So time for a comp stuff entry I’m just going to pick my favorites sense it’s been so long. I genuinely don’t put effort into the game anymore minus these comp outfits so I might as well show them off.

As you can tell recently I’ve definitely gone for more high fantasy and gothic themes while also leaning heavily on influences from historical fashion. I think it’s important to note that I think unique suits that fit the theme are starting to get better reception then they have in the past. Anyway we’re in a content drought and I’m extremely bored with the game maybe that’s just what happens when you play a game consistently for four years and you slowly watch a game you loved and put so much time into just kinda disappoint me over and over while you hope it gets better. I think it’s pretty bleak honestly but at least the clothes are cute right.

just saw a post saying that apparently in genshin impact some bit of dialogue referred to a brown-skinned character as "exotic" and the fans didn't like it so the developers...listened to them and changed it? so. why are our standards so low and why do people act like paper being a chinese company means they're incapable of understanding or fixing anything about the portrayal of wasteland characters

Comp shit I barely play this game anymore part 2

Halloween feast: I took this as an extremely fancy event with a live singer kinda like an event a wealthy vampire would have.

Dark Alice: I decided I wanted to make her the servant of the red queen, killing people for her new leader. This Alice one day hopes to take the throne for herself.

Flower of the night: this is once again a fairy inspired suit where the hair is a flower that the butterflies are attracted too. I wanted to make her look like she wasn’t human.

Magical girl makeup: her main inspirations were Homura and Kyoko from Madoka Magica and she looks kinda like a fashion sketch. She’s also a trans women because she gives off those vibes.

Romantic beach wedding: I wanted this one to reflect how beach weddings are often less formal in real life but I still wanted to make it regal. I also wanted to make it look like she was in the middle of saying her vows gesturing frantically because she’s just so excited.

Dancing in the sky: the first thing I thought of using was black swan but I decided not to because it seemed far to obvious. I went in a totally different direction then I thought I would but I still really like this suit!

Comp shit I barely play this game anymore edition part 1

Summer Aroma: Summer reminds me of concerts which reminds me of MySpace era photo editing styles. I stand by that suit even though I don’t love it.

Desert song: I wanted to make a suit that we’re more representative of actual desert cultures, I looked though some of the fashion trends of different desert cultures and I think I mostly based it off of a specific one but it was so long ago that I can’t quite remember.

Withering and blooming: I think this is a representation of a goddess of fall, I wanted to make them look very natural and flowy.

Lantern in the dark: it’s honestly just like this gothic suit with a lantern theres not much to it.

Inside and outside the window: first of all what on earth is this theme like what is it supposed to mean. I think my inspiration directly came from like Alice and wonderland based on the color scheme and it having dragons which kinda look like the jabberwocky.

Reunion at station: this one’s based off of personal style with a more militaristic twist.

A Dream under the tree: This one was actually inspired by a poster in my room of the piece called The Shadow Faries by Michael Humphries.

Prince and flower: I thought I could make a beautiful prince draped in purples and I loved the idea of him being a bard in search of his true love.

Fashion Focus: I was thinking about how cool fur trim is for winter and how I was hoping for it to come back so that’s the inspiration for that.

Beauty of autumn: I kinda wanted to do this like cute femboy with long hair in autumnal colors. I think it’s a really good and simple suit.
