something that annoyed me
a lil while ago someone in a discord server said that you won’t shift if you obsess over ur dr .. and one of the mods pinned it, i’m sorry but who wouldn’t be excited to shift to their DREAM reality ??? idk what to tell these folks, i shifted multiple times over pure obsession, hyperfixations & desperation 😭 i’m still obsessed, i have a whole pinterest account dedicated to my dr which has 10k pins .. that has gotta be the most dumbest thing i have heard all week ngl
that whole thing js pissed me off so bad but i don’t wanna even correct nobody because i’mma get attacked

I will literally smack the next person I see who says something like "i want to shift" or "i haven't shifted yet" or "i don't know how to shift" like YOU'VE ALREADY SHIFTED. YOU ARE SHIFTING RIGHT NOW. SHIFTING IS LITERALLY AS EASY AS BREATHING.
Have you shifted to the reality you're intending to go to? No. But that doesn't mean you haven't shifted. You are powerful. You are shifting. You have shifted.

🎀Things I’ve learned about Shifting 🎀
1. Background noise doesn’t matter. I come from a Hispanic family household and let me tell you hun it’s freaking loud as hell. It’s like a zoo lol but guess what? I still shifted. At some point you will start to feel your CR kinda “fade away”. I have been in this state where I am in between my CR and DR. I can hear background noise from my CR but I still feel like I’m in a different room or I hear sounds from my DR as well. Has anyone experienced this?? Let me know, I’m curious 🤨
2. Have patience. Allow yourself to relax and naturally connect to your DR. Don’t stress about having random thoughts or having an itch or things like that. Have patience with yourself like seriously you got this babe. Sometimes for me it’s feels like it’s takes 1 or 2 hours until I feel fully connected to my DR. (It’s different for everyone btw) you may take less time than I do. Those things don’t matter if you decide that those things don’t matter.
3. Methods really aren’t needed. If you think about it all methods consist of the same thing usually. It usually consists of affirmations, visualization, subliminal audios, meditation, counting, blah blah blah. If you want to use a method, then do that but don’t force yourself to do a method that doesn’t resonate with you. If you don’t like counting, then don’t count. If you don’t like visualizing, then don’t visualize. Change things up a bit and listen to music that reminds you of your DR or do something that you think is fun.
4. Just because some people like to lie about their shifting experiences doesn’t mean that shifting is fake. Just like in every community there is going to be people that are dishonest or don’t have the best intentions but that doesn’t mean that shifting is a big inside joke. Don’t allow these people to discourage you from shifting to your DR or make you doubt in its existence. Don’t depend on other people's content to feel motivated or believe in shifting. Just KNOW it’s real and motivate yourself to shift. (even though motivation isn’t needed to shift)
5. Shifting is Real. I think we all should know this by now, but I don’t think people really fully understand just how REAL shifting is. I mean you are going to be able to use all of your senses. You will be able to taste food, see your reflection in the mirror, talk to people that may be considered as fictional in this reality, etc. The process of shifting is safe but if you are shifting somewhere that has violence or gore make sure you script your own well-being. High pain tolerance, no trauma, etc.
6. Time isn't important. Just because it's been 4 years or 5 doesn't mean you can't do it. Time doesn't apply to shifting because time is just man-made thing. We created the concept of time not the Universe. Don't blame the Universe for your "Failure". (Spoiler alert: it's not failure) You just need to realize that no matter what, it will happen. It is completely inevitable. Some people have shifted after 5 years so don't give up! It will be worth it.
7. You can't fail at shifting. When you do your method, you will shift to your DR or shift to your CR. You shift all the time. We are constantly shifting consciously or unconsciously. Manifestation and shifting are very much closely related. (But that's another discussion for another time) Just like how we are manifesting on autopilot we are also shifting on autopilot. So, when you do a sleep method, and you wake up in this reality instead of your DR you still shifted. (Just not to your DR) (Get it?)

 𓍼 today’s prompt will be a where i give you something to visualize [ you can still choose to not do something if uncomfy ofc ]
 𓍼 imagine you shifted to a small house in a little cottage area, imagine waking up on your bed, what does the bed feel like? what do your covers look like? what does the rest of your room look like? is it your dr room? is it just a room where you find comfort? what color are the walls? your door? your floor?
 𓍼 imagine yourself getting up and walking around, what are you planning on doing? are you going to brush your teeth? are you going to shower? are you going to exit the room? if exiting the room, what do the hallways look like? are you upstairs, are you downstairs? what room are you nearby? the kitchen? livingroom? bathroom?
 𓍼 after looking around your house visualize going outside, is it early in the morning? is it late at night? are you going to see the stars? is the sun setting? what color is it? is there anything around your house? a farm? animals? other houses, think about what’s around your house.
 𓍼 vividly visualize your house details, how your bed feels, how your door feels, if you do anything like eating, showering, etc, try your hardest to visualize how those things feel.

Don't worry, there are still plenty of shifting methods you can try that accommodate your need to move, as I as well fidget! So I understand your struggle. Here are a few suggestions:
Dynamic Visualization: Instead of lying still, try incorporating movement into your visualization practice. You can imagine yourself walking, running, or engaging in any activity you find calming and enjoyable in your DR. As you visualize, allow your body to move naturally, syncing your movements with the scenes playing out in your mind.
Guided Meditation with Gentle Movement: Look for guided meditation sessions particularly designed for those who struggle with restlessness. Some guided meditations encourage gentle movement, such as swaying, stretching, or even dancing, to help release tension and promote relaxation.
Progressive Muscle Relaxation with Movement: Instead of focusing solely on relaxation techniques that require stillness, try combining progressive muscle relaxation with movement. Tense and release different muscle groups in your body as you fidget, allowing the physical movement to complement the relaxation process.
Active Imagination Techniques: Engage your imagination actively while allowing for movement. You can create a narrative or story in your mind about your DR while incorporating movements that feel comfortable and soothing to you.
Remember, the key is to just find what works for you! And remember you don't need any methods to shift! They're just tools for you 🖤

 𓍼 i have SO many scenarios where i’m the center of attention and not to the point where it’s toxic, but just cutie ‘pick me’ scenarios! because there’s nothing wrong with those scenarios at all!!
 𓍼 and not necessarily anyone on shiftblr has said anything about these type of scenarios i just wanted to say that idc about any scenario in your dr and you shouldn’t either!! get those people out your head and script whatever you want!
 𓍼 i think i can speak for a lot of people who want to feel wanted or to want to feel appreciated from someone whether it’s friend or someone you love, there’s nothing wrong with scripting “they only like me and no one else” not a scenario but you get my point.
 𓍼 anyways i just wanted say that you’re okay if you wanna script those ‘pick me’ scenarios, it’s okay if you want to be the center of attention, it’s okay!! i love you and it doesn’t matter if anyone has called you out about it because it DOESNT MATTER!! script those scenarios because you deserve that love and attention anyways.
