            ***  ♔  ┊   spop trainee mc audition
Tumblr media
he remembers the first time he auditioned for this. he doesn't remember every time he embarrassed himself, but some managed to get a spot inside his head.
over a year after being signed, seungjoon likes to believe he knows how things work now. he doesn't know everything, but that's how the script usually goes. talking about scripts, he got one of those again. these are about as confusing as the previous ones had been. they give him a few topics he could mention and not anything else that could assist him. the difference is, of course, that the youtube channel has already made its debut. the shows he's auditioning for have already started airing. as expected of seungjoon, however, he hadn't come very prepared.
while he's learned many new groups and fewer member names, the man still doesn't find himself doing any intensive research on the idol world. he knows the latest releases because they play everywhere and he's made to learn the lyrics or the catchy choreography. had he watched any of the spop shows? yes. not many times. not all of them were interesting to him.
instead of simply doing this out of his impulsive behavior, seungjoon actually thought things through and decided that trying this out would actually provide him with something positive. what were his actual skills aside from the ones he had trained for? healing wounds? while that was very valued in real life, seungjoon soon found out that had no actual use in the idol world. while it baffled him at first, the man has come to terms with it. all those years in university and working just down the drain. makes sense.
he stands next to a trainee he's not too familiar with. these things were apparently randomized so you kind of just had to accept it. seungjoon is unsure if in this situation he's the classmate you want on your team or not.
he would think not.
"ah, hello, hello! it's a brand new day!" he turns to the trainee beside him. "do you think we will receive any visitors today?" the script continues its course like its supposed to. much like the last time he had tried this out, things go along in a similar manner. the visitors are made up. the entire scene, in some way, also is. while he can only guess it is based on the iqs show, seungjoon likes to believe their interpretation is much worse than any of its episodes. i mean, chanyeol is in it. but, of course, he had watched those few episodes because of the guests, not the mcs.
"ack!" he makes big movements, reaching for his head. "since i lost, what will be the punishment?" he's assigned a cute dance. while seungjoon isn't the type to get embarrassed by these things, people usually find it funnier if you do. he stares blankly ahead. the dread of punishment. except seungjoon is also no actor. he thinks his lack of any skill is what should make things entertaining. to make it cute, the man brings his arms in close to his body and wiggles it. "please let me win! please let me win!"

‧ ₊ ˚ ♡ OOPS!
at this point, heejins behavior is like second nature, her body moving on its own before her mind has the chance to properly catch up— her arm winds back carefully, steady as she approaches her target tactfully, the only indication that she’s drawing near coming from her nearly silent footsteps. she’d have to work harder on her sneaking skills in the future ( she’d work until not even her heartbeat could be detected ).
she’s glad there isn’t anyone else loitering in the halls alongside them, the sound of her hand slapping harshly in the back of seungjoons shoulder echoing just like she’d hoped it would. “well, look who it is,” she greets a little too happily, a smile on her lips that does nothing to hide the mischief in her eyes. a hand comes to cover her mouth quickly, brows raising to feign surprise. “oh, sorry, i didn’t mean for that to be so hard!” she doesn’t feel the need to try and act too much, not when she’s sure he’d see right through her shtick. “oops.”
“ack!” his voice follows the loud noise the slap had made on his back.  seungjoon had been calmly walking the hallways of trc—minding his own business—to the point he hadn’t even heard heejin approach him. under normal circumstances, the man would think of a million jokes on her stalking him and the undoubtful attraction she felt for him only to make her mad. instead he silently stares at her while she speaks.
his opposite hands rubs the spot where she had hit him. once she’s done, the man lets silence sit in the air for only a few seconds before slowly shaking his head. “really, heejin? you thought that was funny?” a sigh. “violence? i expected more from you...” seungjoon turns to face the smaller girl. while he’s not really much of an actor, at least he always tries his best. “think about your actions a bit next time.” he turns his back and starts walking again.

