure my depression" aside...I...what did they do to you? It's head looks like it will fall over and it - I - baby why? Here's some stuff that might've made it better honestly;- Make it look somewhat more like a black panther. Still that streamline design but more SAVAGE and WILD; like how the Meowth is feral, this should've looked feral too. - Give it more fur to cover its paws, shoulders, as hindquarters. That would fulfill the Fur Coat, while keeping its fetal idea and its Persian design. - The tail. The tail should have no curl now, it should be ragged, a little scruffy and again WILD. And...yeah. They made Alolan Meowth sound like it was a wild, feral thing and then there this FLOOFY BIG FACED EVOLUTION. Don't get me wrong it's cute, but it wasn't the image I had imagined from Alolan Meowth's initial Pokedex entry. ~ ModGruntcle

I got another one: Male Salandit.

*points at* You. I love you for this. Yes good. Thank you. Okay, this actually goes with Combes too, but I'll let that slide for Salandit for now because it NEEDS THIS. Design wise? I like it. It and female Salandit aren't bad. It's fine, and it works. And then it just doesn't get an evolution. Only one of them does. I - GameFreak you've done this before. You've tried this before. Did - did we give you the impression we LIKED it? That only male Ralts can be Galade? That only female Combee can be Vespiquen? If so, well, I don't know about others but I'm sorry because I DO NOT like this. Evolution doesn't work like this as far as I know. They would make the male subservient in some way, if nothing else, but they'd let it evolve. They could've made it able to evolve into either a physical attacker or a semi-bulky Pokémon. Make it look like a thicker lizard maybe, or something shorter and more bowed headed. More "I will do what you say" for its Salazzle lady. ~ ModGruntcle
