"Oh stop - you can't possibly mean that." Killian had always been candid with Wren, letting her know just how old he was and how he had managed to survive this long - though making it very clear he never killed unless he absolutely had to. "I'd be way more wrinkly than your average person." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "But enough about my wrinkles. I was thinking about taking a vacation this spring. Is there anywhere you'd want to go?"

the sigh that left the back of wren's throat was happy and soft, and his fingers in her hair prompted her to step closer. she knew how sickly sweet she was to killian, often warning people to brush their teeth to avoid cavities whenever they were around the couple. but wren couldn't help it; killian was her soulmate, and showing softness for him was one of her greatest pleasures in life. "i'm biased, yes, but i still think you'd be handsome even if you looked like a prune. you could be the wrinkliest being on this planet and i would still love you."

"Maybe we should switch," Fionn snorted. "I'll be a ghost, you can be a wolf. You'd probably thrive with the whole pack mentality thing, whereas I would do anything to be able to just phase out and stop existing for a while." Maybe that's why the pair got along so well - he was willing to be social for her, and she knew to give him space, even when they wanted to do the opposite. "Well, I guess I won the ghost lottery. We'll have to think of something fun to commemorate this very exciting turn of events."

"my favorite indeed, but don't tell anyone that. i'll be accused of being biased and then i'll have to go literal ghost and start terrorizing the other wolves. it wouldn't be good." loren grinned over at fionn, happy to be in his presence at all. she knew how often he liked to make himself scarce, and while she didn't particularly like it, she always respected his boundaries. "honestly? anywhere and everywhere. i've been trying to stay solid most days because being ghostie is lonely. you caught me on a day where i have no commitments, though."

His lips twitched slightly upwards as he watched Sam try to sort out his joke. "Your inner cat is showing," he tutted gently, but he nodded. "Yes - those are the benefits of being human. There's no need to hunt for something, you can just go to the store. I can't imagine there's a lot of tuna in the Dallas area otherwise." He quirked an eyebrow slightly, and shrugged. "Well, someone has to - may as well be me. I'm probably the oldest one in the house."

Fionn sat on the other side of the couch, accepting the remote before pulling open the DirectTV menu, nodding. "Yeah, that sounds like Blake. I'm not really much of a Disney guy, personally, but let's see what we've got." As he was scrolling through the options, he stopped, rolling his eyes. "Ah yes. Teen Wolf. Classic."

Sam could read tone, so they knew it was a joke, but they did indeed look confused at the word before Fionn demonstrated what he meant. Then they laughed and nodded. "Yes, but also other things," they explained as they started making their way out of the kitchen. "As human, I have job. Job pays money. Money buys tuna. I like tuna." They glanced at Fionn with a small smile. At least emoting was more instinctive than words. "I think I would still like you as wolf. But I like you as human. You explain things."

Reaching the living room, they set their plate on the coffee table before curling up against one corner of the couch, turning the TV on and handing the remote to Fionn. "You get to pick," Sam offered with a smile and a shrug. "I will watch anything. Lately I have been watching Disney with Blake. She likes the ones with talking animals."

Parker made friends easily, but she was still extra drawn to Ro because they both couldn't hardly stand to leave the house during the daytime. She never felt like she was missing out on pockets of friendship because Ro didn't want to leave the house while the sun way up, either.

"Yes, I know right? Who would have thought," she let out an airy laugh before she sat on the other side of the couch. "Oh please; more like a magnet for my meals." She teased gently. "I don't really like living alone, but Halen is...." She shrugged. "Well. You've met him. You know how he is. Besides, living with you would be way more fun. You would understand and maybe even appreciate how hard I try to keep every slit of sunlight from entering the apartment."

ro was more of a nighttime being than anything else. the light hurt her eyes in the daytime, and if she didn't have sunglasses on it was because she was usually inside. she had the typical habits of a moth, always going towards anything with a lightbulb. she was grateful that parker couldn't go outside in the sun, always keen on planting herself on her friend's couch, just like now.

shifting so she could look over at her, ro's eyebrows pulled together in curiosity. "you mean you're growing tired of your undecorated space that you're probably lonely in most of the time? shocking." chuckling, rosemary shoved herself up into a sitting position, her head cocking to the side as she watched parker. "you sure you want to live with the literal bringer of death? i've heard i can be annoying to live with."

