literally what other protagonist is like stocke. he's missing like 15 years of his life from his memory and never once questions it. the first thing he does upon seeing a vision of his friends die is go 'im not gonna worry about that'. he is constantly lying to himself and everyone around him so he can keep up his cool, reliable, and distant persona even as he's slowly losing his mind. "i would never hurt you" he says to the friend he kills in another timeline. "unfortunately, im not your brother" he says to the girl he is definitely the brother of. dramatic irony has made him their bitch. he dresses weird. he unknowingly stole his own identity. he went back in time to learn how to dance. he's died twice. he's even bisexual.
