She smiled. “I hope he is okay with me spoiling him.”

“Oh no this is dangerous.” she joked grinning at him. “That’s terrifying especially cause your kids are going to drag mine into it.” she said grinning. “I hope Minette will be just as good as Vega.” she said smiling a bit. “Oh I know you will. Uncle Remus will be more popular than mummy.” she joked. “Nope.  You get what you get.” she said teasingly. “Look it’s cute and sweet and I love it but I also want to spoil him Remus.” she said blushing a bit.

“ I promise if your kids get in trouble because of mine, I will be the one to pick them up and bring them home with a giant chocolate cake to make up for it. And know Sirius would get hexed for it.” he laughed. “ Minette is going to be an angel, and have I told you how much I love that name, did Reggie help pick it out?” he asked. “ Until Remi I like that better.” He playfully corrected. “ I suppose I’ll have to deal with 12 year old me choices. “ Then spoil him, you both can spoil each other.”

“I like that third act.” She said giggling “I mean you’d have to be comfortable telling your brother why you have to have him fight Remus off. But no you don’t need to worry about Dahlia.” She said she was nervous wondering if he was ready to tell anyone about them. “Saving some means there’s a limited amount.” She said running her hand over his cheek.

She nodded and held him close. “I’ll let you know.” she said softly it might be a lie. She had a hard time telling people she cared about when things bothered her. “I suppose you’re right.” she said biting her lip thinking back to those days when she felt so worthless when he’d kiss her and run. “Gosh don’t say that. I’m not looking forward to the third act break up because of miscommunication.” she joked playfully. “Oh absolutely. But then no matter what you’d have to worry about that. Remus is as much my brother as Dahlia is my sistrer.” she told him feeling like she had to make sure he knew that. She’d had too many problems with Sirius and honestly everyone who thought her and Remus were more than close friends. She giggled lightly as she kissed him back happily. She’d never felt so light or happy before.

Regulus laughed shaking his head. “ I can promise you there will be on third act miscommunication. I think that trope is a bit overplayed, maybe a third act where we because so obnoxiously in love that we ride off into the sunset,” he teased though he would not be opposed to riding off with her into the sunset, or moving to lovely home in France together. “ Well I have to worry about Dahlia as well. Should I employ Sirius to fight off his boyfriend, but I am sure that he is more than happy to do that. If Sirius keep him busy, then I get to spent more time with you,” he said. Regulus kissed a few people in his life, but none made him feel like Violet did when he kissed her. He pulled away slightly. “ We must save some kissing the Ferris  wheel.

“ I will tell you, I promise, but I like it,” he assured her. “ And you’ll tell me if you don’t like what I call you.” Regulus was new to pet names and he was sure she heard all the flowers ones, but she was so important to him, like a petal was to a flower. “ I think it’s been easy now, but drunken kisses and all that was not easy.” He pointed out.  “ Natural, I will agree with, feels like a romance novel.” As cheesy as it sound. “ So it’s a family thing, I will have to investigate it more” He raised an eyebrow. “ So I guess I will have to be on alert of Remus Lupin hiding in trees or behind building trying to hex me.” He laughed.  Regulus pulled her closer, kissing her.

“ I like when you call me that.” He normally hated that nickname, but coming for Violet, it was perfect. “ And here I always thought I was more cat like than puppy. And for a moment I thought you were talking about my brother and not my dog.” He said flushing lightly, still embarrassed he named his dog after his older brother. “ That is good, would hate for him to hex me walking on the street.” He moved closer to her for a moment pecking her lips once more. “ It is a very good thing.”

“Tell me if you don’t.” she said softly. She didn’t know him not liking the nickname but she knew of a few of her own that people used that she wasn’t a fan of. “No. Cat’s you have to work for everything with them. I feel like our whole relationship has just been easy.” she said softly. “Natural is probably a better word.” she mumbled as she giggled. “Yes I’m calling your brother a puppy too.” she teased. “Honestly I think he’s more likely to hex you after I told him.” she teased playfully knowing her best friend. She giggled holding onto him kissing back. “Good. Cause I can’t get enough of kissing you.”

“ A Puppy? That is the second time in less than a week I have been compared to a dog. What it is about me that screams puppy?” he laughed against her head. He loved having her in his arms. “Really? He smiled against her lips cupping her face in his hands. “ I don’t think I’ll ever get use to kissing you.”

