Love of my Life - One Shot
This was probably done a million times ever since the song leaked, but I couldn’t help it. I literally bawled for like an hour and the song itself is just flawless. Sorry it’s really short.
based on: Justin’s voice mail in the beginning of “Love Will Remember"

Even two years after the breakup, Selena was still hung up on it. She’d never admit it to anyone, not even her best friend or family, but she listened to that very last voice mail he ever sent to her at least twice a day. She was tearing herself up, and everyone was sitting back and watching her do it.
Selena’s trembling hands hovered over the green play button for a good minute before she tapped it and brought her hand up to her mouth, trying to fight back the sobs and kept them silent so nobody in the room over would be able to hear her.
"Hey babe, it’s me. Um," Selena removed her hand from her mouth and quickly tapped the red stop button and stared at the screen of her phone, wondering if she could really listen to it another time tonight.
She knew that was she was doing was certainly no good for her health, but she honestly couldn’t help it. She clenched her eyes shut and let out a long audible breath that was much needed before fluttering her eyes back open and pressing the play button again.
As many times as she’s listened to the voice mail, she had every one of his words memorized and it never failed to make her cry.
"I just wanted to call and tell you that I love you so so so so much. I just wanted to let you know that you are my princess, you are worthy of all the love in the world. You are," There was a slight pause as Justin let out a breath, "the love of my life."
Locking her phone, she had a tight grip on it for a minute before she threw it across the bed. She pulled her knees up to her face and buried her face into them as she let out countless uncontrollable sobs.
“The love of my life.” She repeated softly to herself.
