The Feminine Appearance Part 4 - Things You Might Not Notice!
We, as women, tend to focus so greatly on the macro-level details of ourselves that we end up neglecting whole other areas that may need improvement. We may not notice when something looks amiss about ourselves when focusing on so much, but it's almost certain that others around us do.
Physically, not everything has to be solely dedicated to your makeup, your hair, or your outfit. The feminine appearance has much more nuance than just how we dress.
I was inspired by a Mrs. Midwest video that I watched not to long ago that touched on this and was surprised at just what I was lacking in my self-presentation. Was it really that noticeable when I had poor posture, or I didn't do this or that?
The answer is most definitely YES. “It’s more about the way you carry yourself rather than what you look like." They are small things that you can do that can alter the way people look at you and make you much more feminine:
This one goes without saying but proper hygiene. Brush your teeth, wear deodorant, trim your nails, pluck your eyebrows, shower, and SHAVE. There's a surprising amount of women today that neglect these basic tasks.
That being said, keep these things private. You can't create the appearance of someone put together if you're clipping your nails or brushing your teeth in public.
If you aren't going to shave, wear tights or hose.
Wash your clothes or wear perfume.
Keep good posture. If you stand up straight, it tends to bring emphasis to your feminine form more, it makes you walk better, and not slouching makes you more attractive.
Keep your legs together, LITERALLY. When you sit, sit with your legs together or your legs crossed, whether at the ankles or at the knees.
"A lady is not lazy and sloppy." You have the ability to be the best you can be, so don't just stop at the big parts. The details matter as well!

My selfcare sunday/maintenance day routine

Eating clean as possible, thats a detox and light day
Wash and do a full haircare routine(pre-poo, shampoo twice, treatment, conditioner, leave-in, heat protection, style and oil)
Full body deep exfoliating
Shave just if i want to
Soft exfoliate, wash, dermaplain(shave), mosturize and layer serums for face skincare
Only loose and light clothes on that day
Fix the cuticles and paint the nails
Clean the bedroom if possible
Change bedsheets and pillow cases
Do a quick yoga session+meditation just to relax and prepare for one more week
Drink chamomile tea to calm down and sleep earlier
Gua-sha before bed
Pray thanking for another week and the beauty you've been blessed with
That's it for the day, being a hottie is a lifestyle and taking care of yourself is the prerequisite for this, luv ya🍵

Personal productivity/self love tips

Fuck the clean girl influencers that just post their perfect life, choose to be inspired by influencers who show their difficulties and help you how to really improve
Don't put extreme goals for yourself to achieve, that girl aesthetic that does everything and never fails is impossible and unrealistic, you are human
Don't waste another morning watching other people's lives instead of getting up and doing something more useful
The first thing you will do when waking up its drink a glass of water, it takes oxygen to the brain and makes you wake up faster
Focus in one goal, wanting to achieve several goals at once will make you procrastinate more and not achieve anything
Set a timer for your apps, it makes your be more aware of how much time you're spending on each app
Make a list of gifts to give yourself when you achieve a goal, it gives you motivation to achieve it faster
If you can't improve for yourself, at least improve to be a healthier person and present in the lives of the people you care about
If u can sleep 8+ hours, do it, put your phone down and sleep
Apples! They'll boost your energy and immunity so much
Self care isn't selfishness
Uninstall any app that makes you compare yourself
Don't hear people that ashame you and call you a "pick me", they're just unhappy and jealous of you because you show who you really are, love the things you love and keep being like that, don't change because someone thinks ur being "embarrassing"

YOUR RE-SET
So your life isn’t looking and feeling how you envisioned. You see the TikTok and IG girlies living that life. You dream about luxury travel, pilates on a Saturday morning, drinking overpriced green smoothies, driving a sexy car, and living your fullest most authentic life…But in comparison, you’ve grown to mostly hate spending time with your friends, you’ve out grown them and notice how much they complain about life and generally are low vibes, you’ve spent all of this months wages already, and still have 2 weeks left until payday so your bank balance is no way supporting the life you dream of, to add, your dating life is a mess not consisting of your dream guy that provides for you. No, instead it seems too much effort for him to message back, let alone take you to that sexy spa you’re dying to visit. So in short your life is a far cry from what you want. The life you’ve created right now is absolutely not what you would want for yourself for the next year, or even five years. So in order to completely shift from where you are to where you want to be. You need a fucking RE-SET. 
The re-set is basically your metamorphosis. Think of being the caterpillar, heavy, slow sluggish (currently you right now). In order to become a beautiful butterfly you need to completely transform, undo, take time to reorganise so you can re-emerge as nature intended. 
The Re-set might look slightly different for everyone so take what you need from this: 
2-3 months stepping back from the people around you. 
THE CORE ESSENTIALS FOR YOUR RESET - A DAILY PRACTISE  
Meditating daily to clear you mind so you can hear yourself, your own voice and drown out any external noise. (I recommend insight timer app, or mind app both for meditations)
A journal, to document your feelings and emotions, empty your thoughts, and a space where you can become your own best friend and create a connection with yourself. 
Movement. - you need to move your body this is KEY, you might pick up running, stretching at home, pilates, yoga, HIT, whatever it is just fucking do it. Your body needs the movement to replenish its energy and move you out of stagnation. 
Healthy diet. Less alcohol more greens. If it’s processed, if its fizzy, if its sugar, if its cake, if its chocolate, if its ice cream (you get the picture), cut that shit OUT. You need food that supports you, cleanses you, energises you in order to thrive and clear your energy. 
FAITH in something bigger than yourself. If you’re religious, great lean into your faith with prayer, scripture, faith music. If you’re not religious maybe you believe in the universe, the love all around you, faith in something unknown, something guiding you, protecting you, even if you believe this is part of your own psyche - lean into this. Your faith is your support system. Your faith is the unseen that will guide and protect you on this journey. 
The above might seem overwhelming, and it will be if you don’t already incorporate those things into your day already. The worst thing you want to do is try and do everything at once and feel disappointed when you don’t succeed. So start with one thing if that’s all you can manage and focus on doing that one thing consistently and then add from that. 
The purpose of the first 2-3 months is the cleansing. You want to start slowly removing what doesn’t serve you, and start creating space for yourself, your thoughts and visions so you have space to start planting new seeds of the life you want to live. 
What your first steps in your journey might look like: 
Saying no to going out for drinks with friends, instead you go for a long walks in nature listening to an empowering podcast, go home journal and meditate. 
Weekends might look like not seeing friends, maybe even family. Doing exercise, making healthy food, researching recipes, creating a vision board on Pinterest and doing a guiding meditation, affirmations and mirror work. 
Having a prayer practise, reading books/ passages that support you in your journey 
Deleting your social medias or even doing a detox day / weekend so you have a break