“Really Reggie.” she said running her fingers up the side of his face into his hair. “You’re so sweet. Just like Siri. I can just imagine a wagging tail and floppy ears.” she teased grinning. “I did in fact inform him you were a gentleman.” she said giggling as she kissed back sighing when he moved back. “I hope that’s a good thing.” she said softly

They hadn’t been together long, but Regulus was not above saying he was completely gone for her. He probably been gone from the moment they first met. He lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw her, pulling him into a tight hug. “ Still, I’m sure your friends wanted to see you, make sure the big bad wolf didn’t eat you up,” he chuckled. “ It does suck, which is why we shouldn’t do it tomorrow morning.”

“Only Remus knows I was in France with a puppy.” she teased playfully burying her face into his neck just enjoying being held by him. “And he was expecting you to eat me up.” she said almost shy about the words she was joking but while her and Remus could joke like this she hadn’t actually joked this way with Regulus and it made her a bit nervous. “No we really shouldn’t.” she said leaning up and taking his cheek in her hand to lead him down to kiss him.

At this point Regulus had been outside for entirely too long and knew someone would come looking for him sooner or later. So he put his phone away before her reply to come in. He found his mother easily, moving to her side, telling her he was taking his leave. When promoted on the reasoning before dinner was served, he snorted and made a comment that if he wanted to be sick he would eat at a muggle establishment. Of course it worked and after pressing kiss to her cheek, he left pulling out his phone the moment he was gone. “ Everyone will be at the ball for the rest of the night, I don’t want to take you away from your fun, plus it will be fun, though sleepover with our babies is a must.”

She couldn’t help but giggle lightly as she saw his response. “If you’re sure. I’d love to spend some time with you here. It looks really pretty under the snow.” she said smiling softly. “Stay over after. Or I can come over yours with Minnie.” she said softly.

As much as he would like to see Violet, he would hate to cut into her fun and enjoyment with her friends. Just because he was miserable didn’t mean she was. “ Then stay, have fun, maybe I could join you? I’ve never been on a Ferris Wheel before. It is cheesy that I want to kiss you at the time. She smiled a bit hearing that. “I’d love you to join me. But I know it might be dangerous so if you want I’d rather just be with you we can have a sleepover with our babies and cuddle and watch cheesy christmas movies.” she said letting him know she was good no matter what he wanted to do. “I love that. “ You should be, I was suppose to be the good one. The peer pressure got to poo Pete and I. I sometimes think James and Sirius pulled us into a cult.,” he joked laughing. “ I will have to try to steer both our children towards books and less towards sneaking skunk bombs into Hogwarts.” Though he would be proud either way. “ I know it is why I am still cleaning and cooking in my house with grown men that behave as children. I suppose I am getting in good practice,” he said. “ Yes they would be buttering you up at the beginning of the letter so they will get what they want, little devious devils.” He narrowed his eyes at her. “ I am look forward to beating you even more now,” he teased. “ Pretending to cook? That is so adorable, how come you get to date the adorable brother,” he joked. “ No, but really that is so sweet.”

She raised her eyebrow. “That what do we call any deviance I got up to with you. Cult by association.” she teased playfully. “You know Sirius and James won’t allow that.��� she joked knowing the two men were going to be teaching their children all their wicked ways. “See you have loads of practice over me. Both with your boys and with Vega.” she told him. “”I’ll spoil your children rotten. You best believe.” she joked. “We’ll see how that goes. Honestly it’s going to be the fair that makes out betwewen the two of us.” she joked. “Because I chose the one with golden retriever energy and you chose the one with labrador retriever energy.” she joked. “It so was but he really didn’t need to. I don’t ever get to cook for anyone!”

Regulus wasn’t sure if he was enjoying the party or not. He spent most of the night at his mother’s side, hearing her go on and on about how the party would have been better if they hosted. The last thing he wanted to do was host a Christmas party. He pointed out that they didn’t believe in god and it made no sense to celebrate the holiday. She didn’t enjoy his comment and told him to leave her. He was more than happy to be free of her. The vibration of his phone had him making a quit exit outside, the last thing he needed was his mother knowing he had one. His heart warmed when he got Violet’s video. He missed her. “ Hi petal, are you free to meet up now? I am more than ready to leave.’

She hadn’t expected the immediate response. She knew he was at his family thing, and she knew he had to be more careful around them. She couldn’t help but smile and blush when he called her petal. it was dumb and she normally would yell at anyone giving her a flower-based nickname for being unoriginal but hearing it from him just made her feel warm. “Sure. I was thinking of staying a bit longer, but I think I’d be happier just being with you.”

