1. Duolingo: Possibly one of the most popular apps out there, Duolingo comes highly recommended for beginners. With just 20 minutes every day, you can learn English little by little by playing short games. Based on different topics, you can learn up to seven new words per topic and you gain skill points after completion of lessons.

2. HelloTalk: HelloTalk is one of the more interesting English learning apps. It uses a social network of sorts to teach. You pair up with other individuals. They teach you their language and you teach them yours. The exchange helps with conversational English, vocabulary, and even grammar. The app supports over 100 languages and also includes voice calls, video calls, text messages, picture messages, and audio messages.

3. Memrise: the focus of Memrise is to learn English words, more than anything else. It uses humour to help you memorise the words in question. Surely, if something is funny, you will be sure to remember it better. The Memrise courses are also created and designed by other users like yourself, which makes it a really friendly, true-to-form experience.

4. Egrammar: Egrammar is helpful for teaching and learning English grammar. This app is considered as a miniature English grammar book. It covers 17 major grammar topics and over 100 detailed lessons with clear, understandable explanations, and many interesting illustrative examples.

Đây là những app mình đã và đang sử dụng, mình thấy chúng giúp ích rất nhiều cho việc tự học tiếng Anh. Mọi người có thể tham khảo 1 vài app dưới đây:

1. 𝐃𝐮𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐨: Chắc chắn ai học tiếng Anh cũng biết đến app này. Nó là app học ngôn ngữ được yêu thích nhất hiện nay. Duolingo chủ yếu hướng đến học từ vựng, ngữ pháp cơ bản và diễn đạt các câu đơn giản, với thời lượng ngắn chỉ cần 15 phút mỗi ngày. Do đó, nó phù hợp với các bạn mới bắt đầu học hơn là các bạn muốn học nâng cao.

2. 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞: 1 app nữa vô cùng quen thuộc với dân học ngoại ngữ. Em này chuyên về học từ vựng với nhiều bài tập đa dạng, kết hợp giữa chơi và học giúp việc học không bị nhàm chán và ghi nhớ tốt hơn. Điểm cộng của Memrise là kho từ vựng rất phong phú, và người dùng có thể tự tạo chương trình học cho chính mình.

3. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡: Em này có thể khá lạ lẫm với nhiều người, nhưng mình thấy nó khá hay và bạn nên thử. App này được thiết kế chuyên để học từ vựng, kết hợp giữa việc học và chơi. Với phiên bản cũ tên Vocabulary Quiz, từ vựng được chia thành các chủ đề, học và chơi thông qua hình ảnh, các thẻ từ vựng. Phiên bản mới Learn English mình thấy tối ưu hơn rất nhiều. Em nó có thêm phần học qua video và các video này đều từ Ted Talk, Ted Ed, … khá bổ ích vừa học được thêm từ mới, vừa mở rộng kiến thức. Phần My Vocab cũng khá hay, người học có thể tự thêm từ vựng và tạo quiz để chơi.

4. 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤: Em này hỗ trợ hơn 100 ngôn ngữ và tính năng trò chuyện trực tiếp với người bản ngữ. Người học có thể kết nối với những người bản địa để trò chuyện giọng nói, chat và sử dụng các công cụ chuyển ngữ dễ dàng. Hiện tại, app này cũng đã hỗ trợ giao diện tiếng Việt.

5. 𝐇𝐢𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞: Mình thấy hầu hết những bạn từng đi du học khi chia sẻ kinh nghiệm học tiếng anh thì đều giới thiệu app này. Đây là ứng dụng hỏi đáp về ngôn ngữ, bạn có thể hỏi những điều liên quan đến ngôn ngữ bạn đang học với người bản ngữ và ngược lại. Đây là cộng đồng lớn, ngoài ngôn ngữ ra bạn có thể trao đổi thông tin, chat chit tám chuyện với bạn bè bốn phương.

6. 𝐎𝐱𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐲: 1 cái tên quen thuộc với tất cả mọi người kể cả những người không học tiếng Anh. Từ điển Oxford do Nhà xuất bản Đại học Oxford xuất bản được coi là từ điển tiếng Anh đầu tiên, đồ sộ và uy tín nhất thế giới. Hiện nay nó đã có bản di động miễn phí. Nó cung cấp nghĩa đa dạng và có thể giúp người dùng hiểu sâu, chính xác và đáng tin cậy, là kho dữ liệu nguồn tiêu chuẩn của tất cả các ứng dụng từ vựng khác. Bạn có thể học từ vựng với phát âm chuẩn Anh – Anh, tuy nhiên với những bạn muốn học theo chuẩn Anh – Mỹ thì đây có thể là 1 khuyết điểm. Em nó giải thích nghĩa hoàn toàn bằng tiếng Anh nên sẽ khó khăn cho những bạn mới bắt đầu hoặc không kiên trì trong việc dịch nghĩa.
