[Showers] When taking a shower, does your hair become straight or is it still somewhat curly (if your hair is curly)? It gets a little wavy, sometimes. When my hair is dry, it’s straight. What kind of shower/bath would you have if you could have any shower/bath in the world? A bigger one, with a detachable shower head and a sleek look. Do you use expensive or cheap shampoos, and does it matter either way? I use a special one for my dandruff/plaque psoriasis. I can’t use normal shampoos. What kind of shower head do you have? Just...a regular one. Do you ever burn your skin while taking a shower? Not anymore. I’m used to the scorching heat by now. [Toxic Relationships] Have you ever been in a relationship (romantic or not) that was considered toxic, and who was that person and how were/are they toxic to you? Yeah. She was emotionally abusive. She was 7 years older than me and was a pathological liar. First lied about her identity, then her past, and so on. And she got angry at me so easily and told me she enjoyed it. Do you know anyone who has been in a toxic relationship, and what made that relationship toxic? Yeah. Took advantage of his youth and played with his emotions by asserting power. How you do feel about people going back to their toxic relationships, and can you relate or do you find them dumb for ever considering to go back? I can’t relate because I never looked back but I get it. It’s like an addiction. It doesn’t feel right but you can’t stop. And then the person promises they’ll be better and you believe them because you want to see the best in them. So I don’t find them dumb but ill-informed. What kind of toxic relationships do you find more damaging: Romantic, friendship, or family member? To say all is an easy way out. I have to say family. You’re born out of your mother’s womb and are naturally expected to be cared for and loved, it’s animal anatomy. If you are mistreated or abused by family as a kid it impairs you for life. That’s how so many criminals have been formed. Now, out of these options, which do you find the most damaging: Physical, emotional, or verbal? Physical. Of course, because there are safety risks. Is popularity a social disease? It depends. With politicians and such, it can become a disease. A disease that costs us all. Would you want to be a hippie? Yes!!! I’m really open-minded and I love reggae and different colours...I’ve thought about retreating into the hippie lifestyle before, not gonna lie... In college, were you ever given exams with extremely broad and deep questions such as, 'Why?' or 'What is truth?' I’m in college right now. I had a philosophy class, but I had to withdraw from it, so...yeah... Have you knowingly destroyed an endangered plant or animal? No. Actually, I don’t know which plants are endangered, so maybe unknowingly for plants... Did your parents bronze your first pair of baby shoes? I have no clue. I wear a lot of band t-shirts. I wear a lot of black. I like wearing skirts and dresses with Converse. People at my school often copy my style. I love jeans. I dress the way I want to, I don’t care what anyone thinks about my style. Wearing clothes I like gives me a lot more confidence. I don’t really look to anyone else for style ideas. Category Two: General Appearance Something about my appearance is very unique and distinct. I have more than one birth mark. I have very tanned skin. I tan extremely easily in the summer. I am skinny. But I have curves. I wear glasses. I have my father’s eyes. My self-esteem has been getting much better. People have told me straight up that they are jealous of my body - and it feels good to get compliments like that. I don’t spend a lot of time getting ready - I basically look the way I do when I wake up. Category Three: Annoyances I hate when people are overly cocky and arrogant. I hate when people make assumptions - they’re normally totally off. When I’m standing in line at a cash or something, I hate when people stand practically on top of me. It doesn’t make the line move any faster! I strongly dislike when I get excess lotion or water in between my fingers, and I don’t really understand why. If someone pisses me off enough, I’m not shy to tell them off. If someone is asked to stop doing something more than once, I feel it’s okay to start yelling at them. I hate hypocrites - but I can be a hypocrite myself sometimes. I hate people who act like know-it-alls. And I hate it even more when it’s a subject I know more about than them. I absolutely hate when people try to drag me into their pathetic drama. My number one pet peeve is when someone has too many pet peeves. Category Four: Surveys I find it stupid when people take the tags off surveys, but survey makers who go as far as making a “hate list” for all those who do it are just assholes themselves. I think I may have a serious addiction to surveys… Oh well! If you’re going to insult me directly more than once while taking a survey I made, then don’t even bother taking my survey. In a way I’m a hypocrite for saying that, because if there’s no tag on the survey, then I will call the survey maker an idiot and whatnot, if I seriously feel they are and if I’m in that bad of a mood. (*rolls eyes*) I’d be a millionaire if I got paid to do this! Why do survey makers insist on having a certain number of comments and subscribers before they make another survey? This is for fun, it isn’t a business, and you aren’t making money off of it, so why are you being so anal about communication with your survey-takers? I don’t see the point in lying on surveys. Why take them if you aren’t going to tell the truth? Category Five: Things I Seriously Love Coffee, and caffeine in general. The show Pawn Stars. Feeling good about myself. Encouraging other people to stay positive and be strong. Tattoos and piercings. Anthropology, sociology, and psychology. Making and taking surveys. Dreadlocks. Rain and thunderstorms. Music, of course. Random, interesting facts. Category Six: Music I can play piano. I can play bass. I can sort of play guitar. I listen to music every day. I own at least three instruments. I still buy CDs. I really want to learn to play drums. I wouldn’t mind learning to play the violin as well. Practically everyone in my family can play some sort of instrument. I used to take dance lessons. Category Seven: Photography I own a FujiFilm camera. I take walks so I can take pictures. I have a folder on my computer of pictures I’ve taken. I love taking pictures of fireworks. I also love taking pictures of nature. One of my favorite settings on my camera is macro. I have a blink detector on my camera. My camera takes amazing, bright, vivid photos. I want to make a photo album of pictures that I’ve taken. I wouldn’t mind being a photographer. I don’t know what I would do without my (phone) camera. Category Eight: Relationships & Friendships I have serious trouble keeping lasting friendships. But I have no trouble keeping a lasting romantic relationship. Those two don’t directly relate to each other - I don’t ditch my friends for my partner, ever. I have been in a relationship for almost two and a half years. It is my first relationship. I have only ever kissed one person. My partner and I have been in a band together. In my opinion, friends are for socializing, not relying on for rough times. I love going out with friends. I have been in a band with all my best friends before. I have been verbally and psychologically abused by friends before. I have punched one of my friends in the face.

