Sal is a very understanding and patient person and that definitely makes him one of the best partners to have with a blind significant other! He himself even has visual impairments so he totally understands having to navigate the world with said impairments. While he only lacks eyesight on one side it definitely affects his depth perception so he is always worried for you when it comes to you stepping off a curb or sitting down just from his own experience. Even if you have a cane or even a seeing-eye dog he's still going to try and guide you himself out of habit unless you specifically ask him not to. If you were to ask him to give you some space he'd back off immediately but still somewhat hover nearby just in case. He knows you can handle yourself but it's just in his instinct to want to help. Poor bby. He'd definitely be the one to ask for accommodation for you in restaurants, stores, etc. He's also always subconsciously looking for things that may help in your everyday life like he will be at a store and if he sees a device or anything specifically made for the visually impaired, he's grabbing it for you and if you don't want it he'll keep it for himself anyway! He also is sure to let the gang know about your disability, just in case he's not around and you needed assistance they'd be able to help you as well. Overall, Sal is definitely going to understand the most out of anyone!

Sal and Larry with a S/O who has tics:

Sal: At first, it's going to really startle him. He has a lot of trauma so I really feel like loud noises and sudden movements really startle him. Now, he does grow used to it after a while and will silently watch you during class as your tics really start showing. He's very attentive when they flare up and tries to stay close by for that reason. If any of your tics cause you to hurt yourself like hitting yourself, banging your head on a table/wall, etc, he will be sure to place his hand on the table or your forehead before you can hit your head on anything or yourself. He really seems to be in tune with your behaviors leading up to your tics coming on.

Larry: So, it takes Larry by surprise when your tics first come about while around him. His reactions are so dramatic like you whistle next to him in class? He's jumping three feet in the air in his seat. He tries to acclimate himself, he really does and he actually does! It takes him a little bit longer to do so, but that's just Larry. He still gets startled every now and then, cursing in surprise when you slam your fist down on your desk. It's quite comical to see, actually. As much as I'd like to believe he'd be like Sal in the sense of being quick enough to help if your tics caused you to harm yourself, he wouldn't be. Mans is always staring off into space but he is always there to check on you and help in any way he can. He'd do little things like sliding his bundled-up hoodie or his backpack in front of you so you didn't hurt your hands or any other part of yourself.
