she’s stressed out from her assignments. so she sits in his closet because his scent brings her comfort. she chokes on a sob. knees pressed to her chest. she doesn’t even hear the delicate sound of his words or even feel the softness of his hands that engulf her in his warmth. she flinches from his touch but relaxes when she realises it’s him.

‘peach..’ she untangles herself and nestles her face in the crevice of his neck. finds her home there. her safe haven. her comfort. he brushes his lips over her hair. sways her from side to side. the delicate motion warms her fragile heart. makes her melt further into him.

‘what happened?’ his honeyed voice calms her. fingers taking their time brushing through her hair.

‘too much assignments’ her voice chokes a little and he notices.

‘breath f’me’ he presses the palm of her hand against his chest. heart beat calm and breaths steady. she follows the movements of his chest and breathes at the same pace as his. ‘that’s it.. peach’.

the uneasiness in her mind dissipates. her tears brushed away with his thumb. ‘it’s all alright.. jus’ gotta breathe f’me’.

she fumbles her fingers through his curls and a weak smile appears on her face.

‘ya need to slow down.. take time for yourself too’ he presses a gentle kiss to her tear stained cheek. ‘gotta focus on yourself too’.

he slips his hand under her knees, presses the other against her back and lifts her in his arms.

‘gonna help ya relax.. yeah?’ he carries her to their bed and lays her gently on the mattress. then dips onto the bed and begins to spoon her in his arms. his soft breaths brush against the back of her neck. his hands massage her muscles and she relaxes. lets out a soft sigh and smiles.

‘all better?’ he presses a delicate kiss to her skin and holds her so close.

‘mhmm’ her frail voice breaks his heart. shatters it to a million pieces. he tightens his hold around her. secures her in his safe embrace. the warmth that radiates through his skin helps her stay calm and steady. helps to keep her mind at ease. he brushes the tip of his nose against the back of her neck and presses another delicate kiss.

‘i love you’ his words makes her heart swoon. makes her lean further into his touch. ‘so so much’.

she turns to face him. nestles into his warm touch.

‘i love you too’ she presses a delicate kiss right under his chin. he smiles at the delicate touch and presses a kiss to her head. ‘so so much too’.

after a much needed meal and bath she nestles into his embrace. falls asleep in his arms.

he’s so content to have found his soulmate.. his love.. his future.

and she is too..

No but can I just point out that at the formation lap Crofty was like "Look at Lando doing burn outs, he's purposefully laying rubber on the track for a better start😍" and Nico MF Rosberg was like ??? Absolutely not. That's not on purpose, the track is too cold for that, I would be worried if I was him. This is a bad sign for his start??? and THEN WHAT HAPPENED??? like everytime Nico leaves the commentary box you're reminded of what expert input looks like when it's missing
