22-year-old Kotoba Hana considered herself blessed to be a part of the team studying ID-F86 in Lab Discovera, but didn't understand why her colleagues wanted to hurt it so much. She was well aware that ID-F86 allowed for the creation of wildly advanced technology, but she couldn't help but feel a bit - okay, extremely sorry for what the team called "the Ultimate Lifeform" every time they subjected it to some kind of torment or another.
One evening, Kotoba had finally had enough and told one of her colleagues, Percy Hansen, how she felt about the way they were treating ID-F86. To Kotoba's dismay, however, Percy simply laughed.
"We gotta figure out its secrets one way or another, and if that means beating it into the fucking ground, then so be it!" he told her. Then he called the other scientists into the room.
"Hey, guys! Kotoba told me how she wants us to be gentler with ID-F86! Ain't she pathetic?!" The other scientists started laughing, too.
"Maybe we should experiment on her too, to find out why she's so fucking wimpy!" one of them joked, and everyone began laughing again. Everyone, that is, except Kotoba, who ran out of the room crying loudly.
Kotoba kept running through the lab, and didn't look back until reaching the chamber where the Ultimate Lifeform rested.
"Words can't describe how sorry I am right now, Elfilis," she sobbed as she placed her hand upon the smooth glass walls of ID-F86's confinement, being the first out of all the scientists to speak the Ultimate Lifeform's true name. "I tried to convince them to be kinder to you, but I failed... I should've been better... I should've never joined the research team..."
Just then, Kotoba heard a voice in her mind. She assumed that it was ID-F86's voice since it was the only other living being in the room.
"Kotoba... it comforts me to know that you're not like the others, to know that I can count on you to be kind even when the others torment me... dare I say, your kindness heals me..."
As the Ultimate Lifeform mentally reassured Kotoba that her kindness wasn't in vain, the scientist noticed that the wounds on its body were beginning to disappear. "No way..."
"In return for your kindness, I would like to grant you some of my power. Keep your hand where it is, and I'll soon begin to transfer some of my power to your being."
Kotoba did as instructed, and soon she felt a tingling in her body. Once the tingling faded, she concentrated on the newfound energy within her, and felt wings that she could sense looked like the earlike appendages on Elfilis sprout from her back, and she could see in her reflection that her eyes now matched those of the Ultimate Lifeform.
"Whoa... thank you! I promise to use this power responsibly, Elfilis!"

Love, Cherish, Trust, Adore (One-Shot)
Fandoms: Space Channel 5
Category: Selfship/FxF/Kinda kinky
Otogi Hoshizora was relaxing in her dormitory at Channel 5 headquarters, rewatching her favorite anime, Yumeiro Ticket, for the third time when the compulsive thoughts came again.
Oh, Mizuguchi... it's happening again, she thought.
You see, ever since Otogi's first day as a Channel 5 reporter, after saving the galaxy alongside Ulala, her mentor, senior, and best friend, something just clicked between them, especially since what happened after the two got back to base...
(Flashback)
It was rather late when Ulala and Otogi returned to Space Channel 5's headquarters after having saved the galaxy from what Ulala had described as "a mysterious (and hungry) space organism". Both reporters had changed into their pajamas and Otogi was about to hit the hay when Ulala asked her, "Hey, before you go to bed, can I talk to you in your room for a bit? I have a secret you might want to hear, but promise you won't laugh."
Otogi nodded, and the two walked to her room. She climbed into her bed and Ulala continued, "Okay, here's the secret: I miiiiiight have been dabbling in the art of hypnosis for a couple weeks before you joined Channel 5, and up until now, I've been practicing with Noize (don't worry, he consented before I got to work). Would you let me practice on you, if it's not too much to ask of you?"
Otogi thought for a moment, then replied, "Of course! Anything for my best friend!" Ulala smiled and asked, "Are you willing to let me do it now?", to which her partner accepted.
"Okay then, I want you to take some nice, deep breaths to help relax you."
Otogi did just that, as Ulala continued, "You might notice that your toes are starting to feel all warm, comfy, and relaxed. Focus on that feeling and let it seep into the arches of your feet... into your heels and ankles... your shins and calves... this blissful sensation invading your knees, thighs, hips, and waist. Let it fill your torso and shoulders... you feel wonderful as it trickles down your arms and into your fingertips. Allow it to enter your neck and head, as you completely relax... although you know what's happening, you strangely don't mind, because you trust me, don't you?"
"I... do trust you, because you're so kind to me," Otogi murmured dreamily.
"Now, I'm going to count down from 5 to 1, and when I get to 1, I'll whisper the word 'surrender' into your ear, and that will be your sign to let your conscious mind fall away and welcome my voice into your subconscious.
5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
Surrender..."
Otogi let out a dreamy sigh and verbally keysmashed, she was too cozy and blissed out to feel any sort of negativity in that moment.
"Now, in this relaxed state, your mind is open and accepting of my words. I want you to listen carefully to my voice: Every now and then, you will be compelled by your own thoughts to come to me so I can remind you that I love and adore you, because I know sometimes you need to know that. When I say the word 'awake', you will wake up, okay?"
Otogi nodded, then Ulala whispered in her ear: "Awake."
(End of flashback)
"I'm here for my hugs and reminder that I'm loved, Ulala!"
"Perfect timing! I almost forgot about that!"