* fite me ,
maybe he shouldn’t have attended this workshop.
looking around, everyone seems to be at a novice level, or fangirls who simply had wanted to see baekhyun—not that he could blame them, either. if someone told him he’d be able to take some kind of physical lesson from katie lee, he’d have been quick to sign up for those, too. but when lecture turns to demonstration, he wonders if he’s, one, too tall to properly pair up with anyone, and, two, too inexperienced at holding back that he might accidentally overpower someone and injure them. luckily, he’d spotted a familiar face earlier before the workshop had even begun, and a grin appears on his face as he approaches seungjoon, question at his lips. “hey, wanna pair up?”
it’s not that he’s more okay with accidentally hurting seungjoon than anyone else, in fact, he thinks he’d be less likely to do so. he’s not too much shorter than chanyeol is, and whether or not he’s experienced, chanyeol thinks he’d be able to handle himself. additionally, chanyeol isn’t familiar with this particular martial arts style that baekhyun is teaching, so the playing field might as well be even between them. plus they’re already friends, so apologies between them would be easy; at least, that’s the hope—if things went wrong, which is an even bigger hope that it won’t. “promise i’ll go easy on ya,” he teases, boyish smile on his lips as he nudges the other.
when the project offered self-defense classes he didn’t think it’d be anything too serious. thinking about it again, he can’t imagine what exactly a beginner lesson for self-defense could look like without at least some body-to-body interaction. seungjoon can only hope no harm will be done to his face. he’s proud of it.
“yeah!” he replies a bit too enthusiastically. chanyeol being his partner? that’s a bit of a dream come true. some fans say their idols can step on them, and seungjoon wouldn’t even be that pissed if the other just so happened to, like, very lightly scrape his cheek. “you don’t need to go easy on me.” the smaller raises his hands as fists. of course, he never had any sort of fighting classes. seungjoon? in a fight? sounds unlikely. he couldn’t dare hurt his hands before because of his old profession. and that was, of course, the only reason.
the man starts jumping back and forth like you’d see a video game character do. “i’m quick. i’m fast. see?” less like a video game character and more like one of those weird internet birds dancing, seungjoon continues to stare at chanyeol. it’s easy to forget sometimes that he’s the older one. “it’s okay to admit you’re scared.”

jordan was usually pretty well equipped to deal with all sorts of strange encounters, but this was not one he was expecting to have inside the trc building. it almost sounded like something he would say. that was a new one. “dying sounds just a little problematic,” he offered all the same with a shrug of his shoulder, “have you made sure to get your affairs in order? write your will?”
at the gesture, he looked around the practice room they were currently standing in. “uh no, i was just poking around the place, getting a lay of the land. the dead looking body in this room just happened to catch my attention.” as he assumed it would for everyone else. it was very impossible to walk past a room you suddenly got curious about.
the question about his identity was very well warranted, he’d almost forgotten he was a new trainee and not many people would actually know who he was. “the body collector. bring out your dead,” he instead responded, raising a brow slightly at his own joke, “but you can just call me jordan. most people do, body collector hasn’t really caught on.”
“most certainly,” he agrees. he hadn’t, actually, written any type of will, but he needs to jump on the play. this is lee seungjoon we’re talking about. “one must always be prepared.”
seungjoon rolls his shoulders back to try and get anything working. he had already danced, sang, and most certainly warmed up more than once since the start of the day. no matter how much you do it, everything always ends up tired. “body collector, huh? well, this is the only body that i have right now.” he points at himself, obviously. the good news are that he isn’t actually dead and he also isn’t hiding any other bodies for the other to worry about.
“i’m lee seungjoon. uh... you can just call me seungjoon.” maybe zombie would be a nice reply, but he doesn’t actually think that’s a nice nickname to carry. yeah, he’s tired all the time, but it’s part of the job to pretend you aren’t. he’d prefer if that doesn’t catch on. “and you can use the room, of course. with me, because i am using it. in an efficient manner.”

heejin has to stop herself from pinching at the bridge of her nose, seungjoons words going right into one ear and straight of the other. “that’s—” she wants to sputter, to raise her voice and yell at him, but she knows that’s just what he’d want ( at least, that’s what she thinks he wants; a reaction, another excuse to tease her relentlessly, just as he always does, regardless of whether she actually earned it or not ). “you know that’s not how i meant it— why do i even bother with you at this point…”
willing herself to calm down, she runs her fingers through her hair, straightening out what was never messy in the first place out of habit. “you being my big brother? oh, please no— i don’t think i could live like that.” the very thought makes heejin want to shudder, imagining how many more excuses the older man would have to mess with her if they’d been blood-related. “i’m not some delicate damsel in distress, i wouldn’t need you to shield me from things. also, just so you know, i’m nineteen.”
at first, he acts hurt, as he usually does. but then, just as quickly, seungjoon changes to a surprised expression. “you’re nineteen?” he points at her face. “that’s the same age as my real younger sister. it’s like we’re meant to be. star-destined siblings, right?” seungjoon smiles because the coincidence actually makes him happy. as much as they bicker most of the time, he likes her company, and he also likes to think she enjoys his. he complains about her, but if anyone else did he wouldn’t be scared to stand up for this little girl.
“honestly, i’m not a bad big brother. i’ll always check on you. i know first-aid. i’ll make sure no other man looks at your direction.” seungjoon lists what he can think of and holds out a finger for each one. his younger sister complains about him as much as heejin does, but that can’t mean that he’s actually that bad. after all, he likes her, too. “for a small fee i can become your big brother. please consider this.”

