bruce: raised jewish, celebrated Hanukkah and Christmas but never believed in Santa. stopped celebrating after his parents died but he and alfred would exchange gifts every year around Christmas

babs: celebrates Christmas, has two because she spends one with each parent (they’re divorced). technically gets three bc she’s always invited to the manor as well

dick: celebrated all winter holidays because the circus was very diverse, his parents weren’t very religious so it was mostly just for fun and spending time together (their circus troupe was basically a big family)

jason: raised Catholic, always went to church with his mom on Christmas. she tried to get him gifts every year. he still goes to Christmas Mass even though he’s an atheist since it reminds him of her

cass: makes bruce celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas every year (despite both of them being agnostic)

tim: not Christian but celebrated Christmas with his parents, he was never taught to believe in Santa

steph: celebrates Hanukkah with her mom

duke: celebrated Christmas and Kwanzaa with his parents, bruce starts celebrating Kwanzaa once duke moves into the manor

damian: celebrates Hanukkah and Christmas with bruce, didn’t celebrate any while living with the league (but talia gave him little gifts all the time)

basically bruce ends up celebrating all the november/december holidays at the manor

Merry Christmas everybody! remember to stay safe and treat in-real-life people with kindness while torturing your favorite fictional character.

whumper decides to be extra nice to whumpee this Christmas by gifting whumpee a box of their loved one’s severed head.

character A and character B are enemies who happen to be snowed in together during Christmas. oh no! there’s only one bed! to make it whumpy and angsty, one of them is injured.

whumpee was kidnapped during Christmas, so the holidays are now triggering to them. caretaker is doing their best to try to comfort whumpee since whumpee’s PTSD is triggering every Christmas.

whumpee fell into a frozen lake. caretaker rescued them just in them. but now whumpee is suffering from hypothermia. so caretaker has to do anything to keep them warm.

since it’s Christmas, whumper allows whumpee one visit to whumpee’s family. all whumpee has to do is cover those bruises, so their family doesn’t ask any questions.

character A and character B are enemies. character A has lots of family and friends to celebrate Christmas with. character B, however, is alone on Christmas. character A doesn’t want character B to be alone, so they decide to spend Christmas with them.

whumpee licking Christmas milk off the floor.

whumper dresses up as Santa as they climb down the chimney of whumpee’s house.

whumper chokes whumpee with Christmas lights cord.

whumpee, who’s suffering from an eating disorder, is forced to eat all of these Christmas cookies, otherwise whumper will punish them.

whumper writes ‘Merry Christmas’ with whumpee’s blood all across the wall for caretaker to come home to.

or, whumper carved the words ‘Merry Christmas’ on whumpee’s back (or stomach, or literally any part you want) with a knife, before they send whumpee to caretaker as a Christmas gift. bonus if whumpee also has a cute ribbon on their head.

there are protocols for what to do with every batkid when they panic / otherwise freak out. bruce has them written down somewhere but at a certain point they all just know them instinctively.

dick: make sure his feet are on the floor. put your feet on the floor. hold wrists -- not hands, but wrists, so neither of you could possibly slip. neither of you are falling. he needs to know that.

jason: don't touch him. talk to him. if you can lead him to a big, open space, do that. leave the doors open. turn the lights on. watch him, but don't get too close unless he asks for a hug.

tim: keep talking. doesn't matter what you say, just make sure he can't forget you're there. even after he says he's fine, even if it seems like he's fine, he's not, so don't leave. stay. if you can't stay, find someone who can.

damian: don't forget he's literally a child, but take him seriously. ask him what's wrong. him, you can reassure. don't touch his hair -- talia and ra's did that a lot, when he was in the league, and he'll flinch away from you. the knife helps him feel safe, don't worry, it's not about you.

cass: you can talk to her all you want but she is not going to answer you. speaking is hard enough on a good day. if you even manage to guess that she's panicking, keep your posture open. she won't take a hug, but she might come lean against you.

steph: hold her. it's pretty straightforward with her, actually. just hold her close and talk her through calming down. get somewhere you can take your mask off, if you're in costume, and let her see your face.

babs: get her a weighted blanket and a cup of tea and just let her be. if anyone besides dick or her dad asks, she's fine. she will be fine, honestly. she's a little better adjusted than most of the family. just keep an eye out for her.

duke: he's new. if you're not cass, dick, or tim, you should probably get one of them. kid gloves with him. you might have to walk him through breathing, focusing on the things around him, all the things that are second nature to everyone else now. remember, he hasn't been doing this all his life.

Gallavich Amnesia Prompts 🤕

Prompts for fics, headcanons, or discussion, art, etc. Interpret these however you like and feel free to use them as just a jumping off point, you don’t have to stick to the exact prompt! If any fics like any of these have already been written, please feel free to recommend them to me!

Mickey temporarily loses his memory after an accident, he doesn’t remember moving to the West side, or celebrating his first anniversary with Ian or even marrying Ian at all. In fact, the last thing Mickey does remember is Ian inviting him to rob some old guy’s house.

When Mickey finally tracks Ian down in s4, he’s shocked when Ian says he doesn’t know who Mickey is. Turns out Ian doesn’t remember his own family, let alone Mickey.

Mickey gets amnesia after 3x06, Terry takes advantage of this and tells Mickey a different version of his life - a one without Ian. But Mickey can’t help feeling like something is wrong and when he starts to receive texts from an unknown number he’s intrigued - especially when the person says they know the truth about Mickey’s past.

