Merida let out a sigh. She had been having these nightmares more and more. She didn't know why. The first time she had really had them, was when she came to Arendelle for the first time. But she just brushed them off. Like it was nothing.
"I just can't help but feeling like something bad is going to happen." She divulged. Merida ran her hand through the tangle of curls. She knew Mor'du was gone. She watched him be crushed by the obelisk, and his spirit left. So why be haunted by these dreams?
(For my Merida RP blog. Cause, I can't help but to start threads, and then never finish them! :'D) Merida jumped in bed. Her eyes darted around the room. She could still hear the roar of that mighty bear in her ears. It was getting worse. The nightmares of Mor'du still ran wild, and seemed to just be getting worse. She felt the weight of someone moving beside her in bed, and had a sudden fear of being alone. "Stay... please." She whispered. Her hand reaching out for who ever was there.
"Merida?" Elsa mumbled sleepily, looking over at the redhead that was now in her bed. "What’s wrong? Did you have another nightmare?" Automatically she reached out to lay a hand on Merida’s thick hair, too sleepy to consider the potential consequences (though thankfully there were none).

Merida nodded, really not wanting to have left in the first place. "Elsa, I'm scared." She admitted quietly. She hoped that Elsa couldn't see the tears that had escaped her eyes. Merida hated feeling like there was no way to escape these nightmares. Did it mean that something bad was going to happen? She shuddered at the thought of it.
Merida scooted into Elsa's blankets, and pulled them up to her chest. "Are you sure it's okay for me to stay?" She asked the Ice Queen. It seemed like Merida was invading her personal space more often than she should.

Merida hadn't realized she had scrambled all the way from her room, to Elsa's, and leaped into her bed, until she heard her voice. Merida's nightmares were getting more frequent, and on her visit to Arendelle, Elsa had seen what kind of effect they had on the Scottish lass. "Aye..." She whispered. "I'm sorry, I'll go." She began to slowly get up, and make her way back to her own room. Hoping the nightmares would leave.

Merida smiled, at her comment. "Aye, I am in a suit." she nodded. "I just can't stand those frilly, fru fru dresses." Merida brushed a couple of her curly strands out of her face. "I did try and get mah hair back into a pony tail." she smiled.
Merida blushed a little when Ariel complimented her. "Thank you." She looked over Ariel's dress, the blush creeping back into her face. "You look simply wonderful, lass." She let her eyes linger on the dress a little more. "Are you ready to go?"
(I have no idea what set up this is, haha. Any ideas?)
I'm asking for my Merida Muse dressed in a tux. c: Shechangedherfate. "How do I look?" Merida asked, doing a slow twirl.

Ariel’s eyes wandered over her friend’s outfit, glancing back to her own dress before looking up at Merida again.
"You’re in a suit," she stated, half in shock. Ariel shook her head, her fringe falling out of place slightly, andreminding herself that it didn’t matter what Merida chose to wear. Most likely, she just wanted to annoy her mother anyway.
"You look great! Is this dress okay?” She twirled around, allowing Meridato see it fully.