at first he doesn’t know what to say, mouth agape, unable to form words, but eventually, he dissolves into laughter, appreciative of seungjoon’s blunt but accurate comments. he’s learned over the past (almost) year that’s just how he is, and there’s never any malice behind his words. he never usually took people’s comments to heart anyway, but there’s something almost endearing about it when seungjoon does it. “harsh,” he says once he’s able to speak again, another spurt of laughter leaving him once he does. “but true.”
he stands up, placing the camera off to the side and dusting himself off as seungjoon continues to critique his dance moves, and he has to say, as blunt as his comments are, it’s probably the most accurate he’s heard anyone describe his lack of talent in the skill. “it’s just because i haven’t committed it to muscle memory yet!” he says, jokingly trying to defend himself, but part of it is also true. he owes a lot to muscle memory when it comes to dancing. but he does need more practice and guidance, so he nods his head, eyes on seungjoon when he suggests it. “show me how it’s done, then.”
his eyes widen when chanyeol starts to laugh, but soon he’s laughing along with it. “why? why are you laughing?” and it’s clear why. he had found it funny... big score. “i’m being serious~,” he says in a mocking, whiny voice. seungjoon listen as the other tries to make up some form of excuse. instead of taking it, he gives chanyeol an unamused look and stands up. “pay attention to the master!”
seungjoon stands in the starting position of one of the more iconic looks. “in this part, while the arms are what catches the most attention, you need to move your entire leg—counting knees, and heels.” he shows what he means by doing the move slowly. “and then when you need to run the hand through your head, your torso doesn’t just simply move forward. you need to do it with like... style.” the man stops and stands back up straight. “can you do a wave?”

they say the camera adds ten pounds and, looking at himself in the video they’d just taken, he has to say it might be true, but that’s the least of his worries at the moment. no, what worries him most at this point in time is the fact that he can’t watch himself without cringing at the way he moves, because he certainly can’t call those moves dancing. that would be a disservice to the art. it doesn’t help that most everyone around him is dancing at a level so much higher than his own; he finds it hard to even look up at seungjoon, even when the video is over and he’s left staring at his own reflection on the black screen.
“okay, you can say it,” he says, finally speaking after a few moments’ silence. he’s already bad enough with silences as it is when he’s always so talkative, but when there’s an unspoken comment hanging in the air between them, it just seems so much worse. “i look like an octopus flailing its limbs around.” which is a feat, considering he only has four limbs, and an octopus has eight. “you know what, that’s an insult to octopuses. they are very intelligent creatures, and would probably be able to dance better than that if they were taught the choreography.”
“i agree,” he starts, “you don’t look like an octopus at all.” this whole dancer seungjoon thing hadn’t started too long ago, but the man is quick to put himself on a pedestal. not that his confidence is anywhere near that high. he just rolls on that fake-it-till-you-make vibes until... well, he makes it. “octopuses maybe look silly but they’re just very flexible. you’re just impressively stiff.”
chanyeol should know by now (right?) that this is the way seungjoon speaks. there are no intents to be rude or to insult anyone. seungjoon simply points out what he thinks it’s obvious. it’s better to be sincere than to sugarcoat it and then end up letting his friend (right?) continue as a bad dancer. oh, how he wishes chanyeol sees him a friend. “your arms move a lot—maybe like an octopus—but the rest is struggling to keep up. and, like... really struggling.” he presses his lips together and turns to look at the taller. “look at me do it.”