It's Showtime, Darling! (BWW TF)
Fandom: Balan Wonderworld
Word count: 834
Bell Rosewood's cell phone buzzed again, but she declined the call, as she had two weeks prior been in a falling-out with the caller: her ex-best friend Kayla Patterson. The two had been drifting apart as a result of the heated shipping discourse between them, and it had become too much for either of the girls to handle. Though they had agreed to disagree and quietly blocked each other on Stumbler, she still felt bad that she let something as petty as whether or not two fictional characters should be in a relationship cost her her closest confidant.
As she kept walking, Bell nearly stumbled over something, but caught herself just in time. She crouched down to observe that over which she had almost tripped.
It seemed to be a creature, and a very cute, very fluffy one at that. It was small, round, and its fluffy body was a soothing shade of sky blue. The creature had bright aquamarine eyes, a pair of catlike ears, and a little beak that made Bell think of baby chicks, and began to hop around a street corner, making cute chirpy sounds as it went.
Curious, Bell followed the creature, around that corner, past several shops, and onto a backroad. Just down the path was a large theatre, which seemed to be the creature's destination.
"Hey, wait up, you little fluffball!" Bell called, only for her to find that the fluffy creature was nowhere to be seen. She only assumed that it got into the theatre somehow, so she looked for something like a cat flap that would explain how it could have entered.
While she found nothing of the sort, she did see a poster for an emergency audition for a performance titled "The Girl Who No Longer Trusts". It sounded awfully tempting to Bell, being the theater kid she was, so she decided to check it out.
Once Bell entered the theatre, she saw posters for other productions that were most likely performed within its walls (a few of the posters caught her eye, including one called "The Aspiring Pastry Chef with Bittersweet Dreams", and another titled "The Former Champion Obsessed with Past Glory").
There was no sign of the fluffy creature, though Bell did see a rather dashing man seated at a table. He was dressed in a comely white suit, balanced out with an equally comely top hat.
The man seemed to have noticed Bell's presence, because she could hear him mutter, "Oh? Who is it?"
Bell responded, "My name's Bell! I'm here for the emergency audition for 'The Girl Who No Longer Trusts' - I'm very much into acting myself."
As Bell introduced herself and explained what brought her there, the man nodded in acknowledgement and introduced himself as Balan, and the pair shook hands and exchanged nice-to-meet-yous with one another.
"So, you came for the emergency audition for the lead role?" Balan confirmed. Bell nodded.
Balan squealed with joy. "I have a feeling you'll be a shoe-in for the role! Come now, little one, let's get you ready for the performance, shall we?" With that, he took her hand and led her to the dressing room.
"Oh my, I'm so excited!" Bell thought as Balan undid her ponytail and started gingerly brushing her hair. However, something mysterious and magical began to happen as he brushed her hair. Before he started, Bell's hair was silver, whereas where the brush had untangled it, her hair shone a gentle platinum blonde.
Before long, Bell's hair was completely platinum blonde, at which point Balan pulled two red ribbons from his pocket and tied his guest's hair into a pleasing set of twintails. He grabbed a mirror and showed Bell his work, asking, "So? What do you think, little one?" Bell smiled.
"It's beautiful!" she squealed. "What's next?"
Balan slid the wheeled stool Bell was sitting on over to a makeup table. "Oh, I see!" Bell said, then closed her eyes and let Balan work on her face.
Behind Bell's eyelids, her once-indigo irises shifted in hue to a calm cerulean, then to teal, and finally emerald green, and her cheeks now seemed to glow even more youthfully.
Once her makeup was finished, Bell now noticed that her personality was a bit different too: She felt much kinder, and although she was a bit insecure, she wasn't too much so.
Again, Balan asked Bell for her opinion, and again, Bell gave her seal of approval.
"That's wonderful! Now, please, put this on," he insisted, handing Bell a box containing a frilly red and pink blouse, a denim jacket, a black skirt with pine green trim, and some burgundy Mary Jane shoes.
As Bell donned each of the items, she felt her mind changing even more - in fact, she didn't feel like the name "Bell Rosewood" was her own anymore, now feeling more in the name and mindset of "Emma Cole".
"Okay, Balan! I'm finished!" Bell - no, Emma - called.
"Perfect timing, Emma!" Balan called back. "Now, it's showtime!"

Watashi no Hi, chapter 1
Fandoms: The World Ends with You
Category: Fluff/Gen
Nagisa Amemura hit the "snooze" button on her alarm clock, which was beginning to play the theme song from "Curb Your Enthusiasm" for the seventh time, then got up to check her calendar.
"YES! Finally, my first day as a Reaper has come! And I'm gonna do my best!" she said to herself as she put on her favorite outfit, combed her shoulder-length ice-blue hair, brushed her teeth, and fed her chinchilla, Lance Junior.
"Bye, Kotori! I'm off to my new job! They'll take care of my lodging too, so I'm leaving you in charge of Lance Jr.!" Nagisa told her roommate before heading out, MP3 player in her pocket, playing all of her favorite idol group's songs, headset on (with one ear uncovered so she could still hear what was going on around her), and of course, her beloved stuffed bunny Anpan XVII in her bag.
She stopped to get a marshmallow and honey crepe for breakfast at Aoi's Crepes on Spain Hill on her way to 104, and read over the email the Conductor had sent her a few days prior.
"Alright, the Pad's on the top floor. I hope I make a good first impression…" she thought, as she took the elevator. Soon enough, the doors opened to the sound of a woman's voice.
"I'll get it, Mr. Kitaniji. It's probably the new recruit."
An elegantly dressed woman with blonde hair greeted Nagisa. "Oh! You must be Miss Amemura! Welcome to the Reapers! My name's Mitsuki Konishi, but please, call me Ms. Konishi."
"Nice to meet you, ma'am. Please just call me Nagisa."
"Oh, the others are gonna be pleased!" Konishi responded. "Everyone! The new Reaper just arrived!"
