Research shows bipolar disorder may damage the brain over time.
Medial temporal structures are prone to decreased grey or white matter in those living with bipolar disorder. In turn, this can lead to memory disruption. Bipolar episodes decrease brain size, and possibly intelligence.
Grey matter in the brains of people with bipolar disorder is destroyed with each manic or depressive episode.
I wanted to test out some stylization stuff alongside vent art. These are the kinds of episodes I personally experience :P luckily I haven't had one since April of last year! So it's been a wonderful year for me :) thanks medz.

i love languages so much i think they are so beautiful and linguistic diversity needs to be maintained because there are so many languages in the worlds and thats so aweosme *visibly choking back tears over the fact that i will never be able to speak every language ever*
#i find languages and their differences and nuances so cool and amazing#but i can literally only speak english... a travesty tbh#i would love to speak all languages but it just doesnt come easy to me ive tried learning so many times#ive gotten the furthest with spanish and can understand bits and pieces. i want to learn more but its so hard#when the autistic hyperfixation on it burns out its hard to keep the motivation#but i plan on learning spanish and japanese in my lifetime. i swear i will. i want to so bad