“i’m— okay!” jinwook’s smile slips only long enough to frown down at his hands. he flexes his fingers, then quickly looks back up, shaking his head. “they’re not hurt, just dirty.” his head tilts as his grin returns. “why, do you take care of people hands, too?” the rain sort of drowns it out, but it’s okay because it wasn’t really that funny. jinwook heads back to the barn and leads seungjoon to the adjacent storage room, grabbing two clean towels. his hands hesitate over his emergency hoodie hung over the shelf. he doesn’t think it matches with seungjoon’s whole doctor-y look, but it’s cozy. “do you need a change of clothes? maybe after you finish with the animals, in case they make a bigger mess.” jinwook pauses. “i meant to tell you before— this,” he gestures to their clothing, “that assa was super excited when i told her you were coming today!”
he looks down at jinwook with a smile. no matter how rainy it was, the other always had a warm personality that can make anyone happy. “i do take people’s hands sometimes.” he smiles at his own joke this time and follows his friend towards the barn. he accepts the towel and starts cleaning up whatever he sees that may be dirty.
giving a look at what else the other was offering, he looks back at the current state of his clothes. it’s not too terribly bad, and his pants never really survive an entire trip clean, but his shirt could certainly use some help. the help jinwook was offering, however, didn’t really fit the look he was going for. and, if he’d have to take a look at all the animals, he’d rather not get jinwook’s hoodie dirty while doing it. “maybe after! they can only get dirtier now, right?” he chuckles. “of course she was! she’s my favorite girl. and who wouldn’t be happy to see me, right?”

the spring has been particularly rainy this year. it’s no terrible thing for a farmer whose livelihood partly depends on rain, but the sky is overcast and the ground is oversaturated, so most days, jinwook finds himself missing the sun. “still,” he says to his favorite dairy cow, running a hand across her back, “it’s nice to see seungjoon no matter what the weather is like.” jinwook perks up as soon as he sees the veterinarian’s familiar car pull up at the farm’s entrance. “speaking of lee seungjoon!” with one last pat to her back, jinwook leaves the barn and makes his way to the gate in a light jog, ducking his head in the rain.
“i was just telling assa that you were— whoa!” just as he reaches the fence, jinwook’s foot catches in a hidden rabbit hole. he flails and lands on his hands and knees, sending a splash of mud in seungjoon’s direction. “i’m so sorry!” jinwook yelps. it takes an extra minute for him to get off the ground, between his laughter and the wet ground. the mud is fresh and heavy, clinging to his overalls in clumps. when he stands, he wipes off when he can and quickly opens the gate. “please come in, i’ll—” jinwook glances over the state of their clothing and finds a sheepish smile, his cheeks flushing. “i can get you a towel right away!”
it’s raining and he’s driving, and all he can really think about is how he’ll get his feet dirty and then right back into the car. this is why you should just never wash your car. what’s the point of it? when you live in a town like this, it’d never look sparkling new, even under a rain like that. what takes the frown off his face from having to slowly maneuver his way into the farm is spotting jinwook there to welcome him.
after a quick check that his bag was properly closed, he takes it and leaves the car to greet his friend. “hi!” seungjoon jogs carefully towards the fence when the expression on his face quickly goes back to upset. “jinwook!” the other is found on the wet floor, now even dirtier than his shoes would be at the end of the day. “are you okay?” he hurries to the other side once the path is opened and gives his friends a one-over before taking the chance to look at himself. his usually white clothes don’t look as clean as before. seungjoon smiles at jinwook with a chuckle. “i think i’d like that. are your hands not hurt?”