Hi guys 💞 I’m going to start a new serie on my tumblr and it’s going to be called : MY LIFE. I saw a Tiktok the other day of this girl saying that she lives everyday as if her life was a TV SHOW (with a Pilot and different seasons) and I’m HERE FOR IT! She said that making a mood board for each season helped her to visualise everything and manifest it into her life. This is the Pilot starting June 1st! home exercise tips for beginners

start with light beginner exercises
be consistent
exercise at least 3 times a week
combine home exercise with 30-minute walks or running
combine your exercise routine with cardio (at least 1 day a week since you are just starting out)
start with short exercises of 5 to 10 minutes duration.
find a routine that is perfect for you (what do you want to work on in your body?)
start and end with warm-up and/or stretching exercises (very important)
stay hydrated
maintain a good diet
exercise videos that are longer in length but work the whole body.
establish a routine (the time of day you will exercise and how much time you will dedicate to it)
look for information on the internet about different types of exercises and how to do them in a way that works the muscles.
do sport because you love your body not because you hate it 🤍

Vision Board 2023 ✨
1. Exercise: For me this means moving my body in any way, shape or form. I want to go on walks, experience nature, different places in and around my city, go on hikes. I’ve recently bought a used Crosstrainer/elliptical off of eBay - I’m going to use it 3-4 times a week to build up endurance and to simply keep my heart and therefore my entire body healthy. It has for some reason always been a little dream of mine to some day run a (half-)marathon. I am nowhere near able to do that anytime soon… But this year I’m starting to work on that!
2. Diet: I want to cook more. I want to use fresh vegetables and fruit. I want to limit fast food/sweets/processed food because I know they don’t make me feel good and they’re not contributing to my goals. I’m not saying I won’t ever eat any of those things again, but they should be an exception, not the norm. Since I also struggle with Crohn’s disease, this is a very important aspect that I have to figure out for the rest of my life. Even though the medication I’m on right now is doing a good job, I’m sure I can support my body by feeding it actual real food - and therefore also prevent future flares.
3. Self-Care: This includes skin and hair care. I have very acne-prone and oily skin, but I know that actually drinking a lot of water and religiously following a skincare routine does help a lot. Self care for me also means taking care of my mental health. I’ve always been a pretty anxious person, but this last year really hasn’t been great. I want to start journaling / writing in a diary again, as this helps me clear my head and at the same time it is a wonderful thing to look back trough my life at a later point. I also want to figure out, what it is I want to do with my life (career wise). I’m currently studying in a masters program, but as of late I’m not sure if that’s actually what I want / should be doing.
I’m going to share my journey on this blog, which will also include specific goals, daily routines, what I eat, and what I do to reach my goals. I want to lose weight (around 15 kgs / 33 lbs), feel healthier and more energized overall and become happy and content with the way I live my life. I hope you guys are along for the ride ✨

Self-care is a priority!! Skincare, alone time, reading, and so on. Don't feel bad for taking care of yourself!!
Set boundaries and learn to say no when necessary. It takes time to establish boundaries but keep making them clear!! You got this :)
Treat yourself like you would treat your best friend. Be kind, supportive, and forgiving towards yourself. Also, don't speak badly about yourself!!
Positive affirmations. "I am enough", "I deserve to be happy", "I'm the hottest person on the entire fucking planet, and everyone is madly in love with me." <3
Take care of your body, bestie!! Eat nutritious foods, get enough sleep, and stay hydrated…
Invest time in your hobbies. Keep doing what makes you happy, and make it a priority to actually make time for those things!! I've been trying to crochet a sweater; I'm going to be unstoppable once I'm done, just wait…
Avoid toxic people and situations!! Boundaries baby!! Don't waste your energy!!
Embrace cringyness. This may sound stupid, but life is so much more fun when you don't care about being cringy; also, most memorable moments are always a bit cringe!! <3
Prioritize your mental health. Journal, meditate, and go to therapy if necessary!! It's 2023, we all go to therapy; take care of yourself :)
Celebrate all your achievements and successes!! Got good grades? SLAYYY!! Made scrambled eggs? SLAYY!! Got into Harvard Law? What, like it's hard??
Remember, being your own best friend takes time, but it's worth it for a lifetime of self-love and happiness. Let's support each other on this journey!! :)