"I know I do." Merida bit her lip, and rubbed her arm. "I suppose, yes, she would 'freak out' ." she admitted. Merida watched as Sharon reached out, and touched the feathers. It was such an odd feeling. Knowing she could feel such an different sensation on a pair of wings. Something she never dreamed she would have. It felt nice to have them stroked.
Merida thought for a second, to remember exactly where she was. She was just in field, and watched the wind blow the grass around while Angus ate. Merida was watching a large bird of prey float on the warm air currents, and thought about how nice it would be free like a bird.
"I was just out in a field, and this goggly eyed woman came up, and was babblin' about how someone wasn't really free until they knew how to spread their wings, and fly." Merida began to explain, "And she came up to me, and saw how I was watching the bird. She asked what I thought of it's ability to fly, and do what it pleased." Merida put her hands in her lap, and looked down, her brain still trying to wrap around it. "I told her I was a bit jealous of it's freedom, and wonderful it must be to just fly, and escape the world. I wished sometimes I could be up there, and fly, and not have to worry about my problems. Just to be up there, and look down below, and not have to touch the ground" Merida looked back up to Sharon, a small tear has slid down her cheek. "I must have sounded pretty desperate. Because the woman looked at me, laughed, waved her hand, and said, 'Now you can be free dear! Go and fly! Enjoy the sky!' and she was gone." Merida pulled her wings back closer to her. "She must have thought she was doing me a favor."
Closed Starter (Tinker Bell in Wonderland)
Sharon stood and listened to Merida’s little rant, flinching slightly when the wings moved. It was going to take a while to get used to seeing a human being with wings… “Well…” she began, “we have to figure out how to get rid of them.” she said, unable to look away from the red feathers. “I mean, you can’t keep them forever. Your mom would really freak out! Now…” she said as she reached out to lightly touch the wings. “where exactly did you see this witch?”

Merida looked at Sharon, and slumped get shoulders a bit. "They're kind of heavy, and I don't know how to fly with them yet." Merida explained to her friend. "But having them for four days hasn't been too bad." She shrugged. Dodging everyone, and trying to hide from her mother. That'd had been the hard part of the last four days. Merida looked at Sharon and blurted out, "It's not my fault!" Her wings expanding with her change in emotion. They were at least thirteen feet from wingtip to wingtip. They were almost brushing the walls. Although, the last time she had messed with magic, it was all her fault. It had caused lots of trouble in her kingdom too. But this time, in all honesty, it really wasn't her fault. "Honest, I didn't do anything crazy this time." She bit her lip. "It was this crazy old witch." Merida began to explain. "Who was more daft than the first witch I delt with!" Merida pulled her wings back in and sat down on the bed. She wasn't sure what to do. With the last spell, there was at least a loophole, and she was able to break the spell. This time, it was random, and she wasn't even looking for a spell, or magic at all.
Closed Starter (Tinker Bell in Wonderland)
Merida sighed. What a long day it had been. Between avoiding her mother and all forms of responsibility, she was tired. Merida was trying to keep a secret. One she did not want her mother to find out she had. If queen Elinor found out that she had another run in with magic. The amount of fury and punishment that would follow would not be pretty.
The curly mop of red hair, bounced around as Merida fidgeted with her cloak. She had managed to ruin another dress, this time, her favorite dark blue one. She needed the cloak to hide the torn back. Among other things. She didn’t realize the clasp on the cloak had gotten stuck. And now she tried desperately to get it off. “Ach, useless piece of fabric.” She muttered as she yanked, and tugged on it. Her mind was very occupied at the moment with everything that had happened the past few days. It was getting harder and harder to hide from people. Sooner or later someone was going to find out. She had forgotten all about her plans that she had made. Merida had invited her new friend over. That plan was lost in the tangled mess of her mind. She was a bit busy worrying about other things instead.

Merida had succeeded in unclasping her cloak, and tore it away. It was getting bothersome, and heavy, and she was hot. Running around the summer time with a large black cloak, got to be very warm. Merida sighed once more once she felt her back feeling a little bit more free. She uncurled the pair of wings she'd been hiding from Queen Elinor. With three ruined dresses on top of the set of wings, Merida was sure her mother would faint on sight. Merida had to take a knife to the back of her dress's to get her wings to fit. They were beautiful wings to say the least. Between their deep red hue, like a falcons wings, and the light creamy soft feathers underneath, any bird would be proud to have them. Merida heard a quiet knock at her door, and whipped around to see her friend Sharon standing in her doorway, her mouth hanging open in surprise. As Sharon began to shout questions at her, Merida leaped across the room, covered Sharon's mouth with one hand, and drug her into the room. "Ach, shush!" She hissed. Merida poked her head out the hallway to see if anyone was around to hear before slamming the door. "Now, to answer your question, I got them almost four days ago." She said flatly. Merida shrugged, and pulled her wings in a little tighter. They were getting much easier to control, and she seemed to have a knack for it. "It's a long story."

