Keep in mind that
Children in Gaza are starving
People in Gaza are dying
They don't have shelter, they don't have clean water nothing, the only thing I hope is the genocide to end
And there are people who just don't care, or just tired of seeing it

“Since the 7 October attacks, Israel has repeatedly accused Hamas of committing sexual violence during its incursion. Many mainstream western media outlets have paid considerable attention to these allegations, despite a lack of concrete evidence. But while reporters must always take such accusations seriously, it is equally important for them to uphold journalistic standards in the process - and there appear to have been serious lapses in that regard.
At the same time, allegations involving Palestinian women in Gaza have received far less airtime.
Despite a UN report citing testimonies from Palestinians who said they were sexually assaulted and beaten while in Israeli detention, the mainstream western media has failed to give this issue much attention.
In addition to the UN report, there are many documented cases of Palestinian women who described sexual abuse at the hands of Israeli forces. Detainees reported being stripped to their underwear, beaten, searched and threatened with rape. Despite all the documented cases of sexual assault, however, Israel has used a single incident to refute them all. After Al Jazeera recently covered an alleged eyewitness account of the rape of a Palestinian woman by Israeli forces at al-Shifa hospital, the network backtracked upon learning the claims were fabricated, with a former managing director saying the woman had misled people “to provoke an emotional response”. After the report was debunked, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz suggested that the UN was wrong to take any such reports seriously. This is a dangerous position, considering that the UN and other human rights groups have recorded myriad other incidents of sexual assault and humiliating treatment of Palestinian women by Israeli soldiers. All of this has left us in a situation where Israel, despite being accused of sexual violence in the ongoing war on Gaza, continues to benefit from the silence of mainstream western media - and sometimes the silence of the victims themselves.”

Update: North Gaza Women's Project!
Mahmoud Abu Salama is doing an amazing thing in North Gaza! He is starting a project to help Deaf Palestinian women use their pastry making skills while also distributing food to families in need. This is helping both the women make a bit of a living and feed the hungry in the North.
By donating, we’re helping Mahmoud hire more women who take pride in helping both themselves and their communities! So please feel free to donate if you have a few dollars to spare, or spread the link if you're unable! Any little bit helps!

[Quick ID: Video of Mahmoud Abu Salama speaking to the camera with women sitting on the floor behind him as they put together packages of pastries. We then get a closeup of the women who sign to the camera.]

it is so incredibly sad to constantly see kids on instagram and tiktok who are younger than my brother have to literally beg for shelter, food, water, medicine, and their right to exist as human beings
i mean, this young girl is only ten years old, yet she is essentially responsible for convincing random people scrolling through instagram that her and her family’s life are worth fighting for
on top of that, their gofundme is not even 10% funded and time is running out, please if you can’t donate, just share
please don’t let this little girl die begging

Her name was Saly, she was five years old. She was like any child, she probably liked to play with her toys, she was probably learning to read, she probably like to spend time with her family and friends.
Maybe she would have been a doctor, or a farmer, or a engineer. Maybe she would have advanced the field of physics or medicine, written a best seller novel or stared in a major movie production; Or she might have had a quieter life, the world might have never known her name, but her friends and family would have and that might have been enough.
But no one will ever know now because Israel took those lives away from her, the tens of thousands of possibles that lay before each child burning like candle lights in cool summer night sniffed out in an instant. A last story shared by thousands of Palestinian children in Gaza.

”I can’t talk about Palestine because it ruins my accounts aesthetic!”
Bullshit. There’s a medium for every person to talk about Palestine.
If you post about makeup you can talk about brands who support Palestine OR even Palestinian owned companies who produce makeup.
If you’re into reading, discuss how Israel has burnt down most, if not all libraries in Gaza as an attempt to erase their history and culture. You can also quite literally share Palestinian literature.
If you’re in fandoms, spread awareness of the creators/companies such as if they’re pro-Palestine/pro-Israeli, you can even spread awareness about if the games are inspired by/feature disturbing imagery in the game that’s inspired Israels occupation in Palestine. (Looking at certain fandoms right now.)
If you’re an artists, share art created by Palestinians and the history behind the art.
If you’re into fashion, share information about traditional Palestinian clothing/jewelry in a respectful manner.
If you’re a foodie, share Palestinian owned restaurants and talk about what other food corporations/businesses are pro-Palestinian.
Overall consensus? There’s no excuse for anyone not to say something. You can find something that fits your niche, no matter what you’re interested in. At this point I feel like we shouldn’t have to beg people to speak up, especially with the numbers that have been coming out. It’s a matter of being a human, standing on the right side of history, and not being complicit in the killing of thousands of innocent people and children. As always, free Palestine.

Any feminist who hasn't stood up or talked about Gaza, any human who hasn't talked about Gaza, should never talk about morals or human rights or even right or wrong in general ever again !
This is the greatest humanity crisis of our time. Stand your ground

there's nothing nuanced or complicated about genocide
you either support it or you don't. there's no middle ground when it comes to the eradication of a population and the mass murdering of civilians.
