I finally figured out my problem with the newer resident evil games... Its following more of the Dead Aim and Gun Survivor story than the numbered. And it bothers me that they named it 7-8 when it doesnt really follow that story. (From what ive seen in gameplay vids that is)

And that since around number 4 (which i love for some weird reason) they have been ripping things from Silent Hill and only slightly changing them. (Pyrimid head looks alot like the Executioner from 5) which is common in the game making world. And i beleive, but dont quote me on this, Namco/Bandai and Capcom are sister companies or ones owned by the other, idk, the world of business is to complicated for my smoothbrain. X.x

My other issue is no one cares about the original story anymore either. They only care about the big tittied vampire wannabe woman. And this has been a series ive loved since as far as i can remeber. And too me, it feels like its die hard fans are being cast aside for the cash grab its become. (Like most series now a days.)
