A Walk Through Art History

I designed these shoes with a unique goal in mind: to create a shoe as a summation of an entire culture’s art. Each shoe possesses design qualities, color palettes, and designs only found in the respective culture. This project allowed me to investigate art historical cultures in a special way by challenging myself to translate an entire style (or series of styles) onto a single object.

Conveniently, I was able to use these designs as the concentration section of my AP Studio Art portfolio and received a score of a 5! 

 I possess full federal copyright of these designs.

The more I participate in the DID/OSDD side of tumblr, the more I realize that there are in fact "pseudo celebrities." They're not REALLY celebrities, leaders, etc but it does feel like the community at large will respect your post more if one of these people interact. And I dont mean more respect as in getting more notes, but more like people will be more respectful in their interactions with you in general if one of those specific people interact with you.

It's just weird to me. Has anyone else noticed this? I don't think I'm making it up...
