In India, we have had constant love for rice. But scientifically it has been said that rice is not good for our health. But in recent times it has become the topic of debate. Some people believe eating in right amount rice can prove to be healthy diet in many ways. It has been believed for years that rice results in weight gain, increase blood sugar level etc.

But recently it is being said that Basmati rice is beneficial and helps in improving health in many ways. It is said that basmati rice keeps heart healthy as it is low on saturated fats and sodium.

Basmati rice is blessed with the goodness of dietary fibers, with 20% more fiber than many other kinds of cereal which have the ability to prevent the growth of cancerous cells.
It has been believed that eating rice causes weight gain. But evidence reveals that basmati rice can incredibly help people to shed excess weight. The richness of natural dietary fiber slows down digestion, keep you satiated for longer time and control unwanted food cravings.
