Mini rant

I normally don’t do this, because I loathe calling people out or being a general over all bitch, but tonight I find myself incredibly irritated. Back at the end of June I had entered an art give away on Sorcan, and to my surprise I won. Exciting right?! The artist contacted me, and everything seemed to go pretty smoothly. I sent my references, and they were accepted. A few weeks go by, and I didn’t hear anything from the artist. No big deal because life happens and people become busy with life. A month passes and still nothing. No word on the progress of the art. I try to avoid messaging people, because I don’t want to seem bothersome, and I certainly don’t want to pressure the person. So I sit by quietly wondering what is going on. Considering I haven’t been around much lately it hasn’t really bothered me that they haven’t wrote. I’m just a little curious as to why they haven’t wrote, or contacted me yet. Nearly two months have gone by (their last message was sent on July 5th and as of next week it will have been two months since last contact) it is only since I won, and still no word. So I write the person and ask if everything is okay since I haven’t heard from them in nearly two months. No reply. They were online, active for several days, but didn’t write back. I give it another few days before I break down and finally say ‘hey are you able to do this, because if you don’t have the time or don’t want to I totally understand.’ At this point I just want to know what the heck is going on. I’ve been in the dark on it for two months. Now before you go ‘oh well they probably had commissions to do’ ‘they’re busy’ etc etc. Yea I get that, and I have been patient which is why I avoided trying to contact said person for a while. I get on Tumblr tonight to see if they wrote. Turns out I’m blocked!

Yes, that’s right. I’m blocked and all I was merely doing was asking for a progress update, or any update really. And you know what? That really irks me. I understand that life gets in the way, and that artists have other clients and things to take care of, but blocking me after not saying shit for two whole months? If you’re going to do a free art give away to followers then shouldn’t you also keep up your end of the bargain too?

Housing Bug - Auto-timers

Hi everyone! A small heads up / warning! 

There has been some credible proof that some folks are having their houses demo’d outside of the 45-day timer, and others are getting the “Auto demolition Canceled” notice repeatedly even if they have recently stepped foot into their houses. We are not currently certain if this bug is affecting all datacenters ( JP data centers are currently suspended for auto-demo anyway) and folks in the Balmung Housing Alerts! discord are trying to gather more information about it. I would step inside your personal / FC houses anyway just to be certain!

I’m back!

I am so sorry for my long hiatus from Tumblr. Things around the house have kinda been hectic and stressful these last few weeks. I’ve been feeling drained, and have just been spending a lot of time to distress. Unfortunately when I’m stressed out my muse suffers. Again, I’m sorry for my break, but I’m back at it again! Mystic

💚Are they prone to jealousy?

‘Who isn’t? Jealousy is an emotion that we experience when we’re very young in age. So it is a stone in the foundation of our lives. I don’t often experience jealousy, but it is there. My life mate also has several other lovers and as do I by extension. So when I see her with one of our other partners it sometimes makes me jealous. It can’t be helped, and it’s natural to feel like that from time to time.’
