writeblr (re)introduction
Hi! I rebuilt my blog after months of considering and reconsidering and basically finding things to be more of a drag than I’d wanted. This isn’t necessarily a fix, but it’s hopefully helpful.
I’m Reese, I’m 27 and a nonbinary queer author who writes primarily contemporary fiction. My pronouns are they/them. I’ve been around since March or April of 2018, and I’ve been writing since I was eight or so. I’ve dabbled in all the major genres in one way or another, but I kind of landed in contemporary.
Y’all probably know me as @reeseweston. In March this year I published From the Roof of my Mouth, which is my debut novel, a contemporary new adult fiction novel. You can read more about it at the project page here or purchase it at the Amazon link here.
(A note: my royalties for the foreseeable future will be going to BLM. If you’re uncomfortable purchasing from Amazon right now, I will send an epub version directly to you if you show me a receipt of your donation!)
You can find my current projects here. I’m @/rwestonwriter on Twitter, and my website is reeseweston.com.
I’m moving soon and I work two jobs, so my time here might be a little sporadic. It’s been a while since I’ve followed new people, and I’m mostly interested in following folks who maybe don’t have a lot of interaction otherwise.
My asks and messages are always open, but know that because of my schedule I might not respond in a timely manner!

anyway I did it - @rwwriter
I’ve been considering archiving this blog and remaking. I’m still in the early stages of rebuilding out the new one, but I think that’s probably the best course of action for me after months and months of feeling more burdened by Tumblr than enlightened by it.

what are the writeblr protocols on randomly messaging people to chat/ask about their WIPs/etc? is that acceptable or frowned upon? only normal if you’re mutuals? what’s the vibe 🤔🤔🤔

I'm still offline, but: if anyone buys FROM for the foreseeable future, know that my royalties will be going towards organizations that support BLM and fund help for the people on the front line of this fight.
If you don't want to buy it and give Amazon money right now (understandable), send me a receipt of your donation to BLM/gofundmes for Black folk affected by recent events/related charities (any amount) and I will send you an epub of FROM.