1. Do you have a nice yard? If so, do you spend a lot of time outside in it? If not, where do you go when you want to relax outdoors on nice days? We don’t have a backyard. It’s just this very small space with a stone fountain thing, wind chimes, and a hose. You can see into the house from it. There’s hedges running along it. But yeah, no yard. You couldn’t even fit an eighth of a pool inside it. I found a loophole when I was younger that if you shove yourself under the hedges, you can enter and see everyone else’s backyards. It was fun to spy with my friends. My favourite way to unwind outside is to take walks. My development is an outstanding one to take walks in; it’s pretty much like it was made for that. I’ll take a walk, listen to music, look at the nature. Sometimes I’ll sit on one of the benches and look at the lake.

2. Is there a group of friends that you used to hang out with but no longer do? Why don’t you hang out anymore and how do you feel about them now? Yeah. I still hang out with one of them...kind of. Well, I’m friends with him. I don’t really hang out with anyone anymore, and it’s my choice. Hanging out with people just stresses me out and I can never have fun doing it as a result. The other one went to university and started ghosting me in favour of the “cooler kids.”

3. Do your parents enjoy any of the things that you enjoy? Do you bond over these things? My dad and I...we both love Italian food? I can’t really think of what we have in common interest-wise. We bond over Italy a lot. And he loves linguistics and foreign accents too. I’ve gotten my mom into Eurovision a bit. She kind of enjoys it. She says she gave it a try because she wants to be closer to me. But she actually wound up enjoying it a bit. We also both like reading, writing, and traveling.

4. Did you ever say or ask something that you assumed was a neutral subject, but the person you were talking to became offended and you had no idea why? So many times. I have little to no EQ. So I spill my mind way too often without weighing the consequences beforehand. It’s one of my biggest issues that’s been plaguing me from the time I was a child.

5. What is the movie that you have waited the longest for/which film do you remember anticipating the most/are still anticipating? I was really anticipating The Disaster Artist. I never got to see it in theatres, but I torrented a theatre rip right after the movie closed out and I quite enjoyed it. It did pretty good justice to Tommy and The Room. And I was proud when it won a Golden Globe.

6. Do you have any ideas for a story or movie you’re planning to write or you’d write if you got the time/had the talent? Please share a synopsis! Too many ideas. I’ve started so many and finished none. I want to create something avant-garde, though. Something that’s never been seen or read or heard before. I think I’d be really good at directing a film. When I’m on the writing side, though, I always feel like what I’ve written sucks or isn’t good enough. Which, yes, it probably actually does suck. With me, the ideas are always there, but the execution always isn’t.

7. Do you ever feel like anyone is “out of your league” or does that concept not make any sense to you? What do you do when you’re attracted to someone but find them out of your league? I don’t know. I think my personality and intellect are pretty high in the market, but physically, I leave a lot to be desired. Physically, I’d definitely say most people are out of my league. It’s why I can never get a date whom I haven’t met online. My physical appearance is very unkempt. I could change that, but it wouldn’t be genuine for me. So yeah, the question isn’t if it happens. It always happens. Even when I know the feeling isn’t reciprocated (which is all the time), I still confess to every single crush I have, because why not?

