"Myrkul [compared to some gods, is autonomous] obeys no one but is influenced by Bhaal and Bane..."
I love this weird connection the Dead Three have with each other and how it never seems to go away completely. I don't think co-dependency is quite the word for it, but they're just utterly toxic for each other, keep fucking each other over, and somehow they keep coming back to this alliance. For some reason the opinion of the others holds sway!
Like Bane is... Bane. He thinks he doesn't need anybody and everyone is subservient to him! He's allergic to his own capacity to enjoy things or feel emotional attachments to people. He just fundamentally can't compute when he cares about someone. Why is he upset they're dead? Bane doesn't know! He also only got as far into the Time of Troubles as he did because he has Myrkul backing him up. He still kind of depends on the other two and at least once upon a time had respect for Bhaal.
Bhaal needs the other two to keep his murder hoboing in check, and they seem to be the only beings in the universe who can (or are permitted by Bhaal) to do so. Myrkul left him unsupervised for a week once and Bhaal ended up getting distracted trying to kill winged ponies and then got killed, ruining his and Myrkul's plan.
Myrkul, by all accounts, is shooting himself in the foot every time he agrees to work with these idiots and he keeps doing it. Some descriptions have assigned gods mortal-like feelings, wants and needs, so like, is he lonely or what? Myrkul's charisma is abysmal by mortal standards; by divine standards a landfill of rancid trash has more appeal (he spent the last stretch of the Time of Troubles in a sewer, talking to zombies and himself). Bhaal is basically his only friend in existence (Bane is... there. Myrkul doesn't exactly like him, and yet he still works with him.)
The last time these idiots cooperated Bane destroyed Bhaal's worshipper base and got himself killed and thus left Myrkul in a mess, then Bhaal got killed due to murderhoboing and left Myrkul even further in this mess, and somehow the 15th century rolled around and these three agreed to work together again. Working together worked so well last time! What is wrong with you.

Snooping around some character tags and just- people really seem to think that picking sassy sorcerer options is somehow abusing Gale/being cruel to him. As if Wizards and Sorcerers don't have a reputation for silly (emphasis on silly) rivalries in D&D.
Wizards and Sorcerers like to poke and tease each other about their magics. Like it literally just a trivial thing. Like a healthy sibling rivalry. It's really not that deep.
Also the Wild Magic specific ones are so much fun with him, and Gale seems to really enjoy those ones.
People get really weird about Gale though (people get weird about every character in this game).
Not tagging because it doesn't need to be in public character tags, I am just complaining.

Love the idea of Durge just being a bottom pit of needing their father's approval and "affection" and just doing heinous as fuck shit to try and earn it.

I am kind VERY tempted to make a Tav who is the captain from the old Spelljammer computer game. The interactions with Lae'zel would be hilarious. LIKE you can fight Mindflayer ships and take them for your own in that game. Tav would have done this all before (minus the worm). You are literally a fantasy space pirate captain (if I'm remembering correctly).
Idk, I just love pairing Lae'zel up for interactions with protagonists from the previous D&D games. LIKE imagine Lae'zel meeting The Kalach'cha (the protagonists) from NWN2. LIKE the person who literally has the Silver Sword of Gith (who is also somewhat allied with the Githzerai).

FINALLY got a name for my Dark Urge. Riven. Yes, it's just a word. An adjective that describes an object that has been torn/split apart, and they find it very fitting for their current condition (it more or less describes how they feel about themself, for better or worse). They chose this name for themself post main game (but before the epilogue).

If I ever get a hairless cat I'm going to name it Myrkul. Myrkul just gives hairless cat vibes.

I can't stop thinking about durge and Gortash in bed together, and Gortash realizing they have no belly button and he's like yo wtf? And durge is just like "I am sculpted from my father's own flesh I do not need a belly button 馃"

I really wish that Larian had given us body types based off the characters races (like nwn2) + more diverse body types (not like nwn2 sliders).

It's to bad that Charname/Gorion's Ward is dead by the events of bg3, Celisandra (a chaotic evil elf assassin) would have loved to compare flesh suits with Orin.

Talking about BGEE1&2, I dislike that SoDS tries to change it that Gorion wasn't the one to kill Alianna (Charname's mother, and a priest of Bhaal) and tries to make it so that it was one of Gorion's allies who did it. Which yes as players we can treat it as one more lie to add the pile of things Gorion has lied about in terms of the characters mother (about her dying in childbirth, and trying to make it out like she was a good person. She wasn't. Gorion killed her- which is fair tbh, She was a Bhaalist priestess who willing bore the Lord of Murder's child just to be able to kill it as a sacrifice for him, almost all Bhaalspawn where born from Bhaal's willing priesthood), but still. I just think there was no need to muddy the waters.
edit; Gorion's note in BG1 is literally full of lies, that get pointed out in BG2. His last (written) words for Charname are lies. let the old man be flawed. 馃檮

Very unpopular opinion but I really can't stand Isobel or Aylin, I just find them both to very obnoxious (in different ways from each other).
