as much as i think captain sharp cares for sam and his wellbeing i do think they’d end up having more of a roommate situation going on than a family one

#i definitely think they're walking the line between family and sam just kind of . living there #i think the captain takes care of the important stuff but also i doubt he really tries to stop sam from smoking #or just doing pretty much anything as long as sam tells him first #he's just kind of there if sam needs him #or to stop sam from doing anything too stupid #but sam is very self sufficient and i think that that would just lead to the captain letting him do what he wants #(within reason) #or letting sam decide how much of a familial relationship that they have
