(Mom dumps half the glass over my head... which feels nice and I'm laughing asking what gives)

Mom: Someone put a cup of coffee in the freezer and didn't put the lid on it.

Have they ruled out Bell’s Palsey? I’m not sure if it’s linked but someone I knew, towards the end of their pregnancy, the left side of their face was mostly paralyzed until about 3-4 months after they gave birth. I don’t think they knew why it happened, just did.

My cousin just posted this. I have seen tumblr pull off miracle diagnosis in the past. Pass this along and tag it whatever you think will get it to the eyes it needs to get to.

🎁 The Gyftmas 2023 event is a Secret Santa event, in which a participant is matched up with another participant to make them a gift. We call them a Santa and an Imp, where the Santa makes a gift for their Imp. Each participant will be someone’s Santa and someone’s Imp at the same time, meaning that you will receive a gift from your Santa and make a gift for your Imp. You will not know who your Santa is (thus making them a Secret Santa), but you will know who your Imp is and what they’d like as a gift. Make sure to keep your identity a secret from your Imp, so as not to spoil the surprise!!

🎁 As a Santa, you will receive your assignment with your Imp’s name, social media account (we encourage you to scroll through their blog/account to get a better grasp at what they like), pronouns and requests, as well as their dislikes/triggers if they have any so you can avoid them. There will be at least 3 different requests so if you’re not comfortable with one, you can choose another. Only 1 request is required, but you can make more if you want to and have the time.

Honestly if you think about it, you already live in the Wizarding World without having magic. Isn't it their thing to kind of hide that sort of stuff? I mean I guess it's known, but I guess we all just happen to live in area where they haven't been witches or wizards or our memories keep getting erased.

I need to remember to post here more.....

The past 2-3 weeks have been rough, getting back to work, and then life went sideways via a family tragedy. I'm still trying to get over that and take it easy as I right myself again, but looking at everything that I have on my task list, it gets... overwhelming. Especially in the face of the fact that I just kind of don't want to do anything, but that's not good either, because then it makes me more nervous and feel like shit, and it turns into a vicious cycle. I'm on the lookout for a therapist.

While I haven't updated MegalodonTale in months, I think it's going to see hiatus until January/February. I'm hoping that I can stick to this time frame and use the next three months to perhaps get some backlog done for it. I have a commission to work on, and two prize fics from the RSC event I helped with over the summer. I also have a gift I'd like to put together for a very lovely person, and NaNoWriMo is coming up. So already with just writing, I have a lot to do.

I have been trying to finish cleaning and organizing some areas in my home, and some extra time may have to be given to my parent. There's quite a bit to do both inside and outside my home, and it would be great if the weather would cooperate a bit, but autumn tends to bring rain to my area.

So, here's hoping that I find the energy and motivation to get myself back on a proper track soon, or at least start getting things finished so I can take them off my task list.
