To My Beloved Prince, My Soul and My Being.

Without a doubt my heart is still a-joy from accompanying you through the festival today. To witness your joy and delight at the outpouring of love your people share with each other and the affection they place upon you was beyond compare.

If I were to spend the extent of a Knights meagre wages on companions for yourself, to remind and comfort you when I am away, I would do so willingly. To experience life outside the Castle walls with you shall sustain my soul.

To be able to take my rightful place in the world at your side, if only for a day, made me question my duties. The expectations place on us both by our roles and stature keep us apart, and while I would do anything to never be parted, I know your role in life is greatness and the Crown.

If only those casting looks aside to our clasped grasp could only hear the whispers that fall from my lips to your ear. The faltering poetry I spend dark evenings pouring over in the library to find the phrase to justly open my heart, while alas sill falling short.

Without you my heart ceases to beat, my world becomes a blur of grey and steel, and even the sweetest song loses its lustre and life to my ear. You write of craving, aching, and elation, I too share these pains, though when I am with you, when I am free to touch you as I please I burn for you. I yearn for you. Each touch sparks a thirst and hunger which cannot be quenched and my mind loses sense of time, season, duty or expectation and the moment is all I become.

To talk of the future, of known love and kinship. There is nothing which I desire more fervently. To know you wear my ring, though at this time on a hidden chain rather than in its rightful place, drives me wild with feeling I cannot seek to control.

You hold my soul and my reason, for however long you seek.