Nothing about the Von family really made sense, if you looked at it from an outside perspective. How could both Parker and her brother flush when they didn't have blood in their veins? All the same, her face often felt like it was on fire when Mo was around, and she was more than sure there was some way that her face reflected that. "It's - okay, you know what, I'm not going to explain it," she shook her head. "This is a trap and I'm not falling for it." Parker found herself talking about her streaming career all too often, and while Halen was forced to put up with it as her brother, she wasn't going to make Mo sit through a detailed explanation. "Well, that's one way to put it. I was gonna say sass masters supreme, actually. With a little bit of playful biting sprinkled in. None of this is any fun if we can't just drag each other to hell and back because deep down we actually like each other's company."

Seeing a vampire actually blush, never ceased to amaze Mo, leaning back a bit to dodge her hair. Sometimes he forgot how separate age made them, the years blended together at times. There's a brief moment where they almost get the urge to snarl over the tip comment but manage to hold it off shrugging. Running a hand through their hair, "Still don't really get what subbing to you does, but I like the little mini yous I can spam," he said, "Xander was trying to get Foster to make me a VIP on their channel, not sure what that's about." There's more he wants to say but she's not wrong, he feels too sober to be spilling feelings right now. Starting to walk with her again, "Oh yeah? What's our dynamic? Sexy vampire and her shadow?"

"Far be it from me to walk up to you and insult you; I am well aware of what you're capable of," Foster slid an arm around her waist, cocking his head to indicate she should go back with up to the bar. "Cmon, I'll even buy you a drink since now you have to put up with me." As he quickly flagged down the bartender, he turned his attention back to Asli. "This place is definitely far too good for you. You really showed off the hotness scale disparity the minute you walked in the door."

despite asli's insistence on being at the knightclub when she was on the hunt, sometimes she enjoyed a good dive bar. it was usually when she wasn't feeling particularly social, wanting to plant herself at a corner table with her drink and a book, glancing up every once in a while. that's why, when she stepped into this particular bar and foster page was in her eyesight, she let out a sigh. whether it was happy or annoyed was to be determined.

"what vibe would that be, exactly? are you saying that i'm too put together to be in this bar? or that this place is too good for me?"

"I hate hugs full stop," Foster murmured, focusing intensely on his phone as if it held the secrets of the universe. "I'm happier when no one is touching me but I make exceptions for you, of course. My one true ice love."

"It's definitely the sexual tension," Foster snorted, finally looking back up at Aiden. "Nah; I mean, there's a couple girls I'm casually seeing, but nothing like that. One of them I think would kick my ass if I even breathed romantically in her direction. The other? She's just fun and cool, and good in bed, not much else going on there."

"What you don't like warm hugs?" Aiden quipped as the lined up, catching the way his eyes changed. They'd gotten use to it after a while, learning when Foster was actually crossed with him. "Been a while since I've been in Canada, so you might be right on that. GPS best thing to ever happen to the world, way easier to do my jobs now."

"Come on V-Day is coming up, romance is in the air and all that," pausing to think before grinning slyly, "Or that might just be all the sexual tension between folks. No one you want to buy some chocolate for?" His tone switching from teasing to more genuine curiosity as the moved up the line.

"Oh - no, not at all. I hate the cold," Spencer quickly shook their head. "Actually, I was looking for a new glamour enchantment. Mine is... well loved, let's just put it that way, and unfortunately, my true form isn't exactly one that can blend in easily in the crowd." They gently tugged on the simple silver chain they were wearing. "This is what's currently enchanted right now. I was asking because I don't really run into people who've run into basilisks." They were still sort of shy when outright admitting what they were, but it still felt so foreign to be able to just let others know - it had only been five years, which to them, was barely any time at all.

