He hadn’t meant it.

The news that everyone from Castle Oblivion had been eliminated had been unfortunate, but it hadn’t really affected Xigbar much. They were Nobodies, they weren’t supposed to exist anyway, so what did it matter if someday they just stopped?

No, their destruction hadn’t impacted Xigbar.

But it had taken a toll on Demyx.

The kid had always seemed to think that they as Nobodies were indestructible for some reason, that their missions, while dangerous, really couldn’t lead to their demise. So while he really didn’t care much for the members who had gone to CO, he couldn’t seem to get past the fact that they were gone.

The questions that morning were endless.

“Did you know this could happen?”

“How much does it take for us to be destroyed?”

“Do you think that will happen to us?”

By the time Roxas wandered into the Grey Area, Xigbar was wishing Saix would just show up and give Demyx a mission as far away from him as possible.

Roxas was almost as bad, although he didn’t even seem to understand what it meant. Xigbar felt like ripping his hair out as he did his best to explain.

“So do you think any of them are coming back?” Roxas had asked, wide eyed.

“As if. If they went to Castle Oblivion, they’re gone. Done. No more.”

“I’m glad I didn’t go.” Demyx chimed in weakly, and Xigbar’s patience ran out.

“I wish you had.” He snapped, and Demyx flinched.

Roxas opened his mouth again, but they were all interrupted by Saix and sent on their missions. Demyx seemed to have recovered by that night, and Xigbar put the exchange out of his head.

Now it was echoing loudly, painfully throughout his mind. The news of Demyx’s extermination had hit hard, even if it wasn’t exactly unexpected.

Had Demyx remembered what he had said as he disappeared?

He hadn’t meant it.

Now it was too late to take it back.

It’s been like two weeks since I’ve played which is too long. Password is fish babe.

I make this post in fear of hate, however the comments on the above graphics are in no way my opinions on these lovely characters. However being part of this fandom for a long time has made me notice some flaws and this is one of them. This fandom, and I don’t mean just on Tumblr, treats its lady characters badly sometimes and it’s so saddening. I only had to make few Google searches to find comments like the ones above and it makes me so sad. I felt that it was important to make a point to address this problem because I think it’s so desperately sad that the ladies of the fandom are treated so badly. It seems that the male characters of Kingdom Hearts receive a lot of love but when it comes to the ladies they are either attacked for being ‘weak’ or ‘too attractive.’

I mostly wanted to make this post to start a conversation about this. I won’t respond to any hateful messages but if anyone would like to talk to me about my thoughts on the representation of women in Kingdom Hearts I will talk to them with ease.

So there really was no “human” type affection in the mer society. So besides finding hugs really constricting at first, Demyx also has no comprehension of what kissing is or what the point of it is. 

If anyone actually got Demyx to a point where he would be comfortable with kissing someone, he’d probably end up biting their face because “kissing what is kissing why are you putting your face near mine are you going to bite is that what kissing is”? It wouldn’t be a hard bite but it would be enough to confuse whoever it was and probably Demyx too. 

Mammals are weird, man. At least to a confused fish.

So Marluxia has missed missions for a week because he went off and tied himself to a tree to keep people from cutting it down. 

But I half ass one mission and that's a problem. Riiiight.
