Learning Benefits of BBA Integrated Law Courses in India
It sounds a bit weird to integrate a subject like BBA with LLB. Well, it’s one of the most popular courses offered by some of the top law colleges in Maharashtra, New Delhi, Kolkata, etc. Amplifying the legal knowledge of the students in diverse fields of management and administration is one of the key reasons behind it. The rapid transformation in the world of entrepreneurship and the areas associated with it demands sound legal knowledge these days.
Be it operating the Human Resources, Operational resources, dealing with client management and relationship, etc. knowing the legal parameters of all these individual disciplines are a must. An LLB degree with BBA connects the interdisciplinary relationship of management and law under a single umbrella.
The learning outcome of one such degree is quite beneficial for the students in the following ways,
Acquiring an analytical mindset and becoming an expert problem solver
A law degree requires patience. Without patience, it’s difficult to understand the series of laws enacted for individual sectors of operational and organizational management. To understand those legal policies a student must have a good analytical mind. Then only they can reach the root level of a problem faced by the client organization. Once the problem is analyzed, solving the crisis is just a matter of time for a law student. By acquiring this particular skill-set they can provide steady remedies for critical challenges popping up for an organization.
Sketching suitable administrative policies
It’s important to sketch the operational policies before implementing them. A student of law must be smart in drafting suitable operational and managerial policies. The purpose of framing a policy can be anything. It can be about strategizing a plan to fill up the productive gap to speed up the productivity level. By the time a student completes a BBA integrated law degree, he/she must be a good schemer to sketch suitable administrative policies for the organization.
Remaining updated with the nitty-gritty of corporate copyrights
A professional business lawyer must have sound knowledge of corporate copyright and patent law. By the end of the 5 years LLB program, the student must have sound knowledge about corporate patent and copyright law. The individual must enlist all the competitive clauses to protect the business copyrights of his/her client’s firm. Then only the learning outcome of one such degree is considered valid as a professional corporate lawyer.
Learning the individual clauses of the Indian Company Act
Another reason for studying BBA integrated legal course is to acquire an in-depth understanding of the Indian Company Act. That includes the details of a sole proprietorship business/ partnership business formation, etc. Often start-up businesses approach legal consultants to begin their bootstrap firms. Apart from offering legal advice to those soon-to-be startup owners, a BBA/LLB graduate must assist them to get ISO registration, draft transparent income tax files and other legal parameters to avoid future legal loopholes. A student of law acquires these skill-set too at the end of the BBA integrated LLB course.
The final words in a nutshell
A decision to enrol in the top law college in India to pursue LLB/BBA is always worthy only when the learning benefits are successfully executed. Before taking an admission in any of the law colleges, always evaluate the learning outcome of the legal degree you’re opting for.

What does a paralegal do? Is it possible to become a paralegal in India?
Paralegals usually assist lawyers in tasks like research and gathering information about a case, processing documents, etc. They act as a legal secretary and can specialize in a wide variety of tasks, depending on the field their law firm specializes in. Top law colleges in Maharashtra offer some excellent L.L.B. programs that can give you the background you require to become a paralegal.
In India, there is no formal designation or position of a paralegal. However, going by the nature of the job, legal secretaries, law graduates, and law interns can all act as a paralegal in Indian law firms.
Here are some of the reasons why you should consider becoming a paralegal in India-
 Good Start to Law Career
Starting out as a paralegal while you are still in law school or right after graduating gives you a good start to your law career. It will give you a push in the right direction and valuable experience working with senior lawyers. You could even be a graduate from an unrelated field and successfully become a paralegal after a few months of training.
You will find it easier to become a specialized lawyer in a field like civil law, criminal law, environmental law, corporate law, etc. Your L.L.B. degree will not give you extensive knowledge of a specialized field, it will provide you with a wide range of knowledge of different fields. However, if you work as a paralegal in a specialized law office, you gain experience in that particular field. You can then pursue an L.L.M. degree in that field and practice law successfully in that area.
 Decent Salaries
Legal interns usually make more money than any other fresher candidates. As you gain more experience, your salary will increase and you might get promoted.
You will become a better lawyer
Working as a paralegal in a large firm will give you some valuable experience and skills. Most of the skills you learn in the career of law are learnt while working and not in law school. Hence, starting your law career as a paralegal will enable you to learn a great deal about the functioning of a law firm. You can explore the pros and cons of being a lawyer in different fields, and this can help you choose your specialization later on.
 Conclusion
All in all, becoming a paralegal is not very difficult and should definitely be considered by any law student.
Symbiosis Law College (SLS) is one of the best Law Colleges in Nagpur and offers excellent L.L.B. and L.L.M. programs.
