Shadow Fall. 100% Shadow Fall. It's not just my favorite from the comics, it's my favorite story in the entire franchise.

It's got everything I could ever want all wrapped up into four issues of the post Super Genesis Wave Archie comics. Shadow's relationship with the Black Arms actually being explored! Shadow gets a "brother" literally created to murder him who keeps trying to get him to switch sides instead of killing him! Shadow saying out loud with his mouth that he trusts Rouge and Omega! What more could I possibly ask for?

Also Shadow gets mind controlled, so I'm pretty much contractually obligated to be obsessed with it.

If I have to narrow it down to a single issue, then the third part, Sonic Universe issue 61, but really I'm just completely obsessed with the whole thing.

7. are there any specific scenes/chapters/moments of your f/o that you find yourself going back to revisit more often than any other?

Going to focus on the tv shows for this one so it doesn't turn into "Why I love Shadow Fall 2, Electric Boogaloo". I do love the games, but it's a lot easier to rewatch an episode than replay a game.

I haven't actually finished Sonic X or Sonic Boom, and it's mainly because I keep rewatching the episodes with Shadow instead of actually watching the ones I haven't seen yet.

I have seen Sonic Prime in its entirety, but the only episode I ever rewatch is season 2 episode 1.

For specific scenes, his first encounter with Sonic, Eggman releasing him from stasis (both from Sonic X episode 34, Sonic the Fugitive), and Chris trying to convince Shadow to help them (from episode 38, Maria's Wishes, Everyone's Wishes).

Something about Shadow repeatedly yeeting a child across the room for not respecting his personal space is hilarious to me.

Now I'm curious, did 4kids try to edit out him punting a twelve year old?

Just checked, they did. He just kind of punches his arm instead. Though Chris is still suddenly on the other side of the room for some unexplained reason.

If you've only watched this episode dubbed, do yourself a favor and go look up the sub version of this scene. Also even if you haven't seen the show at all, it's fucking hilarious.