Sammi shoots Mickey which leaves him with another scar and amnesia. Ian, still struggling, thinks perhaps it’s better that Mickey cannot remember him at all. But the thing is….they keep running into each other. Mickey wonders why he can’t stop thinking about this guy who claims to only be an acquaintance from the same neighbourhood he grew up in. Meanwhile, the more Ian sees Mickey, the more he becomes conflicted about whether keeping his distance is the right thing to do…

When Ian has an accident during ROTC training, he loses his memory. Mickey is surprised to find how upset it makes him that Ian can no longer remember their secret relationship. Still wanting to be close to Ian, he tells Ian that they are friends. But Ian starts to become suspicious that Mickey is more than just the friend he works with. After all, friends don’t look at friends the way Mickey looks at Ian.

Mickey only knows a few things about his past - he’s originally from Chicago, he’s on the run from something, and he’s got some guy’s name tattooed on his chest. He spends his days selling drugs to tourists and gradually learning Spanish. Life in Mexico is boring but then he sees a newspaper article about a guy with a very familiar name and he can’t stop thinking about it….

The last thing Ian remembers is going for a sleepover at Mickey’s house. Now apparently it’s years later and he has to come to terms with a diagnosis of bipolar, a job as an EMT and the fact that Mickey is prison. And it gets worse, when he goes to visit Mickey, he’s not on his visitor list…..

Lip loses his memory after an accident and thinks he’s 16 years old. With the family all living in different places and Tami essentially a stranger, he asks to stay with Ian. But he finds it hard dealing with a married Ian and Mickey who are so different from what he remembers.

Ian’s life is simple - he lives with his mom in a trailer and works at a diner. His mom has always been a bit quirky….but when she starts acting stranger than usual, he’s concerned. Especially when she starts talking about Chicago and…his siblings? That can’t be right, because although he can’t remember much - he assumed he’d always lived in this small town as an only child. Could he really have a whole life in a city that he doesn’t know about?

AU. Mickey is a patient with amnesia and Ian is a nurse assigned to his care. Mickey’s family keep hanging around, which wouldn’t normally be a bad thing but Ian’s suspicious of them. Even more so when he finds out that they’re trying to get him to remember where he hid something valuable. They don’t seem to care for him at all. Ian can’t help falling in love with Mickey but tries to keep things professional. Meanwhile, Mickey is hiding a secret….he doesn’t actually have amnesia and is looking for a way to get away from his family.

AU. Mickey’s a bartender who’s had a flirty relationship with a customer, Ian, for a while now. He knows all about Ian’s controlling boyfriend who Ian wants to break up with. Then Ian stops coming in, until one day, he reappears but he’s different. Confused. Ian explains he has amnesia and that his siblings have said he used to come to the bar, so he decided to visit in the hopes it helps him regain his memory. Then the boyfriend appears and Mickey learns two things - 1) the boyfriend is pretending that everything between them is fine and that they’re engaged and 2) the boyfriend has no idea about Ian’s friendship with Mickey.

AU. Mickey and Ian are both recovering from injuries in the same hospital room. One of them has amnesia and the other doesn’t. They form a tentative friendship that quickly leads to love. But what happens when the one who has amnesia remembers their life?

Mickey thought he had imagined all the various ways Ian could react when he walked in to the prison cell. But Ian having amnesia and having no memory of Mickey? That wasn’t one of the possibilities at all.

After a car accident, both Ian and Mickey develop amnesia. They struggle with remembering different things at different times and the fact that they’ve got a whole married life they need to adjust to.

Was thinking more about a Ranma 1/2-esque ZoSan story and hear me out:

Zoro falls in a cursed spring that turns him into a “woman” when doused with cold water and turns back into a “man” when doused with hot water

He of course doesn’t give a fuck and doesn’t even bother turning back sometimes because to him it truly doesn’t matter, masculine or feminine body, he’s still a man no matter what. He just keeps going on with his day and turns back when he bathes. Which isn’t often. Going into the sea to save a drowning luffy happens more frequently then one would think

But for closeted Sanji this is the worst possible situation because he’s been pushing his attraction for Zoro down down down, for so long

And now Zoro has a “womanly” body sometimes and his carefully repressed feelings are spilling over through his well oiled womanizing thought process and fucking hell if the idiot swordsman goes around with his tits out one more time he might just die

Zoro thinks it’s kind of funny until Sanji refuses to fight him when in feminine form

The sexual tension ramps up and up and Sanji finally snaps and makes out with fem!Zoro

Cue angst because Zoro thinks Sanji only likes his womanly feminine body and nothing else- he’s been silently loving the cook and not making a move because he’s sure Sanji is straight

But actually the fem body thing just was the straw that broke the camels back for Sanji and fuck why is Zoro being distant

Zoro starts feeling so desperate and misses Sanji so he douses himself with cold water and thinks maybe he can live with this if it means he gets Sanji, any way he can be with him

Cue confusion and fight scene where Zoro doesn’t understand why Sanji won’t reciprocate when he’s in his feminine form isn’t this what he wanted anyways ???

No! What I wanted was you, dumbass

They kiss and make up and Sanji comes to term with his bisexuality

Bonus steamy fun scenes where they take full advantage of Zoro’s “curse”

More thoughts on some shenanigans that happen in the background:

obligatory Brook asking for Zoro’s panties scene but he doesn’t wear any - Sanji nearly has a stroke

Nami berating Zoro over his lack of propriety when in feminine body mode

Robin being overall very amused by the situation and making plans with Nami to dress Zoro up in some feminine clothes just for the fun of it (they use his debt against him)

Chopper innocently trying to explain bodily things and giving the talk to Zoro about periods etc and telling him he needs to be careful not to get pregnant (they know he likes to fuck random men at ports) in the middle of dinner

Nami and Zoro would go out with zoro in fem mode to get their drinks paid at bars and have so much fun