over the first couple of days inside the trc building, jordan had been taking all the time he could to have a proper poke around the place. work out where everything was and the quickest ways to get from one place to another just in case he got held up or was running late. not that he was planning on showing up late at all, but you could never really know with the subway system and how traffic could be when he caught the bus so he thought it better to be safe than sorry.
he liked to think he had a more or less decent layout of the whole place in his head by now. he knew how to get to the cafeteria, the bathrooms, the main practice rooms and of course where the ceo’s office was (not that he wanted to really be hanging around there for any reason). but there were still some places he wasn’t all too familiar with, some practice rooms he hadn’t stepped a foot in yet. which was now he was taking the time to go and actually check them out and see if he could find something interesting. not that he was expecting to, they were just some practice rooms and no doubt would be like all the others he had been in.
mostly he was correct, besides the fact one of them seemed to contain a dead looking body.
pushing open the door, he was somewhat relieved that the body wasn’t actually dead, though was still giving the guy a rather strange look as he stood up, face mostly covered by his hood. “if you’re plan is to scare people off, you’re doing a rather good job at that,” he just responded pretty idly, stepping more into the room and letting the door close behind him. “you know, i was just checking you weren’t actually dead or something.”
he looks at the boy up and down and then rolls back his shoulders. no one important. he doesn’t really know everyone who is important, and his thoughts aren’t trying to be rude, but the kid couldn’t be anything more than someone like him. “well, i’m nearly there, i think.”
with one hand through his hair, the hood falls back down, and seungjoon grunts. wishing for some peace doesn’t always mean you’ll get it. and he feels bad for this random kid. he’s usually very energetic and welcoming, but who wouldn’t be tired after a long week of non-stop training? “what about you? do you want to dance?”
seungjoon points at the room they’re in, just kinda a big circle to englobe everything. they are in a practice room, after all, and usually, you’re meant to do that: practice. and if the boy asked he had been doing that. he 100% only stop now to rest. he just couldn’t get to close to spot the lack of sweat. “...who are you, if you don’t mind me asking?”

“well, maybe if you stopped thinking of me as a child at all times and, instead, saw me as the young woman i am, you wouldn’t seem so surprised when i say anything insightful or smart,” her eyes narrow slightly, regarding him with muted annoyance and a huffed sigh as she speaks. “don’t get too big a head, your neck has to be strained enough as it is.”
heejin doesn’t necessarily hate the smug expression that crosses his features almost immediately after she’s spoken, but she does definitely has to restrain herself from reaching over and giving his arm a solid pinch. “don’t think i’m saying you’re bad, i just—” she stumbles over her words a bit. despite the playful quips they always threw at one another, heejin never actually wanted to make him feel bad or hurt him. “—i’ve never really seen you dance before, so i didn’t know if you were good or not, that’s all.”
watching him move about so dramatically where he’s sat next to her, heejin watches in horror as one of his arms come incredibly close to bumping into her bowl of rice, an arm shooting out as soon as he’s out of range to move it over to a safer spot on the table. “watch it,” she hisses between his words, eyes finding his form again. “i guess they’re really pushing you guys, then. i’ve got no moves that are super eye-catching or out there, so i mainly just have to worry about my expressions when i’m center.”
with a brow raised, heejin regards the older man with a blank look. “cute? i wouldn’t go that far, but you do something look like you’ve got your head in the clouds. put that brain of yours to use and do you’re best, mister i never failed anything.”
it’s hard for him not to laugh. it’s because he’s already laughed enough, probably, and she sounds so serious talking like this. seungjoon’s mission for the time is to chew and try not to choke while heejin calls herself a young woman.
“well, it’s not like i’ve seen you dance a lot either, heejin. there is nothing to be ashamed about, but there’s a lot to be disappointed with. you’re missing a show!” he nods along with his last statement. “we should, like, hold a dance-off some time. but i don’t think you will because you know i’m going to win. so i’ll save you the time thinking about that.”
when she’s not trying to sell herself and returns to a bratty attitude, seungjoon doesn’t want to laugh at her anymore. it’s when heejin turns on her annoying little sister mode and he’s already had enough of that during his lifetime. “i didn’t do anything—” the man manages to squeeze in between his speech after she complains. he still takes her turn to chew some more, this time with his arms close to his sides.
he pouts and looks over at her. “you don’t think i’m cute?” to help her visualize, seungjoon uses his free hand in a tiny fist and places it below his cheek. “what about now? you can’t deny it.”

it takes him more time than he would have liked it to. there are a lot of remixes and mashups on the internet—some terrible while others are properly good. that means spending most of his free hours and more than a day looking for the perfect song. seungjoon ends up choosing some and starting to practice, but then going back and trying to find something better. he’d rather not ask for help this time and settle for something by himself for once.
something about how late it was and how tired he felt made the very first time he heard it be even more magical. after a good night of sleep, listening to the song again still felt good, so he takes that must be it.
the original song was performed by women—both the actual original song and the remix—so he struggles to find his voice. it’s something he’s still learning to do so it’s only after a few days that seungjoon asks for help from the coaches to modify the song in his favor. once that’s out of the way, he focuses on making up for the lost time. there wasn’t too much left.
of course, he’s seungjoon, so over-shooting for something is in his nature. he tries to learn the choreography at first to go along with the music, and it takes him a couple of days to realize that’s a terrible idea—but hey! that’s a new dance on his repertoire.
he doesn’t actually play any instruments, and the remix had been done by someone else, but he’s still proud of it. it’s nerve-wracking standing in front of the coaches every time, but it’s good to know they’re checking up on them. and that they still decide to keep him for one other month. it’s good for his ever-growing ego. and he may not have been born in the 80s, but seungjoon is sure he could rock anything.