If Cooper had to make one more frost or ice charm he'd actually scream, the latest one he'd been working on snapping and covering his work bench in ice. Biting back his frustration he heard the bell chime and walked out from the back to the front of the jewelry store.

He couldn't place the face and gave a nod when they smiled at him, "I do," he confirmed using a rag to get the frost off his hands and tossing it on the counter. "Well depends on what enchantment you're looking for, some can be catch alls and some require a little more customization." He hesitated biting back a grimace, "Are you looking for a cooling charm, been a bit of the hot item with the weather warming up."

Focusing on a new task, Halen shifted from complaining to trying to accurately answer Knightley's questions. "Yeah - not like a flame thrower or anything. I think maybe just like. A fireball or something. I really don't know," he wrinkled his nose in frustration, but cocked his head slightly. "Like.... in general or when I'm trying to do it?"

"Well it made us closer as work partners at least, not a lot of room for us not to be," Knightley mused out loud. Even if getting their system set up had taken a lot of trial and error. At the mention of fire he glanced at his hand, thinking over how it was almost instinctual now to be able to bring it out. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're meant to breath it out right? Do you feel any type of warmth in your chest?"

"Oh fuck me," Halen let out an irritated groan - though it wasn't Kel's fault. He seemed to keep falling apart more and more these days, though he had yet to figure out why. "Sorry - I mean, yes, thank you. This is just like the second time in the last few weeks something like this has happened - it's starting to get embarrassing." Accepting his own hand from Kel, Halen offered him a tentative smile. "I know it kind of freaks people out - I don't even feel it. So sorry if that was not the way you wanted to start your afternoon. Do-" He paused for a moment. "You wouldn't happen to be handy with sewing body parts back together, would you?"

Kel was more than a bit bored, he'd already managed to track down the lead he had and gotten the magic item. Casually tossing it into the air as he walked, he'd already texted Jess and the client wouldn't be back in town till tomorrow. So he could make as many detours as he wanted before heading back. Stumbling he barely managed to catch himself along with the item, turning to see a...hand? Blinking in confusion he picked it up and glanced around before spotting Halen walking seeming not to have noticed. Jogging up he tapped him on the shoulder, "Uh...you dropped this?" He'd seen him at Val's on occasion, but Halen's friend Knightley seemed hellbent on avoiding Kel's group with Jess whenever Aiden was around.

It wasn't anything impressive - a dagger through a hand, though it was more the style he was trying to improve. Everyone needed their own, and while he had been trying to mimic neo-trad for a while, it just didn't quite suit him. "Well, if that's your professional suggestion," Kip's lips twitched into something that almost resembled a smile. "I'll probably practice on some pig ears first or something. I want to make sure I can get it to look how I see it in my mind before inflicting Zach with it." He paused for a minute. "Wait can shifters just get rid of tattoos they hate?"

kirby was sketching on their ipad when kip asked them that, glancing up at him and setting their stuff off to the side to look at it. "yeah it looks good." they said and leaned back in their chair before pointing to zach, "ask him. he's my guinea pig for new tattoo's i wanna put on someone, usually pretty easy to convince him especially with either weed or food."

She straightened up, eyes bright. "Really? Ugh, Emmet, you're such a genius, have I told you that lately?" She bounced on the balls of her feet for a moment. Rini had always been easily excitable, but moreso when she got what she wanted. "Honestly I can deal with the soreness; it's the chafing that's a real problem. It's not my fault my wings are so big and pretty."

emmet had a serious look on his face when rini started batting her eyes but he couldn't hold it and broke out into a grin as he listened. "i might be able to yeah." he'd already started thinking of some ideas in his head. "i can't promise it'll fix the problem but i can make a couple rough draft designs for you to test and see which one won't do that? then i can make it all fancy like and more sturdy."
