✂ "Oi! Talkin' eyeball thingy. Why's this chick trying to pick a fight with me exactly?" Well Ryuko had an idea. The space had been pretty quiet when Ryuko had gotten into an argument with Senketsu. No one else but hear could hear him though, so it probably just seemed like she had been yelling at herself.

There was an eyeball... hamster... thing... that was perched on the girl's shoulder. It seemed to be a little more receptive to an actual conversation.

"Not like I see a sign sayin' I can't raise my voice around here. It's public property, yeah?"

✂ How had this happened? Despite having waited in line for food for ten minutes, she was now sharing it with some dude who had shown up looking half starved. Ryuko had a rough exterior, but deep down she wasn't someone who would let someone in that condition wait for food.

She picked at her half of the fries while sitting at the picnic table she had finally settled at. "I only helped 'cause you looked pretty pathetic, y'know? I'm expecting you pay me back for like half of the meal. If you were gonna spend all day at the park, why didn't ya at least pack a snack?"

✂ Pissing off the wrong people on day 1 of her stay in the city felt just like Ryuko's luck. She hadn't liked the way that some guy was talking to her and so she'd mouthed off. One thing had led to another and now? She was being chased down the street in an arcade-like section of Golden during the late evening. "Shit! I need to lose 'em, but..."

She didn't really know the area at all. That was why after turning the corner she was glad to find an (occupied) photo booth and jumped in. There was a girl inside already and it was probably a surprise, but Ryuko tried her best to calm her down.

"Shh! Just act like normal! I'll really owe ya!" Provided they didn't check inside at least.

i was rewatching some klk recently and man the anime has not aged well in the past 10+ years since it came out. that said i still love ryuko as a protagonist dearly and she deserves better so here we are!
