I have to say, this is one of the the most brutal betrayals I've seen in any media in a while. Oh there was some foreshadowing Zeno had some ulterior motives, and it was clear he wanted his immortality to end. But it was always contrasted with how much he seemed to care about and look after his companions.

I expected Zeno and Yona might have different goals at some point. What I wasn't expecting was the emotional gut punch that was Zeno attempting to ritually kill three of his companions in a convoluted attempt at suicide and then saying it was so insignificant a betrayal he couldn't bother to remember it

I will not be able to get behind Yona's plan unless they reveal that somehow that archer guy who was gonna carry the execution was somehow her ally... because what the heck do Argila and Vold mean by they were just waiting for Mei-nyan to be away from baldie to rescue Yona? If Mei-nyan had hesitated for just a little, Yona would already have been shot dead and their plan would be moot... there's no way they could stop that arrow once shot, and from thee way things look he doesn't seem to be an ally, since he's clearly an enemy soldier that would be recognized by the people around them; meaning Yona, Argila and Vold counted on the sole fact that Mei-nyan would jump in for Yona to rescue them both...... ALSO WHAT KIND OF SECURITY DOES BALDIE HAVE?? two guys just infiltrated his closest most trusted bodyguard circle and he couldn't even tell? this is why having your secret assassin squad wear masks and a cloak even around you is a stupid idea because how can you confirm their identity??