8. What is something that an interested guy/girl could comment about you, that would make you instantly open to them (e.g., “That book you’re reading is from my favorite author”)? You have an interesting/beautiful mind/way of thinking about things.

9. Do you refer to yourself by any sort of fan nickname (Belieber, Little Monster, etc.)? Haha, even just in these past few days, I’ve accrued two new ones: Melovinators and Nemra Planet. I’ve lost track, LMAO.

10. Do you ever just get lazy and give up on your friendships? Well, I mentioned before that I don’t like hanging out with people. But even past that, I’d love to keep in touch, but keeping in touch is impossible for me. I ALWAYS forget to message people first, and people take it personally, which they have the right to. Even if I don’t want to hang out, I don’t want those friendships to disintegrate, but since I’m so bad at texting first, it happens sometimes.

11. Is there a person in your life (maybe barely) that you feel in constant competition with (even just in your imagination)? Maybe you feel they are consistently outshining you. A lot of my online friends who are constantly traveling to the places where their hearts desire. I’m not quite there yet, but I’ll get there someday. Lisboa in May is a big start.

12. If you are single, even if you are normally happily single, are there certain specific things you witness that make you wish you were in a relationship (e.g., people getting engaged)? Being able to be touched and kissed softly...not fucking, just touching and kissing.

13. What sort of situations make you feel most self-conscious or inadequate? Are there any people or places that just make you want to crawl into a hole? If you can’t think of anything specific, can you remember the last time (or any time) you felt this way? This is the story of my life. Every time I leave my house and every time I don’t leave it. It never stops. Although, I wouldn’t call it self-consciousness. Just a constant nervous escapist energy.

15. Are there any cities near you that you’re afraid to go to because of the crime rate or its other bad reputations? It’s not really crime, but I don’t like going to Lake Worth because it tends to attract trashier people and it’s kind of dumpy. No offense to anyone who lives there.

16. If you went to camp as a kid, was it a pleasant experience? Do you think that all kids should be able to go to camp? If you didn’t go to camp, do you feel like you kind of missed out on something? I only went to day camp, which I don’t really count. I never went to sleep-away camp because I had separation anxiety from my parents, and I don’t regret not going. I’m not a social person at all so team activities and things like that would be my nightmare. Uncomfortable living conditions, limited methods of communication, strict schedule...I don’t see the appeal at all. I do wonder how it might’ve been. But I’m still happy I didn’t go. I know I would’ve hated it anyway.

17. Do you grandparents ever judge you or stick their heads in your business? If not, is there someone else in your life you dread seeing because of their unwanted input? My maternal grandma is the only grandparent left in my life. She’s really cool and liberal for a grandma, minus her “you may change your mind when you’re older.” Even though she says that, she does accept me for who I am, but can be a bit (OK, very) passive-aggressive sometimes. But yeah, she’s not homophobic or anything. And yes to the second part -- my mom. But I live with her.

18. Have you ever spent the whole day (or multiple days) just looking up one thing on the internet (e.g., videos of your favorite band, how-to videos, quizzes, etc.)? This is literally all I ever do. I have..like..spurts when I browse the web. Today was a language-learning day.

20. Are you happy with where you currently live? If not, what don’t you like about the area and do you plan on leaving? I would never want to stay here my whole life. I’m getting my AA here before I go to university up north, and this is the town and neighbourhood I’ve grown up with my whole life thus far. However, this is a nice place to live just for that. It’s clean, there’s low crime, and it’s only a short drive to some decent cities. But no, Florida is not my future. I’m gonna go to uni in New York or Boston, and then I’m getting out of the COUNTRY.

21. If someone told you that we live in a society that hates women, how would you respond? Society is hating women less and less by the day, but there still is a lot of hatred against us, and I don’t know if it will ever disappear completely.

22. When was the last time you were on a boat? Whose boat was it, and what were you doing? Years ago. Taking a tour on vacation. I’ve never been on a cruise ship, and I don’t have the desire to. Cruises don’t actually let you explore the travel destination. It’s just a moving luxury hotel, which is a waste to me.

23. Have you ever been completely blindsided by a break-up or have you sort of felt all of your relationships deteriorating before they ended? If you would prefer not to answer, what is the last instance you can remember being totally blindsided by news you heard? I knew I was gonna break up with my ex long before I did. I realized what a crap human and what a liar she was, and...I couldn’t hold it in any longer. And then after I did it, a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders.

24. Can you remember the last thing you thought and subsequently thought, “wow, I really shouldn’t be thinking that”? I would have a threesome with Nemra’s frontman and the female member. HAHAHAHA!!!