the challenge was to make something your own, but that is something seungjoon still struggles with. he knows what types of songs he likes to listen to, but what exactly does idol seungjoon like to portray? does he need to make a second identity for this, or is his mind already thinking of anything else rather than what he needs to focus on?
it takes him some time to realize it’s actually the second option. by the time he realizes he hadn’t actually achieved anything, the man is already neck-deep on building different versions of himself online. he saves all the photos to his gallery and, with a heavy heart, closes picrew for the night. time to be a responsible adult.
what exactly does he like to perform? all the times before (for previous evaluations) the songs he had to sing and dance to were either given by the company or a suggestion from a coach or friend. it reminds him of his original audition. back then, he had asked doyum for some help regarding any popular groups the kids were into. after his suggestion of tooice, amongst many others, the perfect audition song ended up being a remix.
while dancing was his newfound passion and one he’d like to explore a bit more before getting the confidence to say it out loud, he decides to reflect on the times before. instead of finding something that’d feel very end-of-the-movie-esque, with him twirling and jumping while a montage of all the times he suffered to do basic moves played over him, he could take a step back.
what would ever be more him than something inspired by who he was at the very start?

for as much as she’d love to drone on and on about how much the older man annoyed her, about how she absolutely loathed the instances in which he’d seek her out just to see how quickly he can max out her annoyance meter, heejin would never be able to deny how much more bland things would be if he wasn’t someone she knew. he’s a nuisance, an annoyance, and an absolute hinderance any time she tried to do something productive, but seeing as he could be way worse than he already was, he was one she wouldn’t trade ( though he would never have the satisfaction of hearing her admit that to him allowed— he already had more than enough to hold over her head, towering height aside ).
“my day definitely isn’t boring anytime you’re around…so i guess you could say i missed you.” she’ll give him that, a brow raised as she gives in a leveled look, hoping to mask that conceding grin she wants to give.
his revelation, however, wipes any trace of fondness she’d managed to grow right out of the window, mouth agape, brows furrowed deeply. “you’re center for two dance breaks? you, seungjoon?” it would be complete news to her, but….was seungjoon really that good of a dancer? in comparison to her, who’s center parts were a little scattered and on the shorter side given her lack of experience with dance in comparison to the other girls, knowing he was technically better than her was a shock. well, at least it showed her he was seemingly holding his own to be acknowledged like this.
“maybe they’re putting you to the test— give you showy parts to see if you can handle them in the future,” she quips, another bite of rice being shoved into her mouth. “is you’re routine, like, intense?”
“wow, that’s a much bigger confession than i had expected from you, heejin.” her days are boring without him? how old does she think she is to try being poetic? she should be saying things like you’re totally pog, not cringe. “well, i guess you brighten my day too, or however you want it to be.”
once she reacts to his set of news, seungjoon simply nods with a cocky look on his face. that’s right. feed him what he wants. and while the younger girl starts on with her own set of arguments, the man takes the moment to chew on some more food. it’s not as good as the one back in trc, but he’ll take it. “don’t act that surprised.” at some point, it’d end up hurting his feelings. but it doesn’t yet. this is much more amusing than anything else.
“intense?” he exclaims, rather loudly, and with food in his mouth. “wow, heejin, you have no idea.” he swallows and—still holding onto his chopsticks—starts gesticulating. “i have to do like tricks and, if some choreographies use the entire stage, then this one is just one step away from climbing the walls, even. it’s not like bigstar had such tough choreographies, right?” he wouldn’t know. “and maybe you’re right, but i’m not going to fail any tests. i did very well in school, you know?”
due to his personality, the image that comes with it may give him the reputation of a fool, but seungjoon is much more than that. “i may look like your typical cute airhead trope, but i went to a science-focused high school and everything. never failed anything. did you know that?”
