if you think - Alice - only offers their pets to people with high quality art, you're wrong. she does it to everyone, and i doubt she has any intention of actually using her valuable pets to pay for art. i literally went to school for art, i know my shit is good, and she tried to offer a few rares for a fully rendered scene and then told me my "art style wasn't what she was looking for" when i linked her my prices

you might be getting upset over nothing. I found that post on the pregnancy thread and the reason the person said they felt sad and upset and less connected to their baby was that they didn’t get to hold them right away. like I guess the necessity of extra medical care meant that the doctor passed the child off to bathing before letting the parents hold and connect. the lack of natural birth didn’t seem to be related at all. maybe don’t stress about a stranger’s life and emotions like that

encounters with - Alice - and other similar users are what made me stop taking pet commissions on cs. “waving them over your head” is a perfect description of how these people will talk to you. they’ll say the store pets or whatever are reserved for high quality art and then offer you commons and uncommons and it feels so gross, like they’re taunting you. like they definitely understand what fraction of a fraction a common is of a store pet’s value and then act like your best pieces are only worth that. just tell me you’re not interested fr I’d rather be told that than be presented with such an insulting lowball

I remember once someone put a while bunch of info about their 3yr old on that thread. Stating his name, age, etc.. it got taken down quick but still seemed a little weird

Second site is bit more iffy to dig up since it also has big flightrising sell and buy threads but not impossible either.
