In the movie, Gabriel does not erase his abuse like his in-show counterpart. Unlike in the show, he does not take advantage of Adrien and instead shows remorse for hurting him. It is clear that Gabriel in the show and in the movie are completely different characters.
In the movie, Gabriel can be redeemed, but his counterpart in the show cannot be redeemed under any circumstances.
The above examples have been provided with the authors' permission to demonstrate what these look like.
Basic rundown:
They are all 3 sentences long
Perfect grammar, capitalization, and punctuation
Like absolutely flawless English teacher-style writing with only a single exclamation mark, ever
No mentions whatsoever of character names, settings, situations, or anything that could be tied to the story
The usernames may be identical to people who exist on ao3, but the name is not clickable, and no profile is associated with it EXCEPT when you directly search for that name. What this means: the comments come from an unregistered (not logged in) reader, bots scrape the site for real usernames, attach that to the comment, and post
Please spread the word about this so authors can filter comments and report them accordingly
There has been some speculation about why this is happening at all, and the best guess is that this is a feature that AI-training story-scraping tools are implementing to try and make their browsing traffic look legitimate
change your icon/pfp and put something coherent in your blog description or you're going to get blocked bcs people think you're a bot
this site is built around reblogs, so please actually reblog posts(especially art and fics!!)
you can set your likes and follows to private
checkmarks here are a meme and mean nothing
follower counts are private and we like it that way, so get used to not judging people by that metric
drama and discourse is boring, use your blacklist and block button liberally
DON'T CENSOR YOURSELF!! we can swear and say kill and make fun of corporations all we want, and if you tiktok-ify your tags people who have things blacklisted for whatever reason will still see them, and people who want to see that content won't be able to find it!! spell words out normally, you won't get in trouble!!
tumblr live is sketchy as hell and full of fake accounts, if you decide to use it anyway may god have mercy on your soul o7
be nice to the reddit refugees, they're our friends <3
I watched the special, I will be commenting spoilers, all I will say for non spoilers is it's good, I cried and then was hyped for the rest of the time 10/10 animation as well
i ducking love the dynamic SWK and Nezha have with each other in lmk. it’s literally siblings whose first instinct with each other is the Cain instinct. attack on sight. play fighting.
literally
their first scene we see them in: Nezha holding no punches while SWK teases him
and
the next time: pure sibling frustration you can’t tell me otherwise. look at Nezha, he’s just pissed bc SWK threw his ring in the fucking ground like an idiot (affectionate).
also the fucking smugness when Nezha and SWK think they have the upper hand
OKAY. I know the s4 specials aren't going to be out for awhile, but I'm saying this here and now-
TAG. YOUR FUCKING. SPOILERS.
I don't care how small it is. If it's a huge fucking plot twist, if it's a design for a character, if it's a screenshot of a tiny flower that's only shown in the corner of the screen. TAG IT. IF IT'S FROM THE SPECIALS, TAG IT.
And be specific!! There's gonna be a difference now between s4 vs s4 specials. I still want to be able to look at new art and not worry about spoilers. When you are using a tag--not if, WHEN--put 'specials' with it. And if you don't, at least put s4 spoilers.
monkie kid spoilers, lmk spoilers, lmk s4 spoilers, lego monkie kid season 4 spoilers, lmk s4 specials, lego monkie kid specials. I don't care. Just put. Something. And tell your followers what tag(s) you are using so they can filter accordingly.
I got spoiled for SO MANY THINGS in s4. I started crying at one point and hurt my arm punching the air, I was so upset. Some people are okay with learning stuff before watching it, most are not. I am one of those people. I don't even watch trailers anymore cuz I want to be surprised. People can call me over reactive, I don't care. This is how I enjoy media, and a lot of others do the same.
So, please, for the love the fandom, TAG. YOUR. POSTS.