After spending as much time with Remus as she did she broke away from him and quickly opened up her phone feeling a bit nervous as she wasn’t normally like this but she was feeling cute and missing Regulus. “Hey love. Maybe we can meet up at my place after your thing.” she said trying to be a little vague as she took the video and quickly sent it to him through snap chat before sending him a quick text not to open it in front of anyone. She felt a bit nervous to try flirting the way she was and even more so now that they weren’t in France but she just wanted to see him again.”

“ I hope I would balance then out, but to be truthfully some of our idea for pranks did come from me.” He might have had the ideas, but he preferred to act as if it was all the other marauders. “ That would help, my little one will need a best friend that won’t convince them to sneak out of the castle all the time.” Though once again he was grateful for his friend group. “ Yes I did, for about a year until little Remus broke down crying that he hated lying to his mummy.” He laughed at the memory. “ If they figure it out then they can write letter to Sirius or I.” He added. “ I will beat you, I have been practicing all year, you are going down, Violet.” He said pushing her shoulder back. “ There is nothing wrong with waiting I won’t make fun of you for that, but you two made out? How did it happen?” 

“Remus! I’m shocked.” she said though she in no way was. Sirius and James were devious geniuses but she knew her best friend very well. She knew he was just as devious. He just knew how to stay lowkey. “I mean I can’t guarentee anything. My little one is going to be spending the majority of their time probably with their god fathers.” she said. She hadn’t mentioned it before but it had been a plan since she found out about Sirius that as much as she loved Lily her childrens godparents were going to be Remus and Sirius. It made things better in her mind especially with a war that if they were the ones to take in her child if she had one that there wouldn’t be confusion of who would take care of them. It would be the people from the same house. “You are way too sweet.” she teased. “Our aunty Violet.” she said grinning. “Sure I am.” she saiud with a nod.. She giggled a bit. “He was trying to impress me by pretending to cook for a while and when I caught him coming in with pastries from a bakery we had a discussion and I guess he confessed.” she said shyly.

That poor woman is probably going to retire,” he said laughing. “ I doubt our children would be little us, asking a billions questions about him, and then at 5 realize he is not real, but still pretend for our benefit.” he joked, “ Not as fun as beating you at the ring toss. I can make out with Sirius whenever, but I only get to do that for a week,” he said teasingly. He paused their walking raising an eyebrow. “ Right? That the snow was a ploy to have his way with you? Did you let him? Oh god you have tasted all of him haven’t you?”

“I mean hopefully you will balance your child out. Merlin knows that woman deserved to crack under your friend group.” she teased grinning. “Maybe I’ll try having a child at the same time. Smooth the waters over for her.” she said grinning. “Was that you. I hope my children don’t pretend for my sake. If they figure it out I want to move on and find another fun tradition for them.” she said softly. “You can’t even do that now. I’m not letting you beat me.” she said shoving him playfully. She blushed brightly. “Okay no. I wasn’t....okay don’t make fun of me but I wasn’t ready and I just...I want more time with him romantically before we jump into the more physical aspect. But he is a very good kisser.” she said unable to look at him.

“ Yes our children will write letters, work on penmanship at an early age. I know half of the Professor’s at Hogwarts will thank us for it,” He teased. “ We can have a little Santa mailbox,” he added. Remus thought a lot about children, but the war scared him, but at the same time he didn’t want the war to stop him from living his life.  “ Oh, I’ve been thinking about the fair all year and very prepared for it. Just for my fiancé to make me late.” He pouted lightly. “ So tell me about your trip?” 

“Mcgonagall will be so pleased.” she said giggling. “I wonder though if they’ll believe us when it comes to Santa. Either way we’ll have fun with them.  I only want to give my children good childhoods.” she said softly knowing her and Reg and Remus and Sirius really didn’t have the best childhoods. “I’m sure you had fun though.” she teased playfully nudging him. She bit her lip as he asked. “He um...maybe you were right.” she said shyly. She was still nervous to tell anyone like it would disapate as if a dream if she did.

“ That is a relief at least, hoping the sitting on Santa’s lap fades out I before we start having children.” Though he doubt that he would object of a picture of his little baby on Santa’s lap with Sirius. “ I hope this year is the best Christmas for us, it’s been a long year,” he said hopeful. “ Oh I have a bag that is charmed to fit everything into it, don’t worry, I  thought ahead.

“I mean even if it doesn’t we don’t have to do that to our children. Aren’t there also letters to write to Santa. I think that’s a better alternative.” she said with a small smile thinking of two little dark haired children together playing in the snow with christmas jumpers on or writing letters to Santa and she tried to push it away. It was not something she really was ready to think about but for the first time really she was thinking of her future and that was weird. “It’s going to be. And you are much smarter than I am. I didn’t even think about that.” she said laughing lightly.
