•Wine3• I picked up this little Pinor Noir number because of the name. I know a wonderful young lady named Lyric. Her carisma, charm, and out-going personality brightens any worm she walks in. I wondered in the wine with you namesake was as magnanous as she is.... It's not. At first taste there's just something missing. Feels like your tongue is expecting something that the wine is just not delivering. Kinda like when Amazon says your package has been believed but you have been home all day and nothing arrived. It just doesn't really have a very defined flavor profile. It's not offensive nor super sour bit it leave as after taste that reminds me of Apirin. It's a whopping 14.3% alcohol which tells me that this wine was not made for the taste but for the tipsy effect. I love Lyric the girl bit not Lyric the wine. I wouldn't buy again but I would still drink it if someone gave it to me for free. •Wine2• This is a local wine from my back yard, Maryland. It's semi-sweet. At first taste, It's light in your mouth. Reminds me of a gloomy/gray shower-filled day in April. I can see sipping this on the porch while I sit in my grandma's rocking chair and watch the rain drizzle down from the porch canopy. It's a bit too acidic for such an airy wine. This would not be on my short list if I was going to the liquor store to pick up a few bottles for the week.
