A: Of the fanfic you’ve written, which is your favorite and why?

Definitely a hard tie between Silence is Golden and Of Earthly Things, but lately Of Earthly Things is consuming my existence so probably that one. Silence will always have a special place in my heart but I think I'm having the most fun and am the most passionate about Of Earthly Things

N: Any fic ideas brewing that you’d care to share?

Riley family never died AU (I can give more details later if anyone wants)

G: If you wrote a sequel to [insert fic], what would it be about?

If I wrote a sequel it'd have to be for To Love, To Let Go cause from what I plan for the actual fic is just like a certain period of months where Bailey learns to adjust with her new life and Price with his. It'll end somewhere around the time she actually gets truly comfortable. The sequel would just be further growing pains of their new family and some shenanigans with the boys and whatnot

S: How do you feel about fan art inspired by your writing?

I would absolutely fucking die if anyone made art /pos

Like I don't think y'all understand. There'd be so much art for my fics already if I had the abilities to make art, but I can't so I'm just cursed with the images, unable to share

T: Any fanfic tropes you can’t stand?

When it's like Character A meets Character B through their sibling. I don't know, I just feel weird about that sort of thing. It might just be the relationship I have with my siblings and the fact the only people close to my age that my siblings are introducing me to are my twin's friends but I see all of them as bonus brothers, so? Idk

Well I haven't cried since this morning so I guess I'm doing okay? (Today is just not it)

And Tats asked me for A as well, so I'm gonna answer it with that one just cause it was in my inbox sooner, I just haven't had a chance to get to it

R: Which writers (fanfic or otherwise) do you consider the biggest influence on you and your writing? Honestly? Not entirely sure. I wanna say some of the books I inhaled as a kid were a big influence, especially C.S. Lewis and his Chronicles of Narnia. I would also have to say probably Christopher Paolini with the Inheritance Cycle

J:  What’s your favorite fanfic trope?  Have you written it? I'm a big fan of "forced proximity/forced into working together to not really friends but damn if I let you die to holy shit I think I love them". Think of it as like "we're forced to work together to defeat this common evil but along the way we form a relationship and meaning between each other" I have not personally written it, technically speaking. It's kind of what is gonna be the GazAlex Undercover AU but that's a bit different from this exact trope.

Truck definitely plays favorites.

Everyone knows Flash could probably set his shop on fire and get away with a stern "don't fucking do it again"

But what they don't know is because Flash is so young, he gets this fierce fatherly instinct to kick in

It's just proof that he is a little sad about the fact his wife can't have kids, and that they never really pursued adoption or anything.

Meanwhile his favoritism goes the other way.

Meerkat can't breathe in his direction without getting glared at.

Woody has a lot of respect for Truck.

But the one time he watched the mechanic spray an ungodly amount of whipped cream into his mouth as a response to getting his hand pinched while working on one of the vehicles made him question some things.

When soap passes makarov’s picture to ghost and ghost slowly (hotly) looks up and over at soap. Do you think he’s specifically remembering 3 years ago in verdansk when makarov threatened soap.

Like. The guy next to him was never anything more to him than another sas man but now. Suddenly he’s everything. And he only just got him. Now there’s this enemy reappearing, one who personally has it out for his Johnny, and he’s just sitting here remembering “I’ll be seeing you again, MacTavish. I promise.”

AU with art handler/curator soap and ghost, (secretly) an immortal with a suspiciously endless stream of antique art to donate just so that he can have the chance to speak with soap more.

ghost is torn for two reasons: one, because he actually likes a lot of the art; and two, he doesn’t want to risk getting too close, to inevitably get his heart broken when soap grows old and he doesn’t. but ghost’s stupid feelings, after being seemingly dormant for so long, have him constantly seeking out soap’s company anyway—even if it’s only in the form of business deals.

soap, on the other side of this, is wondering how rich ghost must be to own all of these antique pieces. he wonders how much he’s travelled, how much he knows to have curated such things. but ultimately, he, too, wonders if their friendlier-than-business-partners relationship could blossom into something more—even if he suspects that there’s more to ghost than meets the eye.

Rereading Chapter Two this morning and I thought of something!

I can see younger Soap sitting in a classroom watching some rescuer giving a presentation on creatures and even having a creature ambassador to help educate the kids. I can also see Soap wanting to do small presentations like that at a community center.

Oh my god you're so right

Theres a picture in the school newspaper to celebrate the rescue coming by and teaching their students all about cryptids and creatures and the work they do.

On the front cover is a picture of little toothy, crooked grin Soap holding a little cat/raven griffin in his arms.

His parents knew the day they saw that picture that he'd be pursuing something like that, they just didn't want to believe their smart boy would
