Day six (I think) mexico food log. Today was Chichen Itza day! I have a goal of seeing all 7 world wonders before I'm 30 and this was the first one! So happy
Breakfast: Skipped breakfast because the tour started at 7am
Lunch: two chciken tacos (they had no vegetarian option ahhh I cry)
Dinner: unfortunately had to skip dinner because I got heat exhaustion very badly. SO SAD because my friends booked reservations to a nice japanese hibachi grill and I couldn't go but it looked delicious
Didn't really eat anything yesterday unfortunately because of my sickness but I feel much better today. Have a job interview at 2:30 so I'll definitely eat breakfast beforehand.

Day FIVE mexico food log (also its cinco de mayo which is fun)
Breakfast: skipped breakfast because my friends slept in and I didn't feel like having breakfast alone. Did have another mocaccino though
Lunch: tried having a burger but only finsihed like not even half. Had some fried and that was kinda it
Dinner: I was desperately, and I mean DESPERATELY craving tomatos so I had some veggies but got a whole bowl pf cut up tomatos and salad dressing and went to town on that, fucking yum (oh and I got a bit drunk as well oops)

Day four mexico food log
Breakfast: oatmeal with fruit yogurt and some hashbrowns. Also had two mocaccinos tried them for the first time and they're amazing
Skipped lunch because we were very busy with shopping
Dinner: went to a japanese restaurant and had shrimp and fish frued rice and white chocolate and green tea mousse
Also I only realized when I was sleeping that I didn't drink at all yesterday???? It's probably fpr the best I dont drink everyday because it's not like me. Today I think will have a pina colada though

I decided to do a vacation food log because uhhhh why not!
Breakfast: eggs, hashbrowns, fried tomatos, celery, cucumber juice and like fucking 4 cups of coffee (im so sorry green tea forgive me) (tmo I will have enough oatmeal to kill a man istg)
Skipped lunch but I did have a english breakfast tea I made with a coffee maker lmaooo no milk though
Dinner: tacos, cucumbers (ofc) with hummas and baba ganoush, and some sushi. Had a nice hibiscus lemonade
Desert was a tiny bit of japanese cheese cake and chocolate cake
Probably going to get a drink tonight. My biggest struggle with a buffet is eating too much (obviously) so I'm trying to take mid meal breaks to check in with how im feeling. Very helpful but not perfect. Probably like 90% full right now but I'd rather be at 80 or 75.

Silly ass food log
Breakfast: coffee (ughhh I've been trying to wean off coffee for green tea, but I love coffee so much)
Lunch: multigrain toast with tofu spread topped with cucumbers and tomatos. Lightly undercooked scrabbled eggs on the side
Dinner: three homeade fish/shrimp tacos and and small mug of miso soup
Snacking on some corn nuts, japanese strawberry chocolate and spearmint tea

important lesson of the day: there's a huge difference between not having free time and not having energy to enjoy your free time as you wish because you're using your time in a negative way.
it's so easy to fall into this modern idea of oh, the world is so rushed, nobody has time for anything anymore, and then blaming your shortcomings on your supposed lack of time, but a tiny investigation of your habits and routine will show you that, if you organized yourself in a different way, you'd find the time to do, if not everything, a lot of your postponed projects.
check your phone: are you spending hours and hours looking at other people's lives? checking and refreshing to catch up on the latest information that adds nothing to your life other than mental clutter and anxiety? are you caught up in a "grind mode" mentality without actual meaningful results just to feel like you're doing what society expects of you? are you giving your time and energy to other people who offer you neither in return?
a lot of people really don't have a lot of free time, but nowadays, I think a lot more people believe they don't have time when in reality they're giving their time away without even realizing, thinking that this waste is "productivity", "grinding", "staying informed", "keeping up", "checking in" etc.
observe your routine and habits this upcoming week and take a good, honest look at them. are you truly without any time to accomplish your projects and ambitions, or are you victimized by your own patterns? are you truly just that busy or are you occupying yourself with everything but your own self? do you really lack time or is it that all your energy is going towards other less important things?
you owe your time and energy to yourself first, second and third. you've got nothing but your time and energy in this world. use it wisely or keep watching others accomplish what you don't even allow yourself to dream of doing.
