They know that desire for romance exist, because they experience it. Almost everyone does unless they’re asexual. It’s almost a universal human experience. They’re just trying to convince us that lesbian attraction is ideologically pure, and attraction to men is unnatural and makes you a traitor to women. They really believe that their sexuality and/or abstaining from sex makes them more pure and better activists, despite the fact that they haven’t organized at all in real life or done anything to better life for women, given us any resources to contact or join in the “communities” they keep talking about and that everyone supposedly has. But yeah, romantic attraction doesn’t exist, that’s why gay and lesbian people fought for the right to get married for so long.
