richie is smart as fuck but i feel like he has really weird knowledge gaps? like just random things that you think everyone knows and he just never learned. so like he aces all his classes but he calls ice trays something stupid like “water freezies.” he gets a perfect score on the SAT’s but he didn’t know the north pole was a real place until he was seventeen. he has never gotten anything lower than an A on an assignment but he pronounces cake like khaki until one of the losers hears him say it and is like???????? no??????

random loser’s club headcanon

-Stan and Mike love watching nature documentaries together.

-They’ll sometimes make the other losers watch them, but it’s a very rare occurrence because: 

-Bill either falls asleep 20 minutes in or cries about how cute they are. 

-Eddie gets grossed out easily and asks way too many questions. (”What is that animal called again.” “Eddie, David Attenborough literally just said the name like five times-”)

-Richie as always makes so many ridiculous/vulgar jokes and tries to narrate over what’s happening using different accents (typically the British one). He thinks it’s absolutely hilarious to compare his friends to different animals, he always says the smallest ones are Eddie. (”Shut the fuck up dickhead, I do not look like a Meerkat!” “Keep telling yourself that Eds.”) 

-Ben will frequently say random facts he’s read about certain animals or places, and he can’t physically watch any animals getting hurt. (”Ben you can come back in the room now, the baby turtle is fine.” “Oh thank god.”) 

-Bev gets actually outraged and yells at the screen when animals are harmed; especially when it’s caused by humans. They have to always pause the documentary at least once so she can rant passionately. She’ll also say ‘I want one’ to basically every animal that comes on screen. (”Bev, they just said they’re highly deadly.” “I don’t care.”) 

-So yeah, Stan and Mike usually prefer to sip tea and watch their nature docs in peace.

sleepy headcanons please. dem losers be sleepy sometimes. we all get sleeby. 😴

- id say sleepiest among the group is bill and ben

- i think these two also take naps together all snuggled up🥺nothing like cuddling up with ben hanscom under a weighted blanket after a long day

- and like falling asleep during movies is sooo bill, dudes got a lot on his mind

- they all look over and are like ughhh bill 🙄 it’s a whole running joke

- he is not a cute sleeper either like mouth wide open always drool everywhere snoring etc but they all think it’s kind of sweet

- bens also a snorer but he’s not as gross about it bill is just annoying lol (that’s a joke i love him shut up)

- also i think ben and bev are like the cutest sleepers they get all curled up in like fetal position to sleep and both look so angelic and sweet when they snooze

- bev likes to nap on this one couch they have in their sunroom it’s her fav spot she keeps her special extra soft lavender blanket there !! and if they don’t know where she is they look there first

- i think that they’re all very soft with each other when they can tell one is sleepy . esp stan when another loser is hurt or sleepy or sad or whatever he’s so extra soft and you can really tell because his normal demeanor is what some may call… slightly abrasive. he just like things to go his way and that’s not his fault

- but you’ll see him like tucking an extra blanket around bill or letting bev falls asleep with her head in his lap or massaging mike’s hands as he dozes off and it’s soo sweet

- i think that stan and rich might both occasionally struggle w insomnia, for dif reasons, richie is just twitchy and has like a lot of racing thoughts when he tries to sleep and stan also has scary thoughts at night sometime and everything has to be just right to fall asleep

- so sometimes you’ll find them in the living room watching desperate housewives or survivor together late at night all cuddled up with droopy eyes illuminated in the bright light of the tv

- when eddie gets tired he becomes sort of a b i t c h and they all think it’s really funny he’s like a little terrier and he’ll lean against things and close his eyes but still be frowning and it’s silly

- my fav thing to think about is the sleepovers they have with all 7 of them and they pull all nighters and stay up drinking rum and giggling and playing truth or dare and watching dumb rom coms and they’re all so loopy and bills always the first to fall asleep and they draw things on their face and they eat cereal while sitting on the counter and whisper silly things to each other in the dark in their bed all together as they drift off <33
