As I scientist, I was angry in 2016 with the way Dr. Fauci was being treated. I cannot believe we are still dealing with this bullshit. He was literally doing his job.

WHY DOES AMERICA RELY ON THIS KIND OF SEARCH BY THE GOP WHEN THEY NEED A SO CALLED EXPERT TO SELL THEY'RE F****D UP AGENDA??
The correct phrase is "scrape the bottom of the barrel," which is an idiomatic expression. It means to use or exhaust the last remaining or lowest-quality resources, options, or ideas available, often due to a lack of better alternatives.

Good news in voting rights coming out of Colorado! 🎉 Last week, Colorado’s governor signed a first-of-its-kind law that creates voting centers in county jails and gives people in local jails more opportunities to obtain and cast a ballot. People held in county jails typically retain the right to vote but face enormous hurdles to actually casting a ballot. While Colorado is the first state, in addition to Washington, D.C., to turn local jails into in-person polling places, Nevada, Massachusetts, and Washington state have also recently passed initiatives meant to make voting easier for voters in local jails. The secretary of state also announced a grant program for counties to improve voter access and raise poll worker pay.
