Exhaling softly as your husband manuevered his appendages through your [hair-color] tufts, you costively opened your heavy lidded oculars to perceive your toddler-Sabito-entertaining himself by crawling around on his modest futon. His ebony tresses were gathered with a meager metal hairpin, as to not get in his [eye-color] hues. ‘He’ll have hair just like his father.’ you thought blithely, redirecting you’re gaze to said man from your current position, resting on his thigh.

His hair that was normally pulled into a ponytail now rested around his back and shoulders-framing his face. An uncharacteristic smile graced his features as he watched your son attempt to place his foot in his mouth-babbling contentedly, rolling onto his back. “He’s going to look just like you in a few years.” you stated quietly, laughing as he looked down at you with a flushed face. 

Regaining his composure and glancing back upwards, he replied with “I doubt that, the only thing we have in common is our hair. He’s most likely going to favor his beautiful mother.” Feeling your own [skin-color] cheeks begin to heat up at his own teasing, you began to mentally scold yourself. ‘We’ve been married for nearly three years.’ you thought, raising a hand to your forehead exasperatedly. ‘How is he still making me feel like this?’ 

Your thoughts were soon interrupted as Giyuu grasped your wrist and raised your hand to his lips-placing a chaste kiss on your knuckles. Moving to a sitting position and placing a hand on his cheek, you let out a barely audible “I love you.” before moving to place a kiss on his cheek, that is before the two of you were broken apart by a boisterous “Bah!”

Looking back towards the futon, Sabito was now nearing your lap, in which you scooped him up into your arms, giggling as he chattered incoherently-clearly happy to be receiving some attention. Giyuu then pulled you to sit in his lap, wrapping an arm around your waist. Watching as his two favorite people interacted with each other, he began to wonder to himself with a smile. ‘How could he have ever gotten so lucky?’

Notes: It’s not exactly what you asked, but I hope it still makes you smile because I loved writing this.  Like, I’m loving these AU’s as much as you, anon.

You carried a tray of tea and some snacks that Masamune had left over towards the sparring room.  You still didn’t like the idea of fighting but remaining in the Sengoku meant that fighting was a necessity.  After all, “benevolence indulged beyond measure sinks into weakness,” was an often heard phrase of his.  Not to say he didn’t lose his cute and fun ways.  Oh no, Masamune felt that being too correct and hard was just as bad, “Rectitude carried to excess hardens into stiffness,” a good companion to his earlier statement.  Hence, he’d taken Hidemune to train under the guise of games.

I wish I could have had this all done sooner, but this chapter kicked my ass. Oh my lord, I had so much trouble translating this chapter. It was honestly frustrating. I went over sentences more than once trying to make sense of what was written and being said. Anyways, parts marked with asteriks are translations that I’m not sure about. Seriously, if anyone can correct me, please do so. If anything, enjoy the beautiful panels and Mika-sensei’s amazing art!

IkeSen manga chapter 16

Hello everyone! I was finally able to get my hands on the September issue, and with this I bring you the final chapter of Mika-sensei’s manga for Ikemen Sengoku. It’s been such an adventure ever since I learned there was a manga based on the game, and it was a pleasure to find out that it’s based on Nobunaga’s route! Hopefully, we get more manga based on the game in the future. Mika-sensei certainly did a wonderful job with this series, and I’d love to see more from her one day. Anyways, Mika-sensei definitely packed this last chapter with a lot of drama, so let’s get to it!
