Daniel is Hiccup. His mom is the chief and his dad died when he was younger. He works with Mr. Miyagi, who is the blacksmith and he assists on making weapons except he makes many little gadgets to help him kill dragons.

Johnny is Astrid. Blonde, a badass (at least to himself), yk much like Astrid. Except unlike how Hiccup was in love with Astrid, Daniel HATES Johnny. He thinks he is full of himself.

Fast forward to when Daniel shoots down a dragon, goes to find him, tries killing him, ends up being unable to.

Except Johnny grows suspicious of Daniel, questioning what the fuck that loser is doing whenever he disappears and ends up following him because HOW is this kid getting so good with dragons.

ends up seeing the dragon Daniel saved. He thinks Daniel is gonna get himself killed and he "reluctantly" tries to save him. Daniel stops him and tries to explain everything to him. This ends up making the tolerate one another because Daniel was convinced Johnny was going to say something, but he never did.

this is lame and a little rough but just a thought
