fundraising for a sliver of stability

hi, me, m @bitternanami, and variable @tinypuffballofanger have been barely treading water here at home for a few months. to summarize:

i almost definitely have a spinal fluid leak and have had it for over two years but this is the first time i've gotten a neurologist to do anything about it. i am almost entirely bedbound

i probably have an autoimmune disease or chronic infection but nobody can figure out what it is

my knuckle is collapsed and i need to raise enough money to get a proper splint

i have a lot of medical bills to pay and i am being chased by the hounds

even though i've improved by leaps and bounds since my crash in october, i can still only work about 10h/wk which comes out to $300/wk which is not enough to make rent

snap & food bank helps but we still need help affording food too

i don't need full time care, but i need enough care that vaer can't get a job outside the house (he is streaming though !!) and there is currently no possible way to get him paid for his labor

m was no longer able to work the demonic conditions at sbux, we're still looking for a new job for them

we're pretty sure m has long covid that's been causing fatigue / brain fog / memory loss, which makes finding a job that won't be hostile to them much harder

the hope is really just to make us slightly less miserable. we are a bunch of crazy / crippled / sick / disabled / transqueer / autdhd creatures and stress makes everything a billion times more impossible than it already is. literally anything you're able to spare will help lighten our load in ways i can't describe in words

zodiac: capricorn sun

favourite song: ishidan no waltz - hana sekitori

only child, japanese-american. she’s japanese on her mother’s side and they’ve always taken a lot of trips over there to visit her grandparents.

her gender is (vague hand gesture) but she doesn’t linger on it too much. the only thing that matters is she wouldn’t be caught dead in a skirt.

had a strict and uptight upbringing -- the no video games, no sleepovers, no junk food kind. it was mostly her father’s doing.

her parents divorced when she was a teenager, and she had to live with her father because her mother moved back to japan to support her parents. it was not a good time. yuna hasn’t spoken to him since she moved out.

started playing violin because her parents pushed her into it and ended up falling in love with it.

her main instruments are piano and violin; she sings as a hobby, her guitar skills are passable, and she likes playing around with synth instruments too.

part-time barista; the rest of her income is performing, usually at weddings and other events, as well as busking. every other moment is spent auditioning for orchestras and submitting original compositions.

both of her parents were always very critical about her musical aspirations, and her father in particular was harsh, so she’s very defensive about her passions.

she’s had bad experiences with abandonment in various platonic & romantic relationships, and it’s given her a lot of insecurities. she can seem detached because she doesn’t take the initiative, but she’s the jealous type thanks to her abandonment complex.

loves outdoors, absolutely does not love exercise. if you make her run she’ll kill you. she just wants to sit and look at trees.

hates black tie formal which is unfortunate because that’s every classical music performance she’s ever been in.

she can seem pretentious but she actually really wants to have less “proper” life experiences, she just doesn’t want to do them alone. her secret desire is for someone to take her clubbing.

her biggest regret is getting a tattoo. not because she doesn’t like the tattoo, she loves it! she likes having something that isn’t Refined and Proper. but now she can’t go in onsens. it torments her.
