we both were so difficult
but so invincible, irresistible
but I loved you still

okay but they’re literally putting eddie in the gayest set of circumstances possible…like…a pride parade would be less gay…and he’s just acknowledged his catholic guilt…and marisol’s moved out…and you expect me to not think a queer arc’s being set up?

When Eddie sees Buck kiss Tommy after Tommy’s entrance at the wedding, I think he’ll look happy and he will smile like everyone else does, but Ryan will make sure that for a microsecond, Eddie’s face carries an expression that is indescribable and that no human face has every carried before, and in that one expression we’ll know the multitude of emotions that Eddie is feeling.

if you need me i’ll still be thinking about the 3x09 kitchen scene. not the part where buck inexplicably says “oh, i’d still take you,” while eddie smirks like he’s gonna make buck prove it, but. the part where buck couldn’t stomach eddie’s forgiveness any longer because for some reason, these totally normal best friends act like buck really does have a duty to christopher and eddie, his best friend of a year. the part where it’s probably the first time buck’s made something about himself and been right to do so. buck shored up his reserves of emotional awareness once he learned eddie was fighting, swam through self-blame for like a week, and came to the conclusion that at least some of eddie’s anger had something to do with him. eddie cannot, and will not, admit that buck leaving (him) was his trigger after months of nothing but tragedy, but he doesn’t have to, because they both know he’s crushing his pain down. and because buck knows, from this moment on, he’s always going to be there when eddie and chris need him. eddie doesn’t know it’s a promise but he knows it enough to put buck in his will a few months later. it only takes a minute after this insanity that they start flirting loudly over their trauma and the scene morphs from unprompted devotion to filthy nasty homosexuality. THAT’S CRAZY.