Merida frowned at her friend. "What do you mean? I think you're pretty popular!" she stared at Ariel. Merida uncrossed her legs, and rolled on to her stomach so she was at the same level as her friend.
"I don't know why you think that." Merida said a little more seriously. "Do you want me to list off all the reasons why I think yer amazing?" she asked. "Also, if you want, I have the evening off, if you want to do something?" Merida suggested.
(Don’t worry about it. This reply will be queued, so I apologise for that. I have no access to wifi over the weekend.)
"You’re sarcastic now, but I’m pretty sure that it’s the career of your dreams," Ariel laughed. "Well, if you can even call it a career."
Merida sat down next to her, and Ariel was in such a state of relaxation that it took her a moment to realise that her friend had been talking to her. She snapped out her reverie, flinching slightly, and raising a hand to cover her eyes as she looked up at Merida to avoid being blinded by sunlight.
"I don’t have any. I’m not exactly the most popular girl here, let’s face it. I’m just happy to have a break from studying, if I’m honest." She sighed happily, letting her hand fall away from her face.

"Indeed, I am. And there's no need to bow, dear." Merida insisted, waving for the girl to stand. She smiled at Sharon. "Well, I was just going for a bit of a walk, ya know. Relax and enjoy the day." She chuckled, not really having a designated route in mind. "I was just going to walk around." She admitted. Merida turned around, and continued in the direction she was originally heading. "And there's no need to call me princess. Merida is just fine." She shrugged nonchalantly.

She braced for impact when she felt a hand grab her arm, helping her regain her balance. “Yeah I’m okay. Thank you!” she answered. “You’ve got some nice reflexes! I was expecting for both of us to fall.” she said with an embarrassed laugh.

Merida gave Tinker Bell a sideways frown. "How could I remember something I've never heard of." She argued.
She folded her arms in front of her, and felt her wings flitter in frustration. It was odd to have such an unnatural sensation like that. But she supposed if things weren't going to change soon, she'd just have to get used to those sparkling things.
"I don't know why you keep insisting that I have forgotten something." Merida threw her hands up, in a sense of frustration. "I just want to go back home to Scotland. Is that too much?" She looked at Tinker Bell. Hoping she would get Tinker Bell to see she didn't belong. "What are clumsies, anyway?" she shrugged.
CLOSED STARTER! JealousFairy
Tinker Bell stopped walking and put a hand to her forehead, her wings drooping as her shoulders slumped forwards.
"Ugh." She made a short, sharp noise that was an expression of both exasperation and irritation. She really couldn’t remember anything, could she? "The Mainland-“ She began, waving her arms in the direction of the sea. “The, er, Mainland is-” How did she explain the Mainland?
"Well, the Mainland is where the Clumsies live." Tink said, then pulled up short, her voice a little softer and a little slower. "You…really didn’t remember that?"

Merida laughed as her friend wriggled under her grasp. She didn't very often get to goof off like this, and loved being able to come visit her friend when she had the time. It was nice to see Elsa take time to visit, and play.
As she focused on getting Elsa to give up the rest of her chocolate, Merida felt a chilled breeze flow past her. She glanced over her shoulder to suddenly see a large white wall of snow come her way.
"Ahh-!" Merida's cry was cut off, as she and Elsa were buried under a layer of snow. It was so cold! "No fair!" she tried to yell as she was covered in white crystalline flakes.
A reprieve. Elsa sighed in relief, her head falling on Merida’s head as she gave her a poke in the ribs.
"My pleasure." She said, sarcasm drawing out the words. "Wait-no-o!” She shrieked and laughed as Merida began to tickle her, attempting to push her hands away but to no avail. “Merida-!”
Elsa, in desperation, waved her hand and an avalanche of snow engulfed them both.
